RunGo - Voice Guided Running

This app is overly complicated to use. It took me two days to learn how to edit groups and post runs for the group. I will update the review once I see the actual ease of access when we start running.

Have used for a few virtual events. The app works ok. The directions are ok, as long as they are programmed well, but what let's it down having to get your phone out and unlocked to start and stop. It could really do with a audible count down start, and an auto stop feature at the end of a race. Minimum you need to be able to stop the clock from the lock screen. Also, if you go off course, it takes far too long to warn you. Looking forward to real events starting up again soon.

Confusing user interface. I opened the app for the first time and got a list of places to run, but tapping on the list does nothing, and there doesn't seem to be any car navigation to reach the start of the run. I went to the rungo website, but it only touted all the great things at the app can do. It failed to include any instructions about how to use the app to access those features. This app needs to launch a tutorial walkthrough when first opening it (or be more intuitive).

Great app. I've no sense of direction so being able to create a route and import it into RunGo is perfect for me. It's given me the confidence to run abit further from home and in other towns when I'm travelling for work. I did have a problem with the app "crashing" after 5 or 6 minutes exactly but this turned out to be a "feature" of my phone, Honor 10 (made by Huawei). There's a battery saving feature that shuts down apps when the user doesn't use them, but they still look open. I applied the fix and RunGo has performed flawlessly since. To fix the problem, open settings, battery, app launch. Scroll down to RunGo and change its setting from automatic to manual. Problem solved.

This is a great app but the search function does not work (it works only for maps I've already downloaded). I've tried uninstalling an reinstalling and it still doesn't work. I have to scroll through 750+ routes to find the route I've created or someone else has created. I have the free version but it seems that function should still work (it did when I first installed the app). I've had it near look y a year now.

Impossible to tell if you have downloaded a route. Had to turn off my data just to stop the app from bringing up every route around me. There also isn't any indication that you have downloaded it, nor another page that shows a list of your downloads. It took me forever to find the legs of a race thanks to the awkward search engine. Also there seems to be zero instructions on how to use any features of the app.

The only thing more annoying than a navigation app that doesn't give directions is a navigation app that you THINK is still giving you directions, but has stopped, and lets you get wildly off course. Every five minutes I had to pull out my phone and look at the map. I even paid for a subscription, but I'm going to cancel after one day. Also I thought maybe if I closed the app and restarted the route, it would figure out what happened and resume directions. Nope. Awful.

I was so excited for a turn-by-turn app so I could be sure of the length of my planned route (sometimes I turn too soon) and from the very first direction , it failed. It never told me to make any turns and when I finally gave up to switch to old faithful (Map My Run) it hadn't even known where I was. I ended up having to piece together two half-runs to have a guess at my distance and route. I deleted the app and won't be trying it again.

Changed review from 4 stars to 1 star. The only things that have changed in the last two years are: 1- the ability for the app to guide you with accuracy being decreased 2- the ability to create routes which now has been removed unless you pay. I wouldn't mind paying for a good app. Not for this one.

This is a great app that my run club uses to create and stay on routes together. That said, I've been having issues lately. Whenever I look for the week's run for the last several weeks, it says that my app is unable to connect to the servers. IDK what the issue is, but it needs to get fixed.

It said nothing to me the entire run. I downloaded it for the turn by then directions. I initially changed the settings to minimize the voice notifications. Half way through the run, I paused to change the settings back to default. Still nothing.

This is just a terrible terrible app on Android. No markers to show the start or finish, no arrows to show the direction you should go. Just fails at the most basic requirements of what it's for. Usability is also woeful. Their UX person should hang their head in shame.

I am so upset with this app right now. I pressed pause during a half marathon, and when I came back it was no longer running the route. This app needs a way to say "resume the partially completed route" so that we don't lose credit for all of our progress. I was halfway through and now I have no record of it. what's worse, is that I cannot even resume the route from where I am because the app is telling me to go to the start. I need to be able to say to start from this place instead!

Worked great in the beginning. Now all of a sudden it's says "poor GPS signal". I've been running the same routes. Other apps I use have no issues. Contacted support 3 days ago. No response

Very poor interface. Despite joining a group it never appears in the group's tab. Never seems to sync with runs I've uploaded to Results Base, previously saved runs (the routes) don't appear in the list. Despite this it's still a worth while app.

Love this running/travel app! Excellent navigation, audio guided routes, it's everything I would want as a travel companion app and something to help me get into better shape. The update for new Android settings works perfectly. Highly recommend this app!

Love the update where street names are actually available now. Makes some of those weird multi direction intersections easier. Best that I know of on the market for turn but turn directions. Could still use slight fixes here and there on this like recognizing where you are just crossing a road versus a new direction.
