Hello! Love Runtastic but one thing for me is missing. Build in a music player. It is nice to choice my own music player but every time when I want to start jogg I have to first go to my music player choice my Playlist play it, then come back to the Runtastic app and click start exercise. It is very annoying to me. If 'Nike run club' app can play your music when you start your exercise why Runtastic cannot?
I have been using Runtastic for many years and liked it. Since it has changed to Adidas there are less options available, therefore I thought I'd try the premium membership, but that was a huge disappointment, nothing useful for me there. Due to the automatic membership extension, I had to add another period, as I obviously forgot about this - as I never used any of it. I know this is a normal sales trick, but I wish that instead they would focys on adding real value.
Trying to figure out whether the "finish" and "pause" buttons when I'm done running are locked behind a paywall. Because if they are, it's a real cheap move. But so far, I think it got my first route pretty well. Not sure I wanna pay for a tracker though, if I do the same route, google map can do that for free.
DLd for Run for the Ocean but it's useless. I used my watch and other app as well. This one only tracked 2 miles in an hour and 40 minutes. From what I've seen in other reviews it has GPS issues. I have Verizon and everything else works just fine. A shame really if a running app can't do the one job is supposed to do.
It's a great app, really. But I hate that it stopped working when the connection is poor, cause then the distance would be inaccurate since the distance during the poor connection area are not calculated. If you can fix this, then it would be perfect.
Blasts you with push notification ads for Adidas' latest marketing initiative (currently, the plastic waste song-and-dance). They even go to the trouble of asking for marketing permission, but then do it anyway if you choose not to say yes. I guess you can just consider it the price to pay for a decent free run tracker.
Have been a paid user of this app for nearly a decade, I even stayed with it after I got a Samsung smart watch and discovered it was not supported. Now, after the latest android version update the app just gets stuck on thr loading screen. I have cleared data, reinstalled etc and nothing solved the issue. I will have to move to another app, what a shame.
At first, no problems and it was great. I even paid the $40 for a year of premium. Recently, though, I've been using my Galaxy Watch 4, only, on my runs. When I initially try to start, regardless of where I am, the app says i have a "weak GPS signal." I choose to start it anyway because it will never not have the "weak GPS signal. Now my runs aren't being registered and it is as if I never even did the run. No I didn't submit it to that long azz link you send, I submitted it here.
The app is excelent. But but I feel that it's unfair I dont understand how the participants can run more than 450 miles (724 Km) in a month. That is imposible . They Would be running 15 miles (24Km.) every day. Eso no puede pasar. I have an excellent internet connection but the application is very slow, exasperating. They should improve it
To anyone having mapping issues recently (I did after upgrading to Android 12 on my Samsung device), select lock/keep open. It's an issue with how the OS handles snoozed applications (running in background, screen off, that type of thing), NOT the app itself.
I am using this app continuously since last 3 months and it has helped me a lot in reducing my weight through running. This app covers 95% accurate distance. Due to GPS, this app gets more help in covering the distance and it is more accurate than any other running app. You can set a target for doing different types of exercises like running, walking, Gym activities. It will motivate and help you to keep constant on your day by day exercise.
App makes me happy to pair with workouts. Very simple to use and friendly. I don't pay extra but still have access to the strong community. Challenges a chance for prizes. Other great benefits will be the calorie count and stats to your runs.
Fix the app please..after update its loosing gps signal when app is in the background..it has to be left open on the front screen to be able to record the mileage..but its inconvenient as when running can be switched off accidentally and your mileage is not recorded..happened few times already
When I bought Runtastic Pro I didn't pay for just a year. How am I not losing something by excepting only a year? The handling of this change over was poorly executed. I'll change the star rating once I'm less disappointed because the apps themselves are great. Here's the quote below. "When you log in to the adidas Running app, you will be offered a 1-year FREE renewal of your Premium Membership which will be effective immediately. Not only do you not lose anything, you get even more! "
I give 3 stars just because the voice is so off putting and the pace is always wrong, which makes me annoyed whilst running! Decent app though but will probs swap it out for one with better voice options.
Have been using this for a while but switched to Runkeeper as I thought the cost of this was too much. Using a free month at the moment and will probably continue with the free version. I prefer it to Runkeeper as it's never crashed or hung during a long run and is more slick that it. Last time I looked the commentary voice or whatever option didn't have UK English option which would be a nice touch.
Excellent app. The only thing I miss is the possibilty to open/explore the map of the different activities in the feed. sometimes I even can see only a map with the roads without names and only the name of one street without any information about the main town in the nearby. This feature I'm missing would be a great improvement, in my opinion! hope it helps :) cheers
