Rubio's

Usually works fine but is currently telling me my order can't go through because the restaurant is closed. I'm parked at the store and it's very open. But of course my coupon only works if you order through the app. Dumb.

I do enjoy ordering from the app and the customization options are great. However, I would like to see them add a couple features before I give it 5 stars. First, I really would like to be able to pay with a gift card. It's disappointing this isn't a feature. Secondly, when they have their rewards offers, i.e. "visit 5 times in October to earn a reward" I would like to be able to track that.

Ugh! Functional, but useless. The app doesn't always have the right menu items (some restaurants carry different items, but not always available on the app). I ALWAYS have to re-enter my credit card info, even though it is STORED (that's an available option, yet doesn't work!!!!!). I've uninstalled and then installed again, but that's not the issue. This app is TERRIBLE.

The app was a 3/5 while ordering, then I got to my local Rubios and discovered all online orders had not been made. Long story short, I had to get a refund (which sucks because I really wanted that burrito) and drive through a faster place. I wish the app was integrated with Google Pay so I can avoid storing my credit card in yet another app. I wish I could say "light" or "extra" in addition to "all" or "none." It makes a difference. Maybe this will come in a later version. (see Panera)

The app just lost a star. I continue to have issues with the app not being able to use my saved payment method. Every time I use the app the payment method is invalid and I have to add my card again. Scanning the barcode from coupons is better, but seems to need a specific distance from the phone to be recognized. If it's not at the right distance when the camera first starts, it won't be recognized.

Just installed app... tried to scan the qr code to get points. App says it's invalid because the receipt is over 48 hours old.. so either the app is also a time travel device and sent me ahead on time several days or it's broken.

I would like to use this app but I can't. I like double protein with my bowls. There isn't an option for that so I can't order that. Please add the option for double protein. I like salmon with shrimp, thanks.

I ordered delivery thru the app. They missed an item from my order. When I called the store, they told me they randomly choose a third party (Grub hub, etc) and they couldn't tell me which service delivered my food. My only option was to come pick up the forgotten item myself, totally negating the benefit of ordering delivery. Zero accountability from Rubio's on fixing this mistake. You are better off ordering thru a third party directly, at least they would fix it themselves.

Like the restaurant, not the app and rewards program though. I keep getting emails that there are offers in the app, then none show there. UPDATE - my adblocker is stopping their tracker. I don't have to disable it for any other app so foru now lowering to 1 star as it won't work and shouldn't be tracking beyond what they already get in app - which is plenty. Btw, appsupport doesn't read what you send them and they'll tell you it doesn't sound right or they know it can be frustrating.

Can't customize if you order through app. Deals and everything work well. But the app doesn't let you customize any items. A rather big downside. Say you're allergic to something or you really hate a certain sauce that ruins the dish for you, you just can't order through the app ahead of time.

Notification text is cut off. I can't read what you're trying to tell me. Doesn't remember my cart, so when I switched to another app and switched back, I had to recreate my order and ordered the wrong thing. It's easier to order food elsewhere, so the app is so broken that it causes Rubio's to lose business.

I was super excited to see that Rubio's finally had an app! I signed up and was eligible for a free taco! It's very confusing how to apply your reward (you have to apply it during checkout if using the app). I went to pay via the app and there's no way too apply your card! You enter the information and the only option is to click "back" which doesn't save your card information. So even though I have this app, I still had to call in my order. Please add a "save" feature so your card is saved.

been waiting for this for a long time. super happy it is here. it works like most other foods apps which is great. it was easy and straight forward to use. There are only 2 improvements I would like. 1 to have a break down of the calories range. that would help quite a bit. not sure why the item ranges between 550 and 710 kcals. I would prefer the one with 550. also how do I customize? lastly the pictures are Tiny and only get bigger if you click on it. Overall great job!

Garbage deals. I've had the app for a few months and while it does give you a few good deals in the beginning, it just trickles random coupons at you after the initial burst. Scanning receipts gives you nothing. There's no clear rewards system like Starbucks has. The thing is just a deceptive ad that you install on your phone.

The best ordering app is worthless if there are no restaurants near you that will take an order from it. There are two Rubio's within 10 miles of my home. Unfortunately, neither one works with this app. The closest Rubio's that I can order from is over 30 miles away. Rubio's, perhaps you should've gotten more (or all) of your restaurants online before rolling out this app. It's worthless, at least for me.

Easy straight forward. I wish there was a note area. Example: no utensils

Allows you to fully customize every menu item (hold the chipotle white sauce, add sliced avocado, etc). And once you customize your order, you can save it and give it a name for easy ordering next time. My orders are always ready in 10-15 min from hitting the checkout button.

Lacks savings or real rewards build up. Only gives you 1 free taco for sign up and that's it. Would be awesome if they had more exclusive coupons or savings for those that downloaded the app. Lacks motivation to continue using app or going into a location often. Needs lots of work.

You may not be able to order seasonal items through the menu. I just received a notification for $2 off a seasonal item that they no longer offer. There is no indication how rewards even work. This app is just going to take up space on your device.

Requires an internet connection to redeem coupons. Just a way for them to con you into thinking you're getting a good deal. Two of the locations we go to don't have cell signal and no wifi is offered so you can't use the coupons. And now they have to audacity to ask for a tip when the cashiers won't honor the $10 coupon.

It gets annoying that I have to keep retyping the same credit card due to a invalid billing account bug that keeps happening. For some reason, the app does not want to save your card for future use. So you'll end up retyping every time you make an order

Completely useless app. Can't search for locations based on zip code and when you click to start a pick up order, it does nothing. Uninstalling after installing it 5 mins ago. Waste of time. I'm so irked, we are going to Cafe Rio instead.

I love Rubios, but this ad is useless for discounts. I keep getting ads for food discounts. It tells me to go to the app, but the coupons aren't there. I rarely pre-order, so this app is a waste.

The app works pretty well. Place your order and within minutes the food is waiting fit you at the front of the restaurant. The rewards are awesome! Rubios has a good food and service! Definitely recommend this app!

Downloaded app. Seems straightforward. I prefer to order in store. Probably won't use it until the rewards part of the app is added. There's no place to enter info from a receipt. That should be added when the rewards part of the app is available.

Frustrating experience. If you navigate away from the app at any time, the app forgets your entire order and you have to start over from scratch. It's obvious the developers do not use the app. Can't count how many times I have had this happen.

This app has potential but needs some fine tuning. Didn't get a receipt with 1st order, didn't get my free taco but my coupon disappeared from the app. Why can't the app give you a itemized receipt? Received notice my order was complete about 5 minutes after I left Rubio's. Will try this a few more times, it needs to improve.

Love Rubio's, but not so much your app! I'm never able to check in with the app, there is always an error and I have to manually enter my receipt at the table. Last month I had a birthday offer I couldn't use because it wouldn't open in your restaurant.

New customer. Very difficult to use this app. Issues with everything. Sign up glitches, delivery scheduling issues, never got to payment. Will try again another time, or abandon this restaurant altogether.

App works alright. Sometimes have to tap button several times to get a response. Great food. Friendly service. Don't order on Taco Tuesday unless you can wait 30-40 minutes for your food. Don't order on Cinco de Mayo unless you can wait an hour. Any other day, service is quick, accurate, and very tasty!
