Darkness that lurks in historyIn Illumica, an invasion of the enemy lands of Laft is being planned. As a sign of this, Kline goes into Laft undercover. Kline is an apprentice High Beast Knight (a Rivell), but he is definitely not at the top of the class.In Laft, Kline sets eyes on a shocking scene.Blood-soaked battles between enemy tribes, darkness energy widely misused, huge monsters called Vasists...And a young girl whose life is in danger in the midst of the fighting.On an impulse, he abandons his mission, and runs to rescue the girl.This is an age when the Earth-Surface and the Earth-Depths are soaked with blood and stained with hatred. Good game just not perfect.. I lost many times enter the dungeon every map. Lol . Why lost.? Because no mini map every dungeon. And the screen so big, they just focus..zoom the characters walking lol. I need save many times before I enter next map because the character just walk forward if there a story next map(avoid to defeat in battle). Monster guide list so boring because no details information every monster.(I wish can see what kinda item we can stolen every monster or boss).
Why is it that the game is so zoomed in on the party? It makes it difficult to see my surroundings, and it's made worse by the fact that the game has no minimap. The collection list is totally useless unless you're a completionist. It would've been helpful to at least have an extensive Beastiary and Material List. A lot of the materials were so hard to find. The translation made it hard to get fully immersed into the story.Even the way the guardian beast Rooselevy spoke sounded too immature.
Played a good 70 hours trying to collect all the items and make sure I could get all the achievements then the 1.1.2g app update removed achievements without warning. Not worth playing without those, the story is pretty lame and dragged out and there is an excessive amount of collecting and grinding to make small upgrades to even basic equipment.
Ever-so-slight departure for Kemco but has all the elements I love! Good story, characters with actual personalities, straightforward game play. The *only* tweek I'd make is to zoom out a bit. Being so close makes navigating dungeons a bit tricky.
Wow. Really good game. Nice plot twists, as well. Really loved the Ex clear and then ANOTHER one after that. Good superboss fight. Nearly every part of the game was great, with a few weaknesses here and there. Definitely worth playing.
The story, gameplay, SNES material graphics and hard difficulty are as excellent as when I first played it years ago. That is to say, this is one of the best games ever with almost no weaknesses!
It's a good wee game. I like the characters, story and graphics. It's smooth and works well so far. Not overly complicated and entertaining. But there is no skills tree to choose from for the characters, I think that's my only jibe but saying that it's well worth the money π
I bought this game ages ago and now when I download and try to open it, it reads, License Checking and then, Sorry Validation Has Failed. I also emailed to say this. Fix this problem NOW!!! Great game .played this a long time ago and i enjoyed it. Playing it second time around. One of the best musical scores ever in a rpg game.,I wish fantasy chronicles would come out on android. I would really like to play it.
This is a great game, however you may need guides of which luckly can be found on a kemco rpg fansite called "rpg insanity"(google the quote to get to it), the maps is what you will need due to no automap and huge dungeons, but other than this, its a fun game, i hope theyll port it to xbox someday. :)
Made it to 3rd dungeon where I completely stuck. Bought some DM thinking I had to fight the gatekeeper, only to find out the game isn't loading the other part of the dungeon I need to continue. Not happy and pissed right now.
For sure 5/5, excellent RPG. A tad text heavy at times, but great story and all the pluses outweigh that.
Played game on 3ds as a digital download when it was available and had fun. Phone version pretty much same but easier on my eyes.
I just redownload this game onto my new phone and I've beaten almost 25 percent of the game already I am so happy, will update more as I progress the rest of the game. The game is great !

I enjoyed playing this game, it was like an old ds game. Definitely some nastolgia there.

Great story, interesting character
The game runs smoothly and has some small but interesting new features like the way the menu is set up. Nothing groundbreaking though. But more noticeably, it's missing some really basic QoL features like battle function memory (need to reinput every. single. battle.) and a fast forward option that doesn't mesh well with Steal. Say you're hunting a monster that shows up on average every ten battles. You can't turn off FF in the middle of battle either. So yeah. Not a bad game, but not great.
