Rugby World Cup 2019

Would really like to be able to follow more than one team in this app. I'm in the USA little access to timely and reliable rugby information. I'm a big fan of Wales & Scotland (tied for my favorite teams), Ireland (2nd), England (3rd), and then the USA team. All these countries make up my family ancestry.

Inaccurate scores, team members missing from squads, odd navigation, it feels a bit thrown together. An example of odd navigation, click on Teams and you get no info about the squad. Click on Pools then teams and you get it. Surely it should be the same Teams page. Example of team members missing, how about the Welsh captain? Pretty poor. Update, the players are there, just can't see them, not displaying properly.

Great app. Loving the content. Videos are neat but would like to see more of the off the field vids. Send them in teams. We're a few games in now and I can't get the predictor to work for me. Keeps asking for a log in when I backpage out. Elma is fun but she needs a Japanese side kick to go next level. Just updated and hope that fixes the predictor.

The bugs in the app where scoring is concerned is a deal breaker! The main reason for this app (as a user) is to keep up to date with results. If that's not working properly, then the app becomes redundant. Every game I've checked for scores on has had the result wrong... :(

Compared to an app like rugby union this app is poor. The focus seems to be on news rather than match results and stats. There are a lot of things they could have done better update: I've just updated the app. Much better. Still a bug in the articles with black screen covering the write up.

Keep getting match notifications. I go into the settings and turn them off. A few hours later I receive more notifications - it turned notifications back on. I have tried multiple times to turn them off, very annoying when trying to sleep! Uninstalling.

I'm in England but being half-kiwi am a lifelong All Blacks supporter. Because I opted to support the ABs all of my fixtures show NZ time & are now auto-synced to my calendar on NZ time with no option to change this. It's beyond frustrating! This should be an option! The question asked when I first opened the app was 'what country are you interested in' (or similar), not 'where do you live'! Other than that, great info and content, looking forward to using it properly throughout the tournament

Notifications keep turning themselves back on. I've turned them off three times now, yet continued to receive the notifications. When you go back into settings they are turned back on each time. Very annoying when you are working shifts and don't want to receive these.

Good app - apart from the notifications. There are on/off sliders for notifications but they seem to have no effect. I have turned them off but I still get results sent through, which is annoying when I've recorded a match to watch later.

Excellent app! Very complete, with all info about the games, the results, highlights of the games... And even more since it gives you tips about Japan (etiquette + words and definition...) and a description of the cities + venues!! Everything to have a good time over there! Really good app!

WARNING: This app resets your notification settings to be turned on. Twice now it has sent me spoilers as soon as games end even though I have turned all notifications off. Its otherwise a great app and I would rate it four stars, but I'm afraid this is an embarrassing cardinal sin for any sports app and I have no choice but to uninstall it.

A lot of the time, when showing the matches scores, it switches the teams around. It's happened a few times without me realising and I've been very confused when I saw the actual score later. Its the main reason I installed the app and it can't get that right.

Great app but NOTIFICATION HELL. There seem to only be two controls for notifications. I've turned off General notifications twice and both times it seems to have turned itself back on. I wouldn't mind but I'm getting bombarded with the most banal alerts. Don't treat your users like this.

Too much info. on a page. Headlines of articles too long, making them unattractive. I will only use the app. for results, fixtures and tables, if they are easy to navigate through. I am using and will use sport websites for news and updates. Very disappointed.

The bracket feature is wrong. The actual draw differs from what the app shows. Taking pool B as an example, the two top teams if they win all their matches should meet again in the final. The app shows the teams meeting up in the semi final

Way too many notifications. Had to go into my phone's general settings to block the notifications because they get re-enabled if you turn them off within the app itself. Also, the group tables show the teams in reverse order, so the group leaders are at the bottom

This app when released griped me a lot. The team have done a fantastic job with updates and it works far better than anything else I've ever used for sport updates. A proper showcase in how to present information on a logical format, with navigation that is sensible and fluid. Kudos to the development team on this one.

Two of the most important matches are not shown under "matches". They're under "results". (Eng-France & NZ-Italy). Poor show in the circumstances. Also, scores were frequently given the wrong way around. Otherwise it's a comprehensive app.

Can't turn off notifications. When you deselect the notifications, as soon as you close the app they get turned on again! Frustrating when they send you scores of matches you hadn't had a chance to watch yet.

Pretty darned good.. Clean, stable, etc... good content including hq video. Seems to be improving still too... Current score now been added on (txt) Commentary, but rather than local time (or as well as), could we have match time (mins gone). This also makes reading back up post-match a bit more engaging. But still, it IS good, thanks!

I would rate it a lot higher if the app would stop with the non-stop notifications outside of the app. There are 2 settings you can 'turn off' in the app, however, it doesn't save once you do it.

Loading data failed. Edit. This seems to have been fixed.. New problem:- Now if you turn notifications off it won't remember that setting. Next time you open the app the notifications are switched to on again. App updated one month after the tournament. Hope England can win this time. 🙂

Nice layout and info but app keeps resetting notifications to be automatically on. I keep getting woken up by news notifications that I've already turned on. Opening the app, I see the notifications have reset themselves to be on. Android.

I love this app ok the score was wrong once , so what ? all the videos load and work and you also have the option to have alerts for your favourite team.Some people have said you can only pick 1 favourite, but I thought you could only have 1 favourite in anything. Overall I find it's a very good rugby app and i recommend it.

Too buggy, and bugs not repaired, no updates. Gives incorrect scores, mixed up the winning and losing side on some screens but not others. Always resets notification to ON whenever the app is restarted. See other reviews for more bugs.

Interesting app but too many bugs like the stats of the match that are not updated. E.g. Japan-South Africa, 2 tries, 1 conversion, 1 penalty (15 points) when South Africa scored 26! The same bug affected ALL MATCHES.

Very cool app, except I have a problem in the match predictor, I have selected a player to score the first try, now the player isn't playing and I'm unable to update, choosing another player doesn't do anything. Other matches it's been easy to change

Video highlights, interviews, match predictions and player stats..so it is all there to be a fantastic resource for RWC2019. Basic information like match result scores are wrong, however. A shame really.
