1st of all this app asks to rate as soon as you get past the ads. I haven't even used it yet. I know small complaints about the ad whatever but how you rate something you haven't used yet?! Next I download this app to measure but you can't because you have to download another app to make it work.... no thank you. Create an app that has everything I need to use your app.
You have to download other apps to use any of the tools. They also want you to sign up for pro right off the bat. Feels scammy.
Terrible app, not user intuitive, better to just use a laser measurement device and will be cheaper! Deceptive registration where after you finish the free trial there is no interface on the app to cancel your subscription before they charge you in three days. Tip: cancel in your Google play app. Don't install!!
Tried to use it with free trial, it immediately forced me to start installing other apps for any of the functionality it described then locked me on a rate screen I couldn't exit without turning off the app. Desperate and sad! Congrats on one of my few app reviews team!
Required a second download which was complete in total garbage. Absolutely not user friendly. They have been emailed within 10 minutes of installation that I am canceling any subscription and I am well within the trial. They have been notified
Does not do as advertised. Immediately asks for a payment. After you cancel it tells you that this app does not have that feature and tells you to use a different app.
Actually nothing works except simplest onscreen ruler. AR part is "not compatible with your device" and measure by photo can't take picture. Right from start the app wants you to subscribe on paid version and it's not easy to undestand how to skip it. It also not possible to skip app evaluation on play market, so this is the result.
Garbage!!!!!! And they want so much money for the plan ??? Worst app different results on the same object everytime. Even thought I got perfect lighting and its just straight plank of wood which is 80cm the app said it is 340cm 🙄 and then 234cm.....etc. different results every time on the same easy object.
You lost me at 3 day free trial followed by a subscription of $33/yr. Didn't even test the app since it won't allow it until I accept the terms. I guess you're expecting people to forget to cancel within the first 3 days and get charged for the whole year? Maybe try a shorter length period and people might purchase it?
Very bad app, nothing work unless you install AR component which is not compatible with my device.
I guess ads make money but very annoying. Never got to actually use the app. Waste of time!
Dont install unless you want to get billed for a year of service. I installed this app, I wasnt what I was looking for, the app entered the free trial period while trying to "X" out if it. 3 days later money is missing from my acct.
Very bad experience..only can't measure object length.. only time waste..this recomand to lots of other apps
You only get 3 days free trial. I don't understand why I need to download a second app just to take measurements. I am uninstalling. They also immediately ask for your subscription the minute u open the app to use. Don't recommend anyone to download this app.
Absolute garbage app. Showed 3 ads, wanted a premium subscription, and asked me to rate it before showing a ruler. Then, it required another download to actually measure via photo. Skip this $ grab junk.
True to size. Three inches at a time. Ads are annoying.
Nice app. Ruler is by the side of the phone which makes it easy for everyone.
This is a useless app. It is the front-end to 4 other apps that you must purchase. Dont be fooled, like I was.
I'm surprised by how good this app is, considering so many users gave it 1 star. Of course, most of those don't give a reason, and things like "Worst app" or "Horrible" aren't helpful at all. Once you figure out how to properly use this app, which only takes a few minutes, it's actually very accurate in all the different modes. Choosing inches/feet instead of cm/meters is easy. The AR measuring, which is the biggest feature, was very responsive and accurate within an inch or two in my tests measuring the rooms in my home and my front porch. The only cons I have are it sometimes takes several seconds to detect a plane, and I get an error when trying to save the measurements as a photo. Otherwise it's a decent app that could prove useful in certain situations.
What? This doesn't really measure anything, but just gives you a ruler on the screen. You can annotate pictures but the UI is very annoying and keeps locking objects into position. I also have not found how to measure something on the picture - instead it asks you to put in the numbers yourself. For AR measurement it just switches to the Google apps. And it forces you to give a review right at the beginning with no option for doing it later...
Bit of a learning Curve but works great!
I signed up to a free trial and they charged me a full year's subscription 2 days later.
Great little app. Easy to use and measurements are relatively accurate.
I think it's really stupid that they have to charge for such a simple thing a roller is a utility you buy it once in the store and you use it you don't get charged $10 a month to use it when you have already paid two or three dollars for the initial item 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Horrible app, SUPER spammy. Ads galore and you have to install other features to make it useful, which means more ads! Uninstalled.
Subscription for a ruler? And it wasn't in any way accurate. When an app requires you to rate it before using it, run.
As others have noted, this app is merely a wrapper around 4 others. Plus, all of the "add on" apps either don't work at all or have such a counterintuitive UI that it isn't clear how to make them work. Also, the app forces you to rate it before you've used it enough to decide on a rating, and it won't let you continue using it until you do. Also was forced to buy a subscription for a year, so I've pretty much lost $20. Very, very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Never worked 😕Last 2 features needed additional downloads - but those were not compatible with my phone. Ok, tried the reference one instead. Took a picture of my cutting board to test it. I put the long side of my debit card alongside it. I adjusted the length of the card, checked the checkmark ✔️to measure, or at least go to the next step, but it did nothing. Tried it again, and nothing again.
It's much better than the other app. The phone can't use AR since it's not compatible but the Photoruler is just fine. The only problem is entering Value is just giving it a name, would be better instead to make the shapes get exact size and then compare it with other things in the picture.
