It's a pain to navigate. Maybe I am just to old school. I like the simple punch card. Don't have to worry about losing my phone or making sure it's charged just to punch in and out for work. Even once I get used to finding what I need, I will still have to keep track of carrying and charging my phone.

Absolute trash. Constant problems that nobody seems to know how to fix, multiple shutdowns, login issues, hos problems, you name it. Hands down one of the worst hos and logging apps I've ever used. I shouldn't have to delete the app and redownload it to work, but I've had to many times. For being such a large company with the kind of money they have, it seems spending money where it counts isn't on the agenda

This program needs an overhaul. Not to say it isn't good to a point, but it's glitchy, and slow at the best of times. Even on new devices 8n place of the shoddy phones Ryder supplied. The program needs a bit more utility, and streamlined access. Though it is going in the right direction.

Very easy to use just read the tabs and follow the prompts. Also being able to add a log is very convenient. There is lag when the system is updating but that to be expected. I would like to beable to email my logs to my self. This would be very helpfull with part time employee or such people who need their previous eight day records with them.

This app is horrible, it's too slow it's always buffering it will just start to flip screens when you are trying to change screens, you can't see the driving time when your moving so it does no good if you cant see your time available. Ryder get out of the technology side of things and stick to truck rental and logistics.

Locks up about once a week. I have to uninstall and reinstall it. It doesn't know what location is what. Sometimes it won't even load. After logging off duty, and logging out. It will put me back on duty. Oh, and it says I'm driving when I m not even moving. I CAN'T EDIT DRIVE TIME. If I get a ticket because of I'm out of drive time, Because I was getting fuel for example, I promise you there will be trouble!

This app has connectivity issues, loading issues, location issues, log in and out issues as well as many other things. I'm completely floored that any company would accept an application like this. There are actually free ones that are much better. This is going to cause a lot of drivers to have DOT issues. In fact I would not be surprised if that is already happening. Multibillion-dollar company with a Dollar Store application.

1) Poor for normal phone, would be MUCH better on a tablet. There are no supports for tablets on Ryder trucks so phone is necessary format for those trucks with a phone holder. 2) I would like very much to have access to the logs on my home computer. I use Linux, not Windows and not Apple. 3) As a leased driver, I need to move my logs between companies and this does not allow that. My only option is a 34 hour reset between companies. 4) Where is there any training for this? I come from IT background and I have had to depend on that skill to understand and use this app. I do NOT recommend this app. Is this someone's first attempt to program an Android App? That would be a basis for giving it an Average rating. Now comes the recent more specific problems, including frequent hanging up in Drive status. Surprise change of login seems to have stuck the app in a condition unable to log out nor to log in. I had to wait for the weekend to figure to uninstall and reinstall. That fixed that issue. Frequent problem before today's reinstall was a long delay in change of status from Driving to On Duty and would not allow me to manually change it to Off Duty during some such delays. During the process of adding my breaks into the reinstalled app logs, I found how to do it after the fact. May not stop the potential violations if I get close to a long period of work without breaks. I have thrown comments into "Add Notation" after such issues to work out later.These comments are LIMITED to about 140 characters. My recent discoveries may have enabled me to avoid the problems in the future. This app does not engender loyalty to Ryder as a good support for the ELD mandate. I can however imagine worse. I DO want better for Ryder.

Not DOT COMPLIANT. You cant see your current duty status hours, 11, 14, 60/70, or "time till break" clocks (like Keep Trucking and Big Roads do) when vehicle is moving. Just a black screen. 2. Can't edit typos in "remarks". 3. Hard to find add/drop trailer other driver/user options. 5. If you have "To Do" items you can't access your logs, HOS or GEOTAB areas. This is THEE most convoluted, confusing, unorganized multiuse ELD I've used since ELDs were introduced. Needs a separate logbook app!!

FIX. THIS. NOW. 3 major issues. There is no reason we should have to switch between 2 apps to manage HOS. GEOTab should literally be a backend and the Ryder Drive app should be the frontend and interface for the user. so problem 1 integration. 2 why not instead of forcing the park vehicle message, you show our clock like every other app and system in existence? 3 why not work out everything before a large scale implementation? That's my rant -5 stars

As a driver it has its moments of useful and it had allot of moments of useless honestly the app works better for the Apple platform than with Android also need to do away with the solid white screen while driving it's distracting as well as a welcome sign to pull us over for being on our devices it's getting old the trips not wanting to work properly is also old please fix

lots of potential upside. lags terribly during use. the hours of service is hidden from the normal geotab app that is condensed to a small hours left to drive floating icon disappears constantly so I am having to pull over to see my hours of service and the phone will lock up and shut down

Absolutely horrible. It's slow and buggy. Often fails to update arrival and departures. The I am not driving screen pops up when sitting still. It's almost as annoying as rush hour traffic.

useless locks up all the time have to restart the device constantly. Hides Hours of service the little floating clock makes it freeze showing more time than you have . the cover screen when driving can be seen through but is it safer to just let the driver see his hours or try to stare through the screen cover or have a driver try to pull over just to see his hours . lags when starting off and also when stopped I have to manually switch to onduty then back to drive when I leave a stop. minus 0

its a kludge 2 seperate progtams not intuitive at all. try to change drive to off duty? good luck. it will switch back in a few minutes twice ive had to take my 30 min break over again. please spend some money to make this app usable instead of making a frustrated driver

Not connecting to tractor after latest update, therefore is not tracking movement.

Slow, glitchy, stopped using Samsung tablet and use my phone. It's a little better, but still can be slow at times, even unresponsive to inputs.

The app is confusing and very repetitive it is way to involved for an ELD.

Always has errors within the app. Doesn't like to log you completely out. Doesn't give a warning sound for getting close to the rest break. GeoTab app was so simpler to use.

March 2020. The driving overlay finally shows all your clocks while driving. Right now I think RyderDrive is in a good state and doesn't hinder my ability to do my job. Thank you for the update.

It's not intuitive at all. The developer obviously knows NOTHING about trucks or truck logs beyond the technical data they've been fed. Useless.

App Isn't Driver Friendly. App Locks Up And When You Close It Sometimes It Doesn't Hold Information. If You Run While Off Duty It Puts You On Duty Not Sure Why??. Keep Truckin Is A Great App, Peoplenet Works Very Well Along With Samsara. This App Needs To Be Trashed And Rebuilt If They Going To Use It. If Your Going To Use It. It Definitely Needs To Be DOT Compliant. Ryder Can Afford The Fines But The Driver Not So Much.

Very slow. Doesn't show hours of service. Won't switch from driving to on duty once I come to a stop. Terrible

The app shuts down anytime it wants , it can't locate my truck GPS but it is hard wired into my truck. They have a long way to go to make it driver friendly

NOT user friendly. Not intuitive. Can't add to previous entries.

Mostly useless, works at most 20% of the time. Ryder does not seem to have any drive to fix it either.

It continues to freeze and have time delays. Also the arrival and departure calls fail multiple times a week.

For the most part it works ok..Other times is a pain in the butt..It disassociates you from the truck while you are driving. At times it does not allow you to show your arrival or departure for shippers or consignee...

Good app, but now my dispatch doesn't show up on the main screen. Have to go into loads folder and find my dispatch info.

Won't initiate log system alot of the time without multiple logins and doesn't stay connected to the truck also will shut down without notice
