Ryder Cup 2016

The app is junk if you're trying to watch the matches. When you turn your screen sideways (landscape), it does not give you an option to go full screen, and it scrunches it to the top 1 inch of your phone. You can't see anything. So you watch a tiny portrait mode or you watch a scrunched landscape mode. Either way, you can't see it. I'd think the number 1 thing you'd work on when putting this app out is making sure the video plays. Like that is the only thing that should work.

What a disappointment. It ran fine on my Pixel 3 during the Saturday matches and is nicely designed. But when I opened the App Sunday afternoon, it says it's out of date and I need to upgrade. (Hell of a time to stop working and require an upgrade). But the worst part is the upgraded App doesn't work. I can't load/display the scores at all. Get a professional development team for next time please. This is just embarrassing and infuriating.

App wanted an update before opening today, updated and it still said it needs an update. Had to clear data/cache and then update to get it to open. Now the scoring screen is blank. Hit the refresh button and it says its updating then displays a blank screen again. Also the video feed is fine if you don’t try to expand it, if you do the resolution changes to something like 48:9 instead of a 16:9 full screen. At this point the app is pretty much useless.

the live coverage video is terrible. it starts at random spots and if you try to go full screen it just squashes the picture without a way to revert back without going out of the video and coming back in. the video controls are non existent and occasionally it just drops out making you reload in. So far there is more commercials then golf also.

Only lets you watch one of the matches live and of course it's the tiger match. would love to be able to watch the others. Also, it doesn't update quick enough as it is a hole or two behind. Just as easy to follow it on my sportscenter app.

Two issues with this app. 1. The ads are too numerous, too intrusive. 2. The hole-by-hole section is completely unstable. Flickers endlessly and won't allow me to scroll to the next hole as the entire app just freezes. You guys had 3 years to put this together and failed.

Frustrating to use. Video won't go to live or full screen so you watch the replay while the live scores are right below on the screen. It's awful. Then I tried listening to the radio section and it kept cutting out - right when Rahm did his interview and then again when the Shark gave his assessment of the day. They clearly cheaped out and dev rushed the rollout.

This app will not take "no" for an answer and asks to turn on GPS at every opportunity. No means No. What about now? No. How about now? No. I wish there was an app setting for "do not ask me again, ever" There are plenty of other design flaws . The ads are not intrusive except if you expect to see videos. This great event which is a point of US national pride feels more like a commercial opportunity for its creators. A reminder of how great and rare the tradition of CBS Masters coverage is.

The video has been horrible. Keeps jumping back to earlier footage, can't get back to live, and goes to commercial break and never comes back sometimes. Also can't go to full screen, it just distorts the screen instead.

When it works it's great. Routinely just goes blank. No data. Nothing. Close the app and reopen and still nothing. The live tv coverage of the feature match was also flaky. It could be showing me live coverage or the live coverage from 4 holes prior.

Awful...trying to use radio broadcast feature. A commercial plays, theni get at most 60 seconds of coverage, then it shuts down and I have to reload only to get another commercial. Do not bother to download...waste of time.

Installed it yesterday. Today it says the version is no longer supported and needs an update. That takes me to the Play store, and no updates are available. Cleared cache and data, force stopped app. No change. Literally cannot use the app 1 day after installation.

I don't have enough time to tell you how bad this app is. Botched update process. Livestream doesn't resize properly on Android. Terrible buffering does not handle intermittent connectivity very well at all

Full screen doesn't work. Scores below take up most of the screen and are 2-3 holes ahead of the video. Kinda ruins the experience don't you think? The beep beep BMW commercial is beyond annoying and quite dumb. Now this app isn't up to date on the last day...?

Video works sometimes. Full screen doesn't work at all. It ends up squished vertically. Video keeps jumping around in time as well.

Kept crashing, so uninstalled and now will not reinstall.....trying for 2 days. How long does this take to fix? Very frustrating, was looking forward to seeing the "big picture" of the matches/scores/results.

Great app compared to PGATour app. Great live coverage. I would like an explanation of match play scoring. I saw a video somewhere but can't find it again. This should be part of the main page

Streams only work 20% of the time. Typically kicks you back out to the menu after playing one or multiple ads. App is garbage.

Info is good but if you click anything or try to go full screen while watching live, the video feed messes up and stretches out and you've gotta back out and restart it.

Don't like that they are only able to show one match on the app or the website because of TV contracts. Can't afford subscription television so it would be nice to be able to watch the whole thing on the app

Can't watch the video without additional content on screen, and it compresses the picture in full screen. Featured group viewing just keeps showing Garcias putt for birdie on 18

It's telling me I need to update to the newest version but their is no update button. Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling and still no way to update. Now I can't use it at all. Also I have auto update turned on so why isn't it updating on its on?

Keeps indicating an update is needed but there are no updates available. Also, the app had a terrible layout and not easily usable to navigate.

Even after update: Scoring don't load; live feed freezes; nightmare of an app. I have to go elsewhere for any updates of matches. VERY disappointing

Gives the information needed. Lists both American and European teams so not sure what other comments were complaining about (tht there was no info on European team🤔). Does its job (the app). Oh and also for others it is the 2020 Ryder cup because of Covid they cancelled it so having it this year. But technically again it should be rightfully called the 2020 cup😉

Cannot maximize the screen on your phone. Every time you try to maximize your screen it shrinks. Programmed by dolts.

The watch live is nice but when you make it full screen you can get rid of the scoring or the live blog so you can actually have it full screen!

This app worked perfectly for first 3 days of tournament but today it says I must update. Play store says I have latest release. No way to update. I cleared cache, cleared data, restarted, still will not open. What a shame. Will be uninstalling.
