RSA SafeTrx
- RSA SafeTrx app allows you to register your vessel and plan your journey on your Smartphone.
Registering vessel and journey information couldn’t be any easier. Follow an easy to understand registration process to register your contact and vessel details within the application. Once your registration details and emergency contact information is saved, you may begin planning your journey. Using built in maps, select a starting point, an optional waypoint and an end destination. Add to this an ETA, the type of trip and the number of persons on board your vessel. Once this is completed simply press the ‘set sail’ button when you are ready to start your journey.
Pressing ‘set sail’ will register the journey details with NSRI’s computer server and will activate position reporting in the app. At regular intervals the app will send a position report to the server and your emergency contacts will be automatically alerted after the journey exceeds the ETA.
At any stage during the journey you can end your trip, revise the ETA, number of people on board or the destination.

The setting of times for ETA is a little clumsy for ME. I hope to get used to it. Otherwise it's an AMAZING app. THANK YOU ALL at NSRI who do such great work.
this app has been upgraded and now there are 3 steps to getting help 1. Call for Help button 2. EMERGENCY button 3. Confirm. Very Very difficult to see the confirm button.
I do not appreciate that as soon as I signed up with this app I started getting spam calls from them and from other creeps!
Good. But could use a medical or emergency tab. Also a suggested communication app or tool.
This app remains a great tool but the course representations aren't always accurate.

Greateat App Ever. going to Sea/ Dam/ River on anything that floats and wanna know where u are. where you have been and know you are being watched by NSRI. in fact even Hiking. if you are late/ or hurt NSRI can scramble to help.

Why must I have a data connection to log into the app? Some places I go only have a weak signal which will not allow me to log in, renders the app useless.
Great to have a tested system that works. Problematic when there is no cell phone signal and you want to notify that you have reached your destination.
