S&T Mobile Banking

This is one of the most finicky apps I have. It won't save login credentials. The fingerprint login option won't save the info, so I have to manually enter my credentials each time. Also, the app doesn't offer very many services. It's as basic as they come.

The app always worked fine for the several years I have had it on a multitude of different types of Android phones. Recently however it just gets stuck trying to download updates. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. The app still states downloading updates when I enter it. Google play says there are no updates needed. It always kicks me out of the app after about a minute or so. I have been trying on and off for about a week now to no avail. I'm gonna keep trying, but it's very frustrating.

Extremely difficult and cumbersome to use, finger print doesn't work, won't remember passwords, low image quality on check deposits (led to rejected checks). Every deposit returns an error the first time as well, and it seems the stars have to align for one to be successful. I've noticed so many bugs as a user that I find it more convenient to visit the bank in person rather than try to use this app. So many negative reviews since 2011 and nothing has been done to improve this.

This is by far the most, 'less than', "Vanilla" banking app I've ever had the displeasure of using. There are way too many steps involved just to be able to transfer money or pay bills, see my credit card, etc. I hate Citizens but you guys really need to take a hard look at their app. It's good! Even Chases app let's you see your credit score too. And they both have Zelle, which most POPULAR COMPETENT Banks do! You don't!?!? Not a very convenient bank or app. You guys are great for "hiding" money from myself!

Always worked pretty well till the update on 2/27/20. Galaxy s10, app no longer works, I get different messages from "not allowed" to "rejected" when trying to sign in. I deleted the app and downloaded again to see if this would correct it, it did not. Also it's pretty barbaric in 2020 to have a banking app that doesn't use a fingerprint..... hope they can fix it right next time

I have had to enroll multiple times. It seems that the app disconnects my device frequently or does not "remember". When it does work, the features are convenient and easy to use

Mostly good when it works. It works well for a few weeks then boom cant login with biometric, then I have to delete the app reinstall and its good for a few weeks then same stuff. Tired of authorization required. Fix it fix it fix it!

App should take pictures of check automatically. It is very annoying to see that a check is deposited and then email is received that the check is not accepted. Then we need to rush to the bank to deposit it. It has happened multiple times.

Before the updates, I wasn't able to use the fingerprint option & my password would never be saved, even when "Save My Password" is marked. I am hopeful that downloading the updated version will help with this. I will update my review when I try the application out for a little longer. Thanks!

Very disappointed that this app does not allowl a person to see the password as it is being typed in. When I use my cell phone, my big fingers hit the next key over at times. Very unprofessional way of providing this app to the general public who use cell phones most of the time! However, I love depositing checks from home. So convenient.

Works minimally. Sign in is difficult, doesn't work with Android passwords. Deposits are tricky, doesn't give account numbers, or deposit confirmation of any kind. But at least I can deposit, and so far, it eventually accepts the deposits...

Been seeing the same thing in other comments, I've had the app for over three years with no issue. As of the middle of last week it just goes to a blank screen and I have to uninstall. Extremely not convenient, hope for a fix or something soon.

The app works fine, but the biometric login doesn't work. I have to continually log in using a password and then reset the fingerprint setup in the settings. Then the next time I log in, it prompts me for a password again and won't let me use the fingerprint login feature. 😡😡😡

Never let's me open it. Every time I try open it, it tells me it's updating and then shuts app. It won't let me use the app when I'm abroad either. Super frustrating. In general, I don't recommend S&T Bank bad experiences, build need it for work.

I am over this app. So much that I am tempted to change banks just so I dont have to deal with the hassle of not being able to quickly log in. Every other time I log in to manage my accounts, I have to re-authenticate all over again! It wont save my ID, my password, or my fingerprint. Its frustrating!! FIX IT PLEASEEEEE!!

Just an update. Works for a few days, and goes to a white screen when i open the app. I have to uninstall and reinstall just to use it. After the latest Android update it doesn't work. Also I use Mint by Intuit, in the only thing I have issues with is s&t Bank not loading, but that's been that way. I tried to use the s&t Bank app instead because I like to use a budget app. I have to do security checks on all of my credits every time I open it.

App has not been acting correctly, keeps telling me I need authentication. Called office and gentleman I talked to was acting like the problem was my fault and I was bothering him. 2 times now I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and then it works fine. This authentication problem has been about the last 4 weeks.

I believe you need to set up most options thru the bank but once your accounts are set up you can do a lot from the app. Check deposits are very easy with the app and no more unnecessary trips to the branch.

The worst banking app I've ever run across. I downloaded & 1hr later Uninstalled! I've been an S&T customer 4 40 years. Never any issues. I've been on SS Disability since 2005. I decided 2 finally open an online account. I live on my SS & am unable 2 keep a balance above $1,000 continuously throughout the entire month. Every online account requires this however with penalties ranging from $5 - $10 / month! Uh, no f'ing way! Not 2 mention the other problems with the Android version. Hard pass!

I like it.......is exactly what it says it is.....but only giving it 4 stars because the old bank bought by you(DNB First) had fingerprint recognition for signing it. Add that and I'll make it 5 stars. Edit: You added the fingerprint sign-in and it was working great....but now it won't work. I keep having to put in all my credentials even tho it's set up to remember my ID. Dropping to 3 stars

Used to be a great app. Not anymore. It works once after you install it and then anytime you open it after that one time it's just a blank white screen. Very disappointing.

Terrible app. Nothing ever saves, you constantly have to "re-authenticate" and get the text message code. Fingerprint login never works because of it and each time you're asked to enroll in mobile banking.

This app worked just fine for me on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Just got the Google Pixel 3 and now it crashes. Refuses to open and immediately closes as soon as it shows the login screen. Unbelievably frustrated right now because I can't e-deposit checks with this bank now.

So basic you can't do anything...S&T bought our bank, whose app worked fine, but S&T apparently doesn't have the technology for a functional app. You can check balances and that's it. I've come to rely on banking apps so will probably change banks over it.

App requires you to enter your password every time you open the app even with fingerprint enabled. S&T has quite possibly the worse app in banking to my experience.

I have to uninstall the app, restart my phone, and then reinstall the app. Go thru the authorization process again only for it to work for 2 days. Start allover again. It worked fine on my old phone Samsung s4 but not well on my new phone Samsung Note 9.

This app doesn't save my passwords, let me sign in with a finger print or tell me what is wrong or if there fixing what is wrong with the app ever, the app is down again. A bank app, the way I see and manage my money, is down again with no explanation. What reason is there to use this bank or app over any other because I can't find one
