Rusted Warfare - RTS Strategy

Ok, so this is a horrible game. Please do not download it! I opened it, got into a game (in a matter of seconds, because of a well-designed menu system), and when I put it down, an hour has passed, even though I could swear it was 15 mins. 20 tops. Developers are quite clearly evil warlocks who somehow steal your lifetime when you are not looking. In all the seriousness, this is an amazing game, extremely well-balanced, with unlimited playing styles. It is addictive though!!!

Best RTS experience on mobile - hands down! Having played Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander (1, FA, and 2), and Planetary Annihilation on PC, I can confirm this is the closest you can get while on a mobile platform. The developer has created intuitive controls in everything from selecting units to strategic zoom. The AI is solid for single player and multi-player is easily set up. The Endless Survival mode is also a great addition! Many thanks to all those who developed this!

Absolutely phenomenal! I'm blown away by this game - a true RTS experience reminiscent of the original C&C games or StarCraft. I'd actually pay way more for this game than the asking price, especially since it is true to its word and there are no paywalls or micro transactions. The graphics are not earth-shattering, but the game is well-balanced, free of any major errors, runs very smoothly, and - most importantly - is a fantasticly fun time! To the developer: a sincere THANK YOU!!!

An incredible game by itself, made better with a mod manager to activate and deactivate mods with ease. Has a Campaign, Bonus missions, and skirmishes to fight A.I with, if you're an introvert with little to no friends, like me. There's a sandbox mode which can be used to test units, find out mod mechanics, and make your own missions, though you might want to pause, otherwise the enemy will develop. My favorite mode is Survival/Endless, because it's endless. Deserves #1 for mobile RTS.

Great game. I feel that there should be more options to customize controls though. I never use pinch to select multiple units and I would much rather pinch be zoom. Otherwise though, the game is really fun. It's lacking a little in variety, but that's to be expected from a a mobile game still in development. Also, fixing up the tutorial would be nice. It's not horrible, but it's only four slides and I was confused at first.

Excellent game. I like the idea that you can't just bumrush the enemy and take them out easily. I believe I went through all the missions but I might be mistaken because I did so a while back, and every map was well made and was well balanced in getting attacked and attacking. I remember a map where I was on a small island constantly being attacked and spent hours trying to get off and win, and eventually I did and didn't realize how much time passed. So in all, very addicting and fun.

It's not often I review phone games. But damn.. This is an awesome game. It's quite simplistic in looks and style, but it more than makes up for that (if that's something that puts you off) with gameplay. It has all the favourite game modes to keep you busy for hours. Takes me back to early C&C games. If you guys are the kind or devs that take requests, all I'd ask is if we could add some walls? And perhaps a true map editor. Can't think of anything else though, all boxes ticks. Kudos.

Really fun game. Spent hours on it (accidentally) tonight. Only thing I can really critique is the UX and UI has room for improvement. Hard to get to grips with, was lost for the first half hour and almost gave up on it but glad I didn't. My main points would be: Zoom feels unnatural, like it should be done by pinching the screen. The UI for selecting your tank/boat etc is a little confusing when first playing. Hope this is helpful. - Fellow game designer!

This game is really amazing! The units, structures and the interfaces are clearly very well planned! Worth every penny, the multiplayer mode is really fun, I enjoy it a lot, you can also use some AIs to fulfill the match. Please don't let this game die! Develop it further with custom skins that we can purchase and some awesome ideas! Keep it 2.5D!! This is not a pay to win game!! It's pure strategy!! I just loved it!

This borrows heavily from the command and conquer, total annihilation games from the late 90's. It recreates the feel brilliantly. Unfortunately those games required a large amount of micro management of upgrades, units, combinations etc. The simplest way we used to handle this was reduce the speed of the game. But while the options for faster and super slow motion are there, there's nothing in between. You absolutely need to add a slower speed option otherwise it's just too overwhelming.

The AI isn't creative or varied at all but still a fun to play against. There isn't very much variety in the servers, it's almost always 10 player matches. There is a large number of troops to use so it has some replayability and different ways to play but there is a small group of troops that will always make winning, against AI, easy and sometimes very quick.

