App timer doesn't work when screen is in standby. App will only work when the screen is left open. I get no notification when in standby. I really like the simplicity of this app, but it doesn't fully function. I had it on a older device and had no issues. It only has become an issue when I changed phone.
I really like this interface and find the app easy to use overall, but as others have written, the timer stops working in the middle of nearly every session. Reopening the app regularly during my run helps the issue, but defeats the point of the app entirely since it's supposed to be hands-free.
Been using since 2016. It's sad that this is still the best C25k app if you want to use your watch. I want a silent app where i can view progress on the watch and have it vibrate for cues to run & walk. It's crazy that this is the ONLY APP that does it. Only 3 stars: The run schedule isn't the c25k schedule. There's no way to customize it. Run 8 minutes one day, and 20 the next? No. The otherwise perfect watch app can't run in the bg while i use media controls to ffwd to the next song. Boooo!
Great app! I have recently signed up to a 5k run and have been trying out a few apps, but this one has stuck. It's simple interface and easy to follow instructions through my android wear makes it a perfect choice! I'm 2 weeks in and already feeling less of a couch potato and more of a runner! :)
Very simple to use specially on Samsung watch love it only watch option. If any chance next update voice add like start running and start walk on head phones. when running some time missed vibration. It will be great! Keep your good work
A fantastic little app, best c25k app I've encountered. It's minimalistic, has very loud and clear voice instructions (so you can leave the phone in your pocket), is visually very clear and intuitive. I use it parallel with Strava, without any problems.
I love this app except for the fact that it stops talking about halfway through the workout, and there are no settings where I can go to correct this. I prefer the voice talking at each interval because the notification noise is the same as all my other notifications. Is there a way to have it talk at each interval with what to do?
This app has been great. My only complaint is that resetting a day removes the workout data from Google fit. We've repeated a few days when we didn't feel ready for the next session...but we still did the run, so it should be reflected in fit as a Runmore session
The app goes to sleep when the display is off. I had been walking for 4 mins while the app showed it had only been 4 secs. No other apps were running on my TicWatch Pro. Removed any and all battery optimizations on the watch and still nothing. Defeats the purpose of just having this app.
I absolutely love this app. It works with my watch alone, so I don't have to bring my phone with me, and the vibration is long and strong enough that I have no worries about missing an interval. Progression is good so far - making me work for it but not overwhelming.
You need to turn off battery optimization to get it to work (if not, the timer stops working when the phone screen is locked.) Otherwise, it's simple and works well.
When I started running, I tried several apps, but none matched what I wanted. With Runmore I finished week 3 today - simple, efficient and works great with smart watch! I'm considering buying the paid version, to sync with Google Fit. :)
Works Ok I guess. I wish they could change the voice over to a more "american" accent type as it seems it says "run for" even though it is walking time. Also it glitched on me once and had to start the day routine again.
Be careful because times not accurate, I'm on week 3, I've realized that if phone screen goes dark timer not accurate. On my last run two days ago was doing the final 3 minutes and I was struggling, I was also counting in my head, I wake up phone it says 2 minutes left, I was baffled cause I thought for sure maybe a few more seconds, I got a cramp in my stomach that still hurts today. I realize I can load the app on my watch, 5 minutes time difference, watch finished 5 minutes before. Beware
wear os app does not work well. it got 5m out of sync with the phone. once done, the phone app started telling me to walk despite it being in the off position. I could not stop it and I had to uninstall to stop talking.
Would love if this had voice support. I prefer to wear headphones when I run and would love the option for it to tell me to run, walk, etc.
Incredibly easy to use and minimal interference when running. Super good stuff to get back into running.
The app keeps stopping and when i think i have been walking too long and touch my phone it starts again. Did an hour today when it should have only been about 31 minutes. Deinstalling it now as it annoys me.
Used to work well however tried again this week and it got stuck in walk instead of progressing back to run. Disappointing as it used to work flawlessly
All ready disappointed. Can't get through a run without the app crashing and restarting.
I love this app, it changed my mind about running. At Day 15 and I am amazed at how much I can do and actually love it. Thanks Runmore I will give you a shout out when I win my first marathon!
No settings, intrusive ads, subscription based yet hasn't been updated in almost a year.
Great program to get me started running. I wish the app integration with Google fit was better.
My only complaint is when I turn my screen off audio goes off too, my screen constantly has to be turned on which is annoying because I have to hold my phone
Please fix so schedule doesn't run off screen in the schedule feature since it doesn't allow for landscape orientation either.
free and does exactly what you want for a couch to 5k. A bit tideous to restart if you fall off the band wagon, but thats a minor issue.
All you need are this app, comfy running shoes, headphones and willpower, and you are set to get up to 5k runs. Do things in your own time, repeat weeks if you feel your not ready, and seriously watch out going up and down steps or kerbs.
I used the app for the first time today, and it synced with Google Fit perfectly! I use different apps, but having them sync with Fit is important, so thank you for that. I really like the guidance, and the voice is soothing. The vibration on the phone also helps to prompt me to switch from walking to running. Don't pay for the subscription apps! Google Fit Users: After your first run, a Google Fit icon will appear on the screen. Tap that and it will set up your Google Fit connection.
