Cool layout and customization in regards to what metrics you want to see. But the app isn't working well for me. I've tried two runs and it stops working randomly, not saving the run. I keep my phone in my hand while I run so maybe I'm pressing a button it doesn't like. No hot key options in the app though.
It works. Have I seen results, not yet, but if I do I will update. I paid for premium, so we will see. I like the audio coach, and features for plans. What I wish is like a slight Journaling system, for beginners like me. Like" today sucked, but it's going to get better" . Love the sharing feature, that was cool. Shared to snap.
Buggy. You can't unlock your phone while the app is on, otherwise the workout starts over, AND the new one overlaps the existing one, so you have two simultaneous workouts going on. And I don't wanna leave my phone running without turning off the screen, because I don't want to drain the batteries. Basically, if the app is running, do not touch your phone, otherwise you get a new workout.
Good app overall. Only complaint is the indicator for your fastest split time needs to be fixed. For example, I like to finish runs strong and my last quarter of a mile is typically my fastest. However, say I am running 4 miles and sprint the last quarter and then stop the app right at 4 miles, the app always picks up an additional 0.1 or 0.2 miles and says that last little bit is my fastest split. There needs to be away to program the app before you run and say "I want to run 4 miles". This would allow the app to cut off right at 4 miles and provide an accurate account of the fastest split. It would also allow for a reverse countdown.."you have 3.75 miles left". Other than that, great app!
It's been great. The free version still breaks down each mile time, distance, and total workout time and distance. It also tells you calories burned. It gives you a history of all past workouts, distances, and calories burned as well. Again, this is the free version. So pretty great I'd say. It looks like the pay version marks distances less than a mile and tells you your time for those. I don't know what else. The ads don't really get in the way until the end of a workout. Check it out!
Constantly crashing during runs. The last three runs I've been on, even after clearing up memory, this app has crashed in the middle of my workout. It doesn't even save half your run when it crashed, the whole run is erased and you don't know how far you've run. It's ok when it works, but the constant crashing is extremely annoying. Do not recommend.
Absolutely the best running app I have found to date! Love how it tells me my pace/speed so I don't have to look at my phone. The interface is sleek well themed and intuitive. It also has an map that plots out your run in different colors associated with your speed. I don't know what else you could ask from an app. Fitness22 really covers everything you could want!
I used to love this app and use it all the time. In the past month it has been constantly glitching, closing unexpectedly and finally got to the point where it wouldn't open at all. I uninstalled and re-installed it, only to find my entire run history (of 5 years), and my "lifetime" ultimate purchase completely gone, with no foreseeable way to retrieve it. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Will be moving to another app.
The previous version of this app was perfect! However, the older version stopped working a few weeks ago so I updated to the newer version. This newer version is absolutely terrible! It is constantly trying to upsell you on a paid version. Also there are ads that pop up every single time you tap on something! It is utterly useless for me. I will be uninstalling and finding a new app for running.