Had to edit my review. While singleplayer for this game is honestly perfect in my eyes, and all I can think of to further improve it is an in-game map editor, multiplayer is a bit of an issue. Most of the matches have at least one player that's miles above the others in experience. If a level system was worked in, and players were restricted to games close to their level, this could totally fix the issue. Will add the final, glorious star once this is addressed.

This is by far one of the best RTS games for the mobile platform, well worth the money. The controls are simple and intuitive and diversity in not only the units but also in the defences makes for interesting play. I especially applaud the balance that the developer has achieved in the game, though some tweaking here and there may be required I would say that everything is very well done. My only quip and it's a rather small one is there is not enough control groups for the mobile version.

The controls are a little harder to pick up than a typical RTS due to the touch screen, but once you get in the habit of manually de-selecting units once you've given them their orders, everything falls into place. This game far surpassed my expectations and is quite impressive for a mobile RTS. No Micro-transactions and bs like that make this a very consumer friendly product. You should support these guys!

This is THE BEST RTS I've played on mobile. No adds, no pay to win. Plenty of units (although I would love for more expansion). I haven't had any problems with multi-player or connection issues. Thank you guys for making such a great and fun game Suggestions to the dev: - Allow the player to scroll a little off the boundary. It gets a little frustrating when I can't make pinpoint placement at the edge of the map - add an optional d-pad for persicion placement I'll add more as they come along!

Amazing game for what its worth. The only problem that is present is the controls, specifically the function to zoom in and out and troop group selection. These two functions interfere with each other which makes it harder to play. The acceleration on zoom is too fast which allows for you to accidentally zoom in or out way too much, therefore interrupting and handicapping you in later stages. The developers need to somehow reinvent these two controls to work together for better gameplay.

great game but the enemy's on here are to overwhelming. also it would be great if you could add shields to cover the base and walls that are easy to make. also make more unit types like soldiers and military cars. please consider makeing a game mode for the bugs. I'd like to fight and defend myself from them! hope you like my ideas! I'm a big fan of this game! thanks

99% Amazing. The gameplay excells in base building, the feeling of being abke to ramp up your forces and amass large armies. All the pieces mesh well. I only have two bugs I've seen, and one may only be on my device. 1) I can't press the #3 unit grouping button 2) When I load a skirmish map after saving a quitting all of the world fog goes away and I can see all the enemy units. Other than these two things the game is awesome and well worth the price!

Great little game. Purchased after reading the description and some reviews. In short, a battlefield strategy game with similar design to Command and Conquer. As mention in other reviews, game plays better on larger screens (tablets, laptops, etc.) but developers have compensated for use of the game on smaller devices with "Zoom" feature. While there is no tutorial, on the easiest setting, one isn't needed. Graphics are very basic but passable. Variety of difficulty. I reccomend it!!

The help guide isn't enough to get you going, since it doesn't touch on UI, unit types, or how you the work flow should go. If you're experienced with RTS games, maybe it's obvious, but this is a really unintuitive game otherwise. I can't get into it because I'm so frustrated just trying to figure out what I need to do while time is ticking away. Put a decent tutorial (even optionally) that covers more than just several tips.

I could say much of this game. To be brief, it is outstanding. Furthermore, it is the only *true* classic RTS that I know of in the play store. One note for the devs: the 'very hard' difficulty is very easy for me against multiple opponents, while the 'impossible' setting is, well, impossible against multiple opponents. I wish there was an in-between difficulty.

An rts on mobile is an absolute dream. The genre isn't a priority for mobile developers, so they are few and far between. I don't have the time to play my PC, so I miss RTSs. This one comes very close to scratching that itch. It's a fully fledged rts, with a bunch of units, big maps and great pixel graphics. This should be the RTS fans dream. But it feels like they haven't done enough to make it easier to control with a touchscreen. It's the biggest problem with rts games on console or mobile.

If you want a real time strategy game with quality gameplay, look no further. There are no microtransactions, no wait times, and it is literally a quality PC game. (You can get it on PC too). You can play it as a time waster on the easy modes, but it becomes quite challenging and engaging on the harder modes. You can even download mods from the internet to change things up. Very fun game, I have nothing negative to say at all about it. You should definitely buy it!
