Rugby Nations 19

Started out great but I have spent alot of money on this game and everytime I start it now it takes my energy bars away and force closes. Please fix and respond back Please and thank you. Look forward to hopefully being able to Plat again and get reimbursed for the energy blocks that have been taken from me.

It's a fun rugby game but is quite infuriatingly incorrect in so many different aspects one of which is that once you have and account on rn19 you can't keep it on rn22 Also there should be more research done on the players and teams actual abilities and less of putting lions starters on the bench behind trash club players Thx

I've enjoyed playing the game, especially as it's free (though the ads are becoming more frequent and unavoidable). It's generally well designed with decent gameplay and team management. Unfortunately, offsides aren't included. The most annoying thing is that I'm playing in a Pacific league, which mostly includes teams from England and France (northern hemisphere based developers with a lack of research, or just appalling geography knowledge?).

A good game but would recommend a few improvements. I would like to see actual positions rather than just forwards and backs. I'd also like to see an option to choose a formation when at the back of the ruck, like deep, or flat, or clearance kick. A training game option would also be good, to test out different tactics. Also, an option of when to put the ball down over the try line would be good! Finally, matching skin colours to the players would be good, too. Overall a good, fun game though!

This is the best rugby app I have played and I love it. It makes me crazy sometimes, especially when I defend 7,8,9 times and the opposition just marches down the field and scores, then I get the ball and 1 or 2 tackles and boom...turn over. I've been playing a long time and I am pretty successful... I am in the all-star league with 9 trophies an 3 plates, so this is not an inexperienced user issue. It just makes me mad as heck when the game doesn't seem to want to play fair.

I like the game. It's fun, but it can use lots of improvements. First thing the energy. Only three games then you have to wait for the energy to refill again?? Please work on the passes and offloading, it's really frustrating. When you kick out inside the 22 you still come back to the 22 for line out, that's not accurate at all. Also I notice that the game likes to bug out at scrums.

Not bad, but I'm missing a few things. Like maybe a "train-on-field" option and pre-programmed moves from set pieces. And why can we only play 3 matches at a time? Let us play man!!! Also, these new fingers pointing out what to do is irritating. I missed a few tries thanks to this. Rather use it in a tutorial and let us play normal games from there.

Very good, super fun, challenging bots but when ever the time goes (half time, full time) the bots kick it out no matter what, even if they are going to score, I wish if they were losing that they would keep playing to try a d win and if they were winning that they would kick it out. Over all it is very good, you can name your team, choose the Jersey colours, it has good controls. And I wish there was a button to place the ball for a try because sometimes I would like to run closer to the middle

I have been playing this game for over a year and it has been brilliant. Especially because of the withdrawal symptoms I had from lack of actual rugby matches during the pandemic. Yes, the gameplay is sometimes awful, but if you keep playing and keep building up that team it gets easier and easier and you get more used to the oddities of the gameplay. Credit to the developers, with a few tweaks this game could be the best rugby game ever made.

Lots of fun, enjoy the fact you can build a team over plenty of seasons. Game sometimes crashes during a scrum or lineout but this doesn't happen too often and quitting doesn't mean you forfeit the game, although its annoying if you're in the lead!! Penalty awards seem arbitrary as well, and offside doesn't exist so you have to take advantage of that.

Frustrating. There seems to be no reason when handover occurs. I have had 8 on 2 in a ruck and not got the ball, and on another occasion one take and it changes. Scrum is a lost cause as no matter how fast I swipe my bar just sits still. Playing against any team within 10 points of you results in a loss. I have kicked off and tackled for a while half, not touched the ball and conceded 2 tries. I am persevering but feel it could be better.

Once you get to the top stages( elite and all star) it becomes almost impossible to win against the AI not because they have a better gameplay but because the system has been programmed to win at all costs. Forwards are given in plain sight, there's no sort of offside rule, your players will be made to throw the ball outside for a penalty to the opposing team. Also sort the issue of turn overs in the next edition because it's discouraging to be turned over quite easily unlike for the AI

Really enjoyed this game - now the crash-on-startup issue has been fixed I'm happy to give it 5*. The controls take some getting used to, but they're instinctive with practice - rugby is a complex sport so it takes a complex set of controls to capture all aspects, and overall it's very playable. Challenges are well-set so there's plenty of longevity.

