Good, useful free app! Time saver, convenient, money saver. Not sure why my device got hot after boarding, possibly because I left the app running with the ticket presented. Turning it off after boarding seemed to fix the warming problem. Recommend getting this app even if you only use it a few times annually.

I've been using the app for a year now. It is very convenient for someone like me who has a sight problem and doesn't feel safe carrying cash all the time. To RTA credit, I recently had a problem where I bought three all day passes and they would not show up in my tickets but I got confirmed emails that I made the purchase. However, a few hours later the problem was fixed and I now have access to all three purchased tickets. Thank you for fixing the problem and being honest. I have more respect

Locked out for no reason. Tried to get the 3 digit code & it wont send and you dont get the call either. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & nothing. Ive been trying to get back in my account for over 2 hours. This doesnt makes sense. I need this app. FIX IT PLEASE

Well functioning app unless you get locked out. Application will instruct user to contact support via phone, but they will ask you to email technical support. Application should prompt user to email technical support instead of having user call in ther event of a lockout. technical support email isn't found on site easily or within application either.

When the app had a glitch I emailed support as advised because i bought two 7 day passes and they both activated same day without my knowledge because it still showed as a unused ticket left after activating just one. When I noticed my other pass was gone and what happened as stated I emailed through the app and they are so rude and refused to help. I took a screenshot and they were still so rude and unwilling to assist. With all going on how do you just take someone's money like that. CRAZY!!

I've been trying for about a month in a half to get my RTA account back up and running and no one seems to be helping me . The app is very convenient but now I cant get back into my account because its locked and the only person that can fix it is the App owners. I'm not even sure what to do at this point.

like others mention, RTA assume you well never, ever, need a new phone. If you do, you'll be locked out. Then wait for support which might arrive at some point, but it certainly won't be during the weekend or in evening hours. whether or not you'll ever see your credit again is uncertain. frankly, the app is atrocious. UPDATE. Six weeks after contacting support, I'm still waiting for any response. Franky, the app is not fit for propose.

Don't EVER get a new phone. This app will lock out when you do. and then you are instructed to call customer service on the app and customer service tells you to send an email. Customer service says that they should respond in 6 hours. I'm still waiting and it's been two days. And now since it is Friday I have to wait until Monday before I can see IF they will fix the issue for me. Totally unacceptable that you get a new phone and the app locks you out after you have put in all the correct things. I have TONS of apps that don't do that. Changing your phone is a FACT of life in this day and age. They should have some way that you could log in, validate your account and remove the old phone(s) on your account so that you won't get locked out. Worst developed app I have ever seen, and that includes the in-app purchase ones. I may just go back to having the paper cards and uninstall this app since they don't have any type of customer service capabilities.

I had to change my review because the customer support for this app is atrocious. If you change your phone (keep same number and SIM), the app will lock your account and you will have to wait days for RTA to reinstate your account. You are liable for all your lost money and time if this occurs. I have a monthly pass for my daily commute, and I lost 4 days of use. This resulted in 9 rides I had to additionally pay out of pocket for because of the failings of the app and RTA. I'm disgusted.

there wasn't even an option on the plan a trick section to enter a date & time, yet it will not advance you to the next step without doing so. useless. Google maps is much easier.

Your little feature that prevents one from putting one account on more than one device isn't just inefficient. It is purely sadistic. To move my account from my tablet to my phone was an absolute nightmare of a time, and I was one of the lucky people that DIDN'T have to lose a good amount of money in bus passes. Now that my phone is busted entirely I get to repeat this process, again. Phones are built to last shorter amounts of time than ever. Also stop being allergic to your emails thank you...

The app is okay the only thing your account locks when you get a new device. It would be helpful if we can change the app without being locked out. Sometimes are devices get broke or messed up.

Was going to say how useful the app is and have a glowing review, but I got a new phone. Now I'm completely locked out because the system only allows one device per phone number and customer service won't actually help me. Why can't it be set up with a login to access your account on any device like basically every other app?

wouldnt even give it one star. got locked out of my account 7 days into buying a monthly, and couldnt get back in. can't talk to a human, you can ONLY email tech support. stupid really. recently got new phone with new company and now the app is pointless. had to buy a whole new monthly. RTA REFUSED to help. REFUSED to refund my money, even after i emailed them the receipt of my payment, they claimed that wasn't significant enough proof. SMH. Worst app EVER!! Hope nobody else gets locked out.

My android scanned thru the gate at Tower City about 2 times and the other 20-30 times it wouldn't won't scan (they had to buzz me thru) and after numerous complaints and no help I am back to tickets. They actually blamed it on my android and said there was nothing wrong with their equipment, really RTA!

This app is ok when it doesnt sign you out, the app gliches and your monthly or 7day pass is not showing at all, or you have an issue and need to reach customer service. I have been locked out of my account since Sunday and have emailed them multiple times and EMAIL is the ONLY way to get any tech assistance. Thats a horrid company with horrid responce time remember any issue can take weeks to speek with someone i will not put my trust in them. Ease of app passes is the only reason i gave 1star.

Can't rate these crooks a zero. Who even knows what city it is for. But when you look for the RTA app and it's the only one that shows up and you pay them for tickets and they won't let you ride because it is the wrong app and you explain to them the situation and they don't care. I will never visit this city once I find out what city it is. They can have my money and shove it up their asses.

This app is extremely hard to use. I bought a weekly pass. Where the hell do you find it? Dump this cheap useless app for one that includes the active ticket on the main screen. It defeats the convenience of buying your ticket online WHEN YOU CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE!!! C'MON RTA!

Idk what's goin on now, it was working fine this morning goin to work. Now everytime I try to open it it says it crashed and a report has been sent. I have a monthly for April so it's my way to and from work. I'm not understanding, and a driver said he had other people get on with that same problem

The app kicked me out twice. I lost my 7 day pass. When I tried to reload the app again it asked me to sign in. I already had a paid 7 day pass and now I have to set this up all over again. I really don't know if the convience is worth me losing passes that I have paid for and how am I going to get that back? Will I get a refund? All I can show is the funds being withdrawn from my account.

Simple design 👌 with a clean and good font type and size for users. Payment/ticket screena are user friendly 😀 I wish I was on the team to help with RTA route information designs. They have needed info and display updating for many years now.

never know theres an update intil i open the app to use my bus pass. doesnt have option to bypass update tempprarily so i can use my pass to get on the bus first. thats a problem considering 60% of bus drivers have attitude problems, and wont let you on without showing the pass. so i either have to pay for another fare after i already did in the app, or get left. very irritating.

Locked my out for no reason 😒, saying there was to many phones on the account. When there was only one phone it is on. On top of that it told my to call a number when I did they gave me an email (so that call was a waste of my time being I had somewhere to go) I've email and still didn't hear back.

The app was nice until my account was suspended without notice or reason last year. Customer service told me someone was going to call me and figure out the issue but the call never came. Its been a year now and the account is still suspended. RTA will take your money but they do not care about their riders

App claims to have routes and schedule but it just opens a browser to the website. Ridiculous. 12/10 update claims to have fixed issues. Surprise, absolutely Nothing has changed.

I love the app. I use it for one thing and that is a bus ride. Google map take care of the rest for me. Need to add student pass cause most kids carry phone. I change phone, kept my number and sim card and it continue to work. Good so far.
