RunDouble Couch to 5K PRO
Couch to 5K by RunDouble runs in the background while you work out. This paid version includes full access to Couch-to-5K.
Master the Couch to 5K (not to be confused with the alternative plan, C25K) training program with this app, which prompts you through your 5K training. Choose a playlist from your music selection, and just get running. The app will track your total and interval distance, optionally giving you pace and distance updates as you run. It will also tell you when you are half-way, so you can turn around and head home.
Now works with RunTempo to allow adjustment of track tempo to match your pace.

Now that the free app is available again I thought, great! I can get back onto it! Alas, it won't let me log in with Facebook (says it's in development mode) so I STILL can't access my account. A great app when it works, hopefully it'll be back up and running (badum tshh) soon!!!
KEEPS LOSING GPS SIGNAL! THIS APP IS USELESS! Never got more frustated than this for a stupid phone app. I -never- review apps but this one deserve it. I don't have any energy saving option activated (checked multiple times!). Now I'm using another app for running and it works properly. Learn to program before putting paid stuff online!
Didn't unlock anything. When I reached out to customer service, they never responded. Hugely disappointed and switching to a different app. It's a real shame because it has such potential.
I installed this and paid for it. Then it says that I have to download the free version to be able to use this updated version. I click ok to download then it says it cannot be found in the play store. Thanks for charging me for an app I can't use.
I have had this app for years and now it no longer let's me get past week two. It wants me to pay more $$. For real?!? I love this app, but I am not paying for it again. I really want to train for a 5k again. Can this please be resolved?
As with other users, I bought the pro version but got a message that you need the basic version installed to use it. It's a shame, I read good things about it.
i loved this app! super bummed to learn it hasn't been updated since 2012 and now will not complete a run. somewhere around 12 minutes the app shuts down. used to be 5* now, not so much
Doesn't work without free app which has disappeared from Google play store. I used to love this app on my pxl2xl but can't get it working despite having paid again as the free app isn't available do wasted money.
Used to be the best. Does not work on Android 9 and randomly stops during run.
Bought this long time ago- installed today, tells me I need the free version to use the pro version- and that item can not be found..too bad, used to be good

i have used this app for years. now it doesnt work.
I started off with c25k and am inching my way through the 10k program now. So I love this app based on the progress it's helped me achieve and simple UI. What I don't love about this though, is that it randomly loses sync with my hrm and then creates numbers that sound great, but are way off. Emailing support was useless, so now I get to manually add all the intervals into another app that doesn't tell me that I burned 1700 calories in 30 minutes
I started out about to die doing 3, 5 & 8 min runs but today I finished a 20min run with out stopping. I highly recommend this for anyone serious about getting into running. It's never crashed on me & I don't have to worry about checking my time.. I am about to start week 6 with so much excitement. I didn't love running before but I do now..
I love this app and have been using it for years (I have an autoimmune situation, and frequently have to restart my training from 0), but I had to deduct 2 stars because my last two runs have had none of the announcements. I checked my settings and restarted my phone, etc., but all my usual stats are GONE. Very frustrating.
After I uninstalled the free version and was prompted to re-install it because the Pro version requires it to run, a message popped up telling me that the PRO version is just an unlock key. Maybe mention that in the app description page? If not for the statistics, because I had to re-download it literally seconds after uninstalling it :/ Other than that, it's a pretty good app. The GPS fix takes a while sometimes, but most times I've gotten around the annoyance by starting the app while I get ready to go out.
Avoid! All the pro version does is unlock the option to buy each mode individually. Buying the pro version did not actually provide any features whatsoever. Deceptive and wasteful I used the pro version years ago, and it was not this way.
