Best solver ever it really helps me solve my rubiks cube and will really help me learn how to do it off by heart:-) best app ever for the rubiks cube try it out peoples. But the only thing is when u take a photo it doesnt notice the colours on your cube but I fine that alright.
Every time I've used this app it's worked.It's a great app and totally worth the memory.The only 2 downsides to this app is the camera.It's almost impossible to take a picture of your cube and it takes forever to use the manual input.The over one is you can't really tell the different sections so I hope the creators can add thicker lines so you can tell the different sections easier but overwise it's a great app.😁😁😁😁😁
Use this solver because it helped me solve and learn how to solve the rubix cube. Use this app not the other ones out there. minor thing, you can use the camera but it can't tell red or orange, blue or green, or yellow and white. So please update this and please add other puzzles like megaminx, pyraminx, or 2x2 -13x13. 😁Please install this awesome app
So, I got a rubiks cube and regret mixing it up, it took me hours to find a solution, and then I found this app. I manually put the colors in the app. After that I put the algorithms that I got and solved it in 15 min, I was so happy,but I don't recommend this for speed because you have to take a while to solve it in the app. THISS APP IS AWESOME, 5 STARS
Not being able to fix my Rubix's Cube has been driving me crazy. This app solved it for me. My only complaint is that there isn't enough contrast between yellow and green so colorblind users like me will have to pay extra attention to those pieces when solving.
Works perfectly. The camera entry does work, you simply have to calibrate the colors first. In options, select camera mode then focus the center on the color of your cube, if it doesn't look exact don't worry because that's how the camera sees it. Now do this for all sides and your camera will detect the colors of a scrambled cube. As for which sides to picture first, always film the top of the cube. When it shows you in app what to do next, the yellow highlighted side is the one you will film next. Good luck
The app is awesome and always gets it right when I put in my cube. But the only flaw it has is that when I take a picture( even with good light ) get the colors wrong. Sometimes it does awesome sometimes. Its not even close. Other than that it's great not a ton of adds witch is great!!
I think it was great. I did it manually because ik that the camera doesnt really work well. it was not that hard this was my first time using this app and i did good my first time i finished it in 5 mins using this app. but what you need to add is that its ritten turn left top instead of R' that would be helpful. and the camera while i was looking threw the revies comments. but if u can please means pretty please add tis in apple because i LOVED THIS.i just wanted to say good job making this app i can tell u didsome good process in it. and u also need to add that if you are at that point when it saids to turn the cube please add in a new thing where it saids to turn the cube left or right or up or down that would be helpful too.
I scanned my Rubik's cube and followed all the turns, but at the end the cube on the the screen was solved, but not my physical cube. Would rate better if the cube on the screen wasn't just filled in correctly bit by bit and it actually followed the algorithm shown below said virtual cube. I even tried a second time, and about a fourth if the way through, my cube looked nothing like the cube on the screen. Please, please fix this...
I loved it, it will eather take a picture (with trouble for me) or it will let you place a color on a "cube " layout and include easy instructions. Later... I am a ninja at the manual fill-in, somebody teach me how to learn the other kind of solving instructions (not the opistic)
The app alters the regular camera function by stretching out the image like a funhouse mirror. This makes it impossible to line up the squares of your cube to the camera function of the app. A cool concept, but the app's primary feature is not currently available for all devices.
Days after days I was buried in my Rubik's Cube, with no solution coming to mind. And then I downloaded this app. 2 hours later, I am turning and twisting my cube like a pro. This app gives information on tons of algorithms, using pictures and codes to explain everything. When you put the colors on the net, it gives you step-by-step instructions on how to solve it. If you are desperate to solve your cube and want it done quickly, this app is the way to go
I love this app, it is very helpful and also fun to test. Once I muddled my Rubik's cube up continuously for an entire week and it was able to solve it in less than a minute. However, instructions take a while to get the hang of, could do better on that. An update that will make this app 100% 5 stars will be if you can make it so in manual input people can put in what their Rubik's cube looks like AND what they want it to look like. But, still 5/5 stars! 😃😃. P.S. don't use Fredrich solution, use optimal!
Works very well! My cube was a bit different to the default and I checked if there was an option to change them and there was! Very smart, works well. Only problem is, the camera is stretched when I try to take a pic of my cube. The step to rotate your cube should have colour so I know what side im actually supposed to rotate. Other than that, great! I dont like using the camera option anyway so 5 stars!
Good and easy to follow solution. Frederick's solution give a "like a pro" feeling. If any improvement suggestion, it will be visualisation on how rubic is rotated in "dummy" version, e.g. 3D; and colour recognition sometimes doesn't recognize correctly.
Its a little tough to get used to the way the cube is set up, it'd be nice if the developer had an actual 3d model option we could use in order to solve the cube in another fashion. But this is cool too. :)
It's a great solver. My only gripe is that the camera capture doesn't ever work and I need to enter the cube faces manually into the solver. Would be 5 stars if that worked. Thanks for a great app!
It took me forever to figure out how to use the app. The camera feature doesn't work the best on my device it seems to have a hard time with the yellow from white. It also doesn't explain how to hold the cube when solving but you hold whatever is on top of the sideways cross diagram on top and whatever is in the middle in front which seems self explanatory but I kept trying to put the middle of the diagram on top. The app is great just for the algorithms since I am just now learning this (Fridrich) method.
The instructions are hard to follow when taking a picture. I thought I did it right but the picture reading was so inaccurate... my verdict is 3.5 stars. But I rounded it to 4 stars because it works as intended. Even though it would be nice if it knew when you twisted the cube's corners accidentally. I tested it once and it told me to do a bunch of moves that didn't solve the cube for obvious reasons. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it includes algorithms!
Remember to calibrate the colours and it works, though due to my cube having pastel colours it will sometimes not recognise few pieces. Works great for solving, would be better if had few options in the forms of other methods to help learning to solve
Fridrich is difficult to follow. Optimal Solve has no instructions. I have edited my review up a star (to 4) because I have had pretty good results with the Optimal Solver using the arrows to show which turns to make. Here's how: Enter the state of your cube. Go to Optimal and use turns. Hold your cube like the indicated color in the flattened out cube, but you must be looking at the side with that color on the CENTER of the face. Orient the cube to match the pattern above. Do the turn. Go to next. Voila!
It helps a lot but please fix the problem with the wrong colors when you drag a picture. Fix this and you'll get 5 stars.
I tried it like 20 times and made it worse. It's literally better to throw the old one in the trash and buy a new one. I did
This is the best app to solve stuck position in rubic cube. Very helpful for beginners.. Very simple. Now anyone can solve rubic cube easily.. Very good app loved it

It did not solve my cube. I tried it 4 times and its camera doesnt work. In the algorithm it says w a lot. I hate this app and it scrambled my cube evn more
It took me a few tries to get it right, had to use the manual input to solve my cube. The camera input either didn't detect the difference between red and orange or didn't seem to give clear instructions on which side of the cube I should have taken pictures of. I know these are rather minor issues, but to me it's what separates an amazing app from a perfect app. I still love this app, but I just want it to be just a little bit better in order to be a perfect app.
