This app is better than their riding app which they should never have even bothered to produce, but if you use this app for riding it will still disappoint you. I was over halfway through my ride when I paused the app for a quick stop. Upon restarting the app IT RESET TO ZERO without me realizing it. I have been using this app for months and this has NEVER happened before. You have to hold done the red button for it to finish out your ride and leave your notes, but there was nothing. My entire ride was gone. I have the vocals on so I hear everything the app does and it said NOTHING. I had NO IDEA how far I was from home or how much further I could go before I needed to turn around because I ride to clear my head and i thought I could trust the app, but YOU CANNOT and I underestimated how far I was from home. I had nothing for energy, but I did make it home. This app started out as problems because I guess the reason it is free is so they can pilfer through your phone for info they want. I was also very upset when I thought I was posted personal notes about my ride and energy levels only to find out it was broadcasted to every user on the app as a default. I read some other people's notes on their workouts and I don't think they know that either unless this app is the new TInder or Grinder because I would be SO embarassed. Oh, and I also forgot the day the vocals didn't work. I thought fine I'll just keep checking the screen, but that day on a new route I ended up so far from home I was lucky a friend of mine happened to see me on the road and asked me if I wanted a ride which I gladly took. If you need DRAMA and STRESS in your life with an undependable app this is the app for you!!! I have no idea what's going on with this and it's not because of where I live or my phone or my cell service because each thing was like a one time glitch. The problem is there have been 3 completely different glitches along with some programming conditions, so this is no longer the app for me. I would have given it 2 stars because I didn't like it, but after recounting EVERYTHING I have been through with it I am really mad that I put up with so much and didn't stop using it sooner. Today was just the icing on the cake.

Easy to use and will tell you quite a bit of information, even as a free app. The paid app has more feedback options as you are running/walking and it includes useful training programs. Accuracy isn't 100% on distance, and other apps count calories burned differently - this app seems to say I burned more than Google Fit or MyFitnessPal ... but it is really close for a regular phone app. Ads in the free version do sometimes pop up as I am trying to press buttons but they aren't too invasive.

The buttons are more responsive now and the calculation of distance by GPS has improved. Much better than it used to be. Seems to have an incompatibility with Android 11 in that I have to log in every usage AND redo my settings. Surely a program shouldn't lose its settings each use.

Good to great app. Gets the job done. User friendly. Easy enough to get the hang of. Has reliable accuracy. Enough functions and features. There are others that folks may use and prefer. But you don't have to hang your head in shame or lower your gaze if choose/use Under Armour Map My Run or Map My Walk. For the most part they seem to do about and perform the same. Free version if you want to use, trial, or test will not "beat you down" with ads. Still good, useful, recommended. Your preferece

I really like this app. I use it for all my exercises. The one down side is that it seems to often give way too much credit for calories burned (for certain exercises). It would be helpful if it could sync directly with the Fitbit app and average out results between the two apps (or just defer to Fitbit).

Farcical. Absolute shell of the app it used to be. Doesn't work properly on a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 - the GPS won't work whatsoever. All previous challenges completed throughout the past years have now been deleted - very disappointing. My last manually logged workout hasn't even synced after almost an hour (the only reason I still manually log data is I had already started "You versus the Year" challenge and I wanted to complete it). So glad I moved to Strava which is superior in every way.

App seems to get quite confused when you add a pair of shoes before the old one express and doesn't extend MVP membership properly. Also not very good for interval sessions as far as I can tell, can't work out how you'd get it to do them. Would be good if the lock screen notification made it easy to pause and resume (bigger buttons) and if it could support some voice commands

They changed everything in the watch app, you barely can control something there. You need your phone for everything, you can't run without it. It's unbelievable that I have to have my phone in order for my watch work. What's the purpose in have an app for watch that JUST works if I have my phone connected? I upgraded my watch (I had Active 2 and now I have a galaxy 4) expecting in a better app (the older app stopped the upgrades about 2 years ago), but now it's even worse.

Am I missing something? There are only about 15activities to choose from? That's it? This is the most unintuitive app. Time to drop my premium membership if this the type of app being put out there. (EDIT) I've done all that. The list is extremely limited compared to the phone ap. You can't add them from the phone. The interface is weak and getting the controls to work is difficult. At best. Pausing, starting, stopping doesn't work easily. No wonder you took so long to release this. It is a shell of the phone or original Tizen app. So not ready for GA..

Horrible!! App is now under-reporting my mileage. Running the exact same path, there was a 1.5 mile difference between two runs. Very frustrated, knowing I cannot rely on the app. Also, stopped notifying me every mile how far I've run. Last run, I was first notified my distance/speed at mile 2, randomly at a turn around and sometime near the end (not at a normal mile complete notification). Ridiculous.

I've used this app for many years and have always liked it and felt that it was accurate. A while back I believe there was an update and since then I've missed the mileage "checkpoints" that used to be there. I don't like having to check my phone when running to find out where the half mile mark is in order to turn around. I've looked for it in the app sincd then to turn it back on and haven't been able to find it.

A good app. But there are still some problems. First, the app ALWAYS freeze on the logo when the 4G at the workout tab. Even more annoying, the app adds the distance and time when train traveling from place A and B after you pause the workout. You need to make a new one each time! Second, need stat for hydration. Lastly, organize our workout better with months and years like in Endomondo. Thanks! PS: Using Samsung galaxy A71. I have given feedback, plz fix the 4G issues. Endomondo was better!!!

Gave the time required to run but the GPS distance was way off. I did a 3.5km run (measured with Google maps and waze both came up with the same distance) and said it was 2.31km. The run is roughly 2.3 miles. I'm unsure if the app logged the run in miles and switched it to kilometers at the end which would be approximately accurate for the distance or just did not log a large portion of the run. Otherwise the app worked well for what I was using it for.

Just got my under armour hovr connected shoes (which included a free premium to mapmyrun) and I must say it's very useful to me as a beginner. I didn't realise that my stride length was too wide and that my cadence was a tad bit low. It's a good form cue for me. The premium app includes plans for 5k,10k, half marathon and marathon. It also has some strength programs but I will not use it as my strength training is mostly calisthenics. Overall definitely worth it, both shoes and app!

Love this app. It gives great analysis and let's me know my elevation, split pace, calories burned 🔥 (approximate). It also automatically tells you when you completed a mile, split pace, average times. That's just the free version. I'm sure you get awesome extras when you use the paid version.
