Update: Android performance much better after recent update! Will raise review to 5 stars if this keeps up. "Device not found!" is the message I get about 80%-90% of the time using this app on a Moto g7. It works fine the remaining 10%-20% of the time. The iOS version of the app is much more reliable, suggesting that the receiver works reliably.
To the people who are having issues pairing the device. If you have an android device download the older version(1.2.17 of the RQ DOOR app(apk file), don't let it update and it will work just fine. Sorry this solution does not work for iOS. I'm disappointed in the customer service, I sent multiple emails and I got no replies whatsoever. Version 1.2.17 works great WITHOUT UPDATING TO Version 1.4.0 DOES NOT WORK
This is a failure try again. App losses settings often. App will not pair with opening device. Phone shows device is available in bluetooth menu but app doesn't see it and yes permissions are enabled. Try again because this one gets an F for FAILURE.
this worked fine until the last update on November 18. Now it will not recognize my device. Previous reviews list this same problem months ago ..total bs that the developer hasn't bothered to fix it. ps it is 30 degrees below zero in Wisconsin today.
Stopped working after recent update won't see my device anymore. To others impacted google the older version i believe 1.2.17 and install. Disable auto update on this. Rendered my gragage door opener useless. I hope they fix this issue can or build new app for it.
It works pretty well on my LG Stylo 3. I was hoping to see it compatible with Alexa but so far, it isn't. My phone's bluetooth range seems limited sadly.
it work most of the time. but sometimes it will lag. if possible for Android assistant to control it, it will be the best!
Having issues connecting two huawei mate 20 pros to the same door opener. I can connect one and open it successfully but when I connect the second it works on the second but not the first (says connection error

I bought this @ amazon .version 1.4.0 doesnt see the device. I downloaded ver 1.2.17 and seems more stable .I NEED HELP ADDING A PHONE TO CONTROL MY GARAGE.
Had revert back to an old version. This new version my phone cannot find the device.
Was great until it stopped working and now it won't register ☹️

Worked fine on my LG v10 and older Samsung but now annoys you with a request to update software that always fails to update. VERY annoying...
Well I have not got to download the app yet cos it was ants access to my contacts, want to record audio and video, and know where I am all of the time. Why? This should be a simple app that tell a garage door to open! If it works well I will let my friends know you don't have to worry about that ..Careful what you allow..
