Does exactly what it says, tests your device to see if you should run rpg maker mv games on it. My Huawei Mate 10 Pro didn't lag at all until I was doing the animations. 1 dropped it maybe 5 frames, 2 dropped it another 15 on top of that, and the 3 dropped it down an additional 20. So I was hovering around 20 frames or so when the 3 animations at once played. I probably won't be playing to many rpg maker games anyways. I've yet to find one that really grabs at me.
This is great! Awesome. Shows that my phone works well and love to see frames in the top. I randomly found this and use rpg maker but never export for Android. Is there options to have frames shown on all games? I love to make little games for my friends and myself so that would be cool. Thanks!
Hey Thomas, Thanks for this app. I've been using MV myself since it's release and this benchmark certainly inspires me to get back into RPGMV as I've been away for a long time now (little over 2 years). This Benchmark was very helpful, I have a Huawei P30 Lite and everything ran extremely smooth with the exception animations which at 3 animations reduced my FPS to 25 - 42. Noticed one slightly annoying thing which was the text box flashing, but not sure if that was on purpose or not.
Great way to check if your phone is capable of running RM MV games. Just for referente, I'm using a 2018 Samsung A6+. It runs fine with some occasional lag, and since my screen is wider than normal it seems to affect transitions from one room to another as well.
Thank you for this Benchmark app. The only real frame drop on a P9 device was the animations. Each added animation accounted for around 10 FPS drop. Even with the "army" of sprites I had 45-60 FPS. Thank you so much. Brilliant app 5 stars!
This worked well on my LG Premier Pro. It ran at 60 FPS normally and animations/storms caused it to drop to 50 or 40. The insane sprite army caused my FPS to go down to 13, but the app never crashed. I appreciate that you made this benchmark. Thanks!
Pocophone F1: got a steady 60fps, even with insane lightning and a shitload of moving sprites. Moving around/shaking did nothing to my fps, 3 flashing objects made me drop to a very playable 40fps. the lag creating horse of doom made me drop to an unsteady 40fps, but it did indeed create some lag, with my fps occasionally dropping as low as 15.
Everything else works great. The only issue i have is getting the screen to resize and fit my screen perfectly. Everytime i try to open an htm5 game it'll cut off part of the screen
Pretty good benchmark, There are some bugs but those are probably intentional , Overall a pretty good way to see if your device can handle MV games
Works pretty good for me and I have an old device. Lagged a tiny bit after I went insane with weather and summoned every army but the lag was barely noticeable.
Tested on s10+ no lag, stable 60 fps. the only drop happened when there was insane amount of sprites on screen with storm weather on. The lowest fps was 45. I'm going to check your videos cause I'd like to port my game to android.
This is pretty good so far my phone barley lags i only experienced lag when i set the weather to snow and the mode to insane, i didn't find any bugs but if i do i will notify you.
Ok so works absolutely fine for samsung galaxy tabA (2019) but I ran into one minor issue whenever I spoke to someone or fought the orc the text boxes would flicker like crazy but it works great
frame rates not perfect but it should be good .I hope that this will allow us to make our own rpgs or a least play rpg game on our phone in the future.
Totally awesome!😎 Did exactly what it was meant to do. I enjoyed the apeshit amount of sprites on my phone screen, also. 🤣
Runs smooth. Except when I enter a shop or something similar, I can't exit out.
The developer says this is updated to MZ but the game itself looks to be created in MV? I was told by many people that MZ was more resource intensive than MV was but better optimized.
It works really well with my device. I played with afew things and it seems to be working fine. I hope to see more in the future.
great game! great storyline and character customization system.
I couldn't make an RPG... Can u make it easier? Or am I missing something? Does it work on PC, android and IOS? Answers pls!
So, my phone didnt quite handle RPG Maker MV so now i know not to buy RPGMMV games and waste my money! thanks to the developer.
When will MZ have mobile support? This is a holdback to buy since while I don't want to commercialize a game I want to play it on mobile. Also where is the back button on mobile?
For a tester app, it worked very well on my Motorola phone. Keep pushing forward! C:
No lag at all even when I put storm on with the animals on full I have a Sony Xperia xa as well its below average for Sony phones too
Thanks to you, I know RPG Maker MV games will run at 15-20 fps on this phone.
I have an amazon fire and everything works perfectly. Thank you for this.
This is a great little test. Though I wish it had just a lil more.
good graphics and good battles
As I benchmark my phone, it runs quite smoothly (I'm using ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 in case if anyone is wondering.) However I did see 2 bugs - The first one is the screen itself. When I'm using the weather effects, it dims my screen... well, not the entirety of my screen though. It's same goes to the gold flash when obtaining a gold at the maze. Lastly, the lag. It usually happens when I'm at the rightmost of the map. I think it's because of the water animation. Anyways, that was my observation.
