RunCam HD App

Everytime I make changes to cam parameters they refuse to save! I'm doing what the directions say by quiting app disconnect and reboot cam but it never sticks! So frustrated I have removed the useless app it is of no use if you can't save and get absolutely no help from runcam itself .

I can't connect my phone at all. And when I try to just use an SD card all it will let me do is update the firmware. Even after trying 4 different cables and reinstalling the app I still can't connect biggest waist of money I have ever spent I can't even get it to connect to my pc and it's brand new out of the box. I can power it up but it won't record.

The app won't connect to my Sony Experia Z3 compact, online app works fine as does the windows app. Realy need the phone app to works as well guys ! SO you need to take the chance if it works or not, if it does and is as the windows/online versions it will be great, juts the thing for in the field/travelling. Great camera too. . Also tried my "wiko ozzy" android it won't connect either !!! Spent £10 on a cable too !

hi,this did work until i updated the camera and now i cant connect my camera to my phone,the settings have changed now aswell so my camera wont stay on,every time i land it has switched off. This app is excellent when it works,i wish i didnt have to do an update

It works great on my old phone, but it doesn't request file access properly in marshmallow on my new phone. Marshmallow requires the user to approve access in addition to the app permissions.

Can't connect it

I connected it to my phone and downloaded the app and all it does is takes me to my files does not allow me to go on the Run can and set up anything.

New add on features available. But it is not connecting to smartphone after the update.

Everytime i connect the camera it says it need update, i went to online app updated it then reconnected to mobile app and still say i need update! Why?

Don't work with android 6 (marshmallow)

Works as advertised for the RunCam HD model on a Samsung GrandPrime phone with Android 5 system 👍👍

This app will not connect to my runcam HD. Nexus Media Importer will connect and read files from the camera, so hardware is all OK. So I have no way of changing the camera configuration offline please fix it

This is an awesome application! This really enhances using the RunCam in the field after a FPV race.

Super easy and convenient

Seems to be working so far. Easier to use than the pc software so will probably use this from now on to configure my camera until the windows version has the bugs ironed out.

use my android phone to setup my runcam hd, it is so convenient. one more reason for me to use runcam as my favorite FPV camera.

Easy to use apps with straight forward user interface makes its excellent must have tools for RUNCAM HD camera users who constantly need customization on their FPV camera when going outdoors without having to cling around with notebook. Had many Runcam HD fpv camera and plug in well without any problem. Awesome tool to have on my phone. Thanks RunCam,

The hardware of RunCam is outstanding. With this app, make it much easier to use. I like it.

Very convenient and intuitive. Truly a necessary tool for changing the runcam parameters in the field.

I downloaded this app and didn't work with RunCam 2. As it turns out it's the other RunCam app I needed which works fine. Rating based on the correct RunCam app.
