What Are Runes?
The word ‘rune’ simply means mystery, whisper or secret and it’s a form of divination or oracle reading system that’s used to help gain insight into situations or questions. Runes can be made of various materials, but are most commonly made of stone or wood, and feature a symbol from the runic alphabet on them.
There are various different types of runic alphabets used on runes, with one of the oldest ones being the old Germanic runic alphabet known as ‘Elder Futhark’. The Elder Futhark contains 24 runes, the first six of which spell out the word ‘futhark’.
As well as each rune symbol being a letter of the alphabet, they also have symbolic meanings too. Although many of these date back to traditional meanings, which would have meant a lot to the people using the runic alphabet, the intention behind the symbols still has relevance today.
What Can Runes Be Used For?
The runic divination can be used to help guide you through problems or issues and help show you what is likely to happen. Runes are known for hinting towards answers, but leaving you to work out the details, which is where intuition is helpful.
Runic readers acknowledge that the future isn’t fixed and that individuals have the power to follow their own path and make their own decisions. So if you don’t like the guidance that a rune reading provides, you’ve got the power to change your direction, or your path, and follow a different route.
Runic divination can be used in many different situations. For example, one of the occasions when it can be useful to consult the runes is if you’re in a situation where you have limited information, or can only see an incomplete picture.

I'm having the same problem as other users. The rune you choose may land "inverted" but that does not correspond to the answer options you are given. Your choices are "reverse" or "converse." You can never get an upside down rune with this app so the labels are confusing and not helpful. If they fixed this, the app would be far better.
Got this app to see if runes would resonate with me and using it convinced me to buy my own set. If you already have runes, this app offers a more succinct perspective than I can find anywhere else, and when i occasionally lose a rune or two from my bag I'm still comfortable using this as my back up. Oh, and the ads are super un-intrusive. I never notice them.
Great info on Runes and more. But the app itself is a bit glitchy. When I scroll while trying to read on one rune it zips down to the bottom. Also sometimes it doesnt even load the rune info. Fix that stuff and ya'll should be good.

Can someone explain to me what summer opposition means? I was scanning thru the the horoscope and I couldn't find my birthday at all (july) I did find June to summer opposition but scanning Google i still have no idea what that is. Otherwise a good app

Very good for education on scandinavian runes. Also includes randomized divination, which is cool I guess if you're interested in stuff like that. 4 stars only because of very slow scrolling! Please fix this.
Wasn't in-depth enough for me. Strange layout from the start, didn't know which way to go.

I like the descriptions for the runes, the backgrounds and images. But during the divinations it can get confusing because on the layout it says "Inverted" and on the description page it says "Reverse" or "Converse". I think inverted is supposed to be the same as reverse or converse, but it's not clear which one. I think the other one means the rune is facing down, which never happens while casting. Please fix the labels to match so reading is easier, and maybe add face down runes. Thx