At first a great game. Good gameplay and graphics and a cool structure. My main issue is the further you get into the leagues the teams get unplayable. It's a mixture of they can now do superhuman plays and the game makes you do stupid mistakes that never happened in the earlier leagues. For example my team just decided not to have a blindside when ever both us or the opposition were in a try scoring position. Silly programming errors ruin a potentially good game.

While the game is decent it could be significantly improved. Ie change game tactics, formation, ability to instruct players to push opposition out of bounds, implement red and yellow cards that will actually be used. The game is currently very straightforward and gets boring quickly. Additionally the opponent make no sense, will kick the ball out when they are meters from the try zone to end the game.

Better rugby than I'd expect on mobile, but still has issues. PROS: good graphics, nicely matches the rhythm of rugby, roster management is simple & fun. Clock is sped up so you aren't stuck with 80 minutes of play each match. CONS: clock is sped up *too much.* Evenly-matched teams will each get maybe two possessions per half. Too many 7-0 or 0-0 results. Can't change clock speed. "Joystick" tries to follow your finger, nice idea but too often it shifts and ruins your control of the player.

Plays really well on a g8plus phone. Great concept, good, intuitive game play for most things. The 3 stars is that the computer team wins nearly every game in 40th or 80th minute, often thru a penalty or you passing to them when you're not playing a pass. Frequently as you get close to their goalline they win turnover. So frustrating because it's predictable and all to entice you to spend money, to get better players. No training option for lineouts scrums or kicking, you learn the hard way.

Love this game, easy to use controls and the pack system is great for getting players. Six Nations and World Cup is a lot of fun, but gets boring after a while. Would love to see a multiplayer mode or some club rugby tournaments like the upcoming new Pro18 with some Euro clubs and the South African Clubs. Just an added game mode would be great. Still love the game though.

Very good game with lots of potential. Some bits annoy me though, such as the AI never miss a conversion, even if they are an awful player from a horrible angle. Also way too many notifications, and there's no way to turn them off. I think I would also benefit from a practice mode, because I'm still awful at scrums and lineouts, which don't happen often in the game. But, all in all, I like where the game is going and I hope it continues to go in that direction.

The game is fine. It's a nice quick ten minute blast of fun but be prepared to get frustrated at some really poor gameplay. The microtransactions and ads are one thing, but the actual mechanics are frustrating. Passing is often erratic, sometimes you'll hit the player, sometimes it sails right past them for no reason. The breakdown is the worst part, with turnovers seemingly random. Furiously mashing "Add Player" does nothing and it's honestly the most frustrating part of the game.

Promising but flawed. No explanation that I can find of how the statistics influence the game. I have played teams with much lower rating but they smash through my tackles with ease and win. The breakdown is my biggest issue as it is incredibly hard to win a turnover but the other team do it regularly. I quite like the lineout and scrum system. It is famously hard to convert rugby into a decent 'video game' but if the developers can address the breakdown issue they will be on the way.

I have been playing for a number of weeks now and find it to be an improved installment in the Rugby Nations series, but there are still a lot of issues to be worked on. There are some features in previous versions of the game that should've been carried on in my opinion such as the option to change from attacking neutral and defensive play, match duration is another niggle, I feel the games do not last long enough. There however a few good dynamics too This is a mobile game after all.

This has great game visuals & the game is exciting too. The controls are easy to use, hand shortcuts are really easy to master too. Niggles: 1) we need an offside penalty 2) glitches at scrums 3) pitch flip at lineouts rare but happens. Could be fun to have a manager option which could impact the team if you don't handle it well or up a players max potential. I'd love a customise player and create club crest option. If we could have a few more shirt designs that would be awesome too.

Each player should have the original position in their description. Also injuries should come as a result of tiredness as was the cas in the previous versions. Not randomly. You can have a player on the bench the whole game and he can still be injured which doesn't make sense. Also bot teams kick the ball out imediatly after halftime is off, even though they are 5m out, if they are more than 7points behind. It kind of makes sense when the final whistle goes off, but not at halftime

Should be 4 or 5 star but there are things that need fixed, turnovers for one, higher leagues you barely get the ball back once opponent has it, no matter how many times you ruck, scrum etc, or if you have higher rated players, it doesn't seem to matter... Also it glitching at set-plays, having to quit and re-start is annoying. And injuries, best players get injured constantly... should be able to trade any players you want for stats not just players you get in packs.
