Rummy 7

Rummy 7 is the replacement for our popular earlier Rummy app, which had over 80,000 downloads. This version has several significant changes:

- improved graphics, including animation of all card moves;
- slide or tap interface for card moves;
- play someone else in Play and Pass mode, as well as play the system.

For those familiar with Rummy, this is a simplified 7-card version (rather than the usual 10 cards used for 2 players) with the following characteristics:

- the game is not played for points - just to be the first to achieve a 3-card and a 4-card meld;
- no melds are shown until the end of the game;
- Ace counts as high or low, but runs cannot include high and low: A, 2, 3 or Q, K, A are acceptable melds, but K, A, 2 is not;
- a card selected from the top of the discard pile cannot immediately be discarded;
- after the last card has been taken from the stockpile, a new stockpile is formed by taking all but the top card from the discard pile and shuffling them.

When playing the system, you can choose 4 memory levels for the system.

When playing an opponent, players pass the device to their opponent once their own move is completed. One plays as Red, the other as Blue, but each player sees their own hand at the bottom, with the opponent's hand at the top.

No internet connection is required, so the app can be used anywhere, even on a plane, train or car where no internet connection is available.

The app is also available from i.compactfun.com if you cannot download from the Play Store. A web-based version that can be played on most browsers is also there.

Weird little game. Never played rummy where you didn't lay down your sets. Can only grab the top card off the discard. Don't mind the older graphics but everything moves very slow.

Why does the computer win almost every time? I get nothing in my hands and basically every card I put down the computer picks up and pulls it's winning card 6 cards into the game even on easy

Been looking for a game like this a long time. If it had options that would be icing on the cake. Ex: change color of cards and background, be able to flip thru cards after win, Challenges.

A nice classic card game, keeps it simple.
