I use this for hiking and biking. Sometimes when I'm going up a steep hill going slow, the app pauses. This get annoying. Another thing is sometimes when I finish my workout, I forget to turn off the app. I will drive home and the app records all that driving as part of the workout. It ruins all my stats. And there's no way to edit the workout. The app should be able to tell if you are driving vs walking, no one can walk or bike 60 mph
I've been using the Samsung App for 7-8 years. I recently upgraded to a G10 android phone and there are no sensors for pulse and blood oxygen... that wouldn't be a total flop if I could enter the data manually (I do have a pulse Ox meter accessible). I still have the app on my older galaxy (wi-fi only, no phone/data usage) but even tho I try to share on Wi-Fi, it does not sync. I USED to have the app on my (old) laptop but cannot find a download that doesn't include a lot of other browsers and extensions which my anti-virus program flags as "risky". Also I was given a cheap wearable and would love to either sync or manually enter the data... failures on both counts. Love the program, dislike some of the updates.
Was great... not so much anymore. the amount of info is fantastic but For some reason the app cuts out and turns my screen black when I'm looking through past exercise, it then won't re-open when I close all my apps and try again. Really infuriating bug that should have been sorted by now. My phone isn't old and is the top one for its model so surely it can't be that. Please sort it
I've used this app for years, and loved it. With the latest update it no longer syncs with my Galaxy sport watch, or counts steps...... Watch syncing is now back with updated version, but pulse/O2meter no longer work. This was a useful feature with Covid. I haven't found any useful improvements with updates (except when you bring back previous functionality).
I used to really love this app, but it's become borderline useless to me. I upgraded from the S10 to the S22 only to discover that the app has gotten rid of the heart rate and blood oxygen sensor options. I do not have or want a Samsung watch. What I do have is chronic health issues and both of those measurements are important for me to regularly check. Love it when I upgrade only to get less features.
Used to love it. Now all I have is issues with it syncing. When I call support, I spend hours and days trying to get it to work only for it to stop syncing again. Don't know if it's related to updates but tired of dealing with it. Last time they did swap out my watch with a refurbished one but now this one is doing it. Ugh. Frustrating.
Most recent update removed the ability to use the Samsung S10's built in heart rate sensor. There used to be a heart icon to click. Extremely frustrating that a purposeful software update eliminates a hardware capability in my phone. There's a reason I have a S10. If I just wanted a phone with a big battery and camera, I'd get an Apple. I prefer phones with packed in features. I've had Samsung Galaxy's since the very first, and the S10 will likely be my last. Samsung has lost their way
I was going to complain bc the total miles ran weren't available but just figured that out. I actually like the program and use it daily. I would suggest being able to manually enter data in case I forgot my phone. I would also like to compete against specific ppl and have them see my current data(4 safety) without loading my entire contact list. I like the voice saying to speed up/slow, but not the YOU CAN DO IT msg. A pacer tone would would also be great. No reason not to use this program.
The app worked great as a pedometer and was looking forward to getting into more of it's features when a UI upgrade to Android 12 has decimated it. The widget still reads as "updating..." Going into the app isn't helpful as it's reading of my steps is far too low and inaccurate. I can't even save any manual data I enter. Edit: changed from 2 to 1 stars. It was rude to actual 2 star apps.
Overall it's a good app but I'm missing line graphs one everything that has graph part and a page where I can see a graph of distance that I've walked. Also I'm missing ECG an Blood Pressure only because I have non Samsung phone, c'mon... Btw take some notes from Google's Fit app as I'm a bit lost in the layout of your app. Make your sleep chart similar to the one found in the mi fit app and add route map syncing from watch (can't find a map with route that I've taken in your app).
Must have 3-4 apps to make it work. * does not sync, or syncs with wrong values, even when performed manually * IF it syncs correcly it does after a few hours * the watch disconnects fast, even at 5 meters away, and I am not living in a steel reinforced concrete building. Disappointing, to say the least. Any additional words would be cursing 🤬 😒 Was a present, but will remove Samsung products of my life. Cluttering proprietary unnecessary apps, poor feasability products, low resistance in use.
I have never managed to get this app to work so I'll be getting rid of my Samsung watch - no point to it when all the fitness data disappears at midnight! Tried contacting developers/customer service only to be given a long list of things to do (no surprise there then!) which still didn't work. Even sent them a screenshot of the error message but it would seem that it was ignored. How can a server error occur on 3 separate occasions? Better to head over to the other side and buy a Fitbit :D!
A little over a year ago, this app was pretty sad. Fortunately, Samsung heard the people and changed! Brought back all the old features (pulse ox, weight management) plus additional body composition. Only thing lacking now is the ability to share data with other apps. Overall if you have a Samsung watch, this is the right fitness tracker for you!
Fire the entire product team. I know I will get a canned response but your product team took a good app and trashed all the best features. For example, did anyone even look at the app on the phone and see if the weight chart shows anything meaningful. Why would you take away the history log and put a worthless chart. Update: Steady improvements and changes since my previous review has made the app much improved and user friendly. Still some things I would like to see but good overall.
Works just fine. I've been using this app with the Samsung Watch 3 for about 2 years now. Overall I really like the app BUT, there are a number of basic features missing. Once the watch has auto recorded excerise you can't edit the data, you can only delete it and enter your own. Auto detection of swimming just doesn't work. Swimming harder doesn't record as burning more calories, just swimming for longer.
I used this app for 4-5 months. While cleaning and moving around the house. The app would count every other 20 steps. I restart my phone. Update the app. When I uninstall. Thats when it counted all my steps. When I open up the app. I didnt know that it wouldn't sync your steps. Until you click on the sync button. In my opinion they should be a warning before you uninstall the app and when you first install. To tell you to sync if you like to data on all your steps. So now all 4-5 months is gone
The timer in the swimming app does not stop when the button is pushed. You have to expel the water first, then if you have completed your preset laps, a flag is displayed, then your stats show up. All this takes place before you can swipe right to stop the timer. Your final time includes all of the above rather than just your swim time. Please fix. It has been this way for along time.
