I had a TI in high school ('79-'82), but I recall those few who had the HPs. (They never had to worry about anyone asking to borrow them ;)) I learned RPN in University when I took Computing Science. This is the first HP calc I've actually liked... takes a bit of getting used to.
One of the first apps I looked for when I migrated from my Microsoft Phone to Android.
I posted the review below in June 2017. In the time since then other calculator apps have been developed or have been enhanced to the point where some now exceed RPN9 in my estimation. Therefore I am dropping my rating of this app from 5 stars down to 4. +++++++++++++++ One of my regrets about moving off of the Windows Phone platform was losing this calculator app, so I was greatly relieved to learn that RPN9 lives as an Android app too. What makes the app a pleasure to use for me is its carefully considered choice of available and easily accessible functions.
Both easy to use and powerful. Makes good use of the phone screen.
Great when you need to add a lot of numbers in a row.
Excellent RPN calculator. Beautiful emulation of the HP series. Everything works well, and instructions included for those just starting out.
Excelent calculator. precise, intuitive and easy to use.
