S0undTV for Twitch

Great app. Using on my Nvidia Shield. With the changes to Twitch's API it's one of the few that actually work currently. Only issue I've found thus far is that it won't play sub-only vods, even if you're subbed to the streamer and your account is linked. Otherwise great with an overly simple design which I appreciate.

Decent replacement for the twitch TV app which has video issues on the nvidia shield and doesn't look like it's going to be fixed.

The app is great, MUCH better then the original one. I wish it could sync Twitch's "Past Broadcasts" and resume where you left (if you watched on PC for example), but i guess that's a minor thing, that maybe can't even be done, but if you watch on S0undTV, it will resume where you left off, so no problem there. Also, the "Past Broadcast" (or "VOD History" as called in S0undTV) could have a better "skipping", since now, you can only "fast forward/backwards" for 3 minutes and that's it, so watching the LEC Finals and fast forward to 7 hours, took some time :D If you wanna skip to a SPECIFIC time, you can't, only 3 minutes forward/backwards, i wish it would be like "10/30/60/180/300 seconds skip" when you keep clicking the button, something similar that "KODI" has on Android TV (= Otherwise, the app is great and greatly recommended.

Really good app, lots of customization and the big hero is ofcourse the possibility to view BTTV/FrankerZ emotes. I only wish it was possible to customize the D-Pad on Mi Box controller to push right to open and close chat instead of swapping channels, because that is really annoying when you are watching a stream and you misclick and suddently you're thrown over to another channel, but else than that its solid as f.

Amazing Twitch app for my Android TV device. The interface is responsive, the video playback is almost immediate, and the app has options that you can use to optimize watching streams on a TV. I wish I'd known about the app earlier instead of suffering through the old outdated official Twitch app.

I find this better in most cases than the official Twitch app. Unfortunately it seems to lag anywhere between 5-10 seconds behind the same stream on the official app and Twitch website. Making changes to the buffer settings does not seem to make any difference.

Worked great for a few months. Yesterday I was logged out of my account and attempted to log back in. The problem occurs when entering the MFA code sent to me by email. I type the first number, then move on to the second field. When I enter the second number into the second field, it repeats the first number, and then all the other fields on it's own. I am unable to enter the verification code, and I am unable to clear the fields. This is dumb.

very good on my 4k box it runs smoothly, the Polish language of the application would also be useful

An incredibly slick and well put together app that allows me to watch Twitch on the big screen in full quality. Only thing missing is a PIP feature.

Great experience on Android TV. Vast improvement on the default Twitch app. A functional scrub bar is such a nice thing to have.

Fantastic app, much better than the official Twitch one which barely works now. Having the chat overlay on the video rather than next to it is a great feature I wish more Twitch clients had.

SO much better than the official Twitch app. However with the latest android update, i seem to be losing internet connection after a while, it only seems to happen with this app (i am on Bravia X900E)

Great app! Only thing i can remark on is the control icons/buttons during playback, what do they do? The trees (?) for example?

This app is way better than the official one, but I do have a problem where chat doesn’t load 3/4 the time. If you can fix it it will be 5/5 for sure

after they updated the original app it makes it unwatchable for me - your app lets me watch streams with ease again. THANK YOU.

Better than the official Twitch app. Supports custom emotes (e.g. KEKW) and more customization. Also, no ads! :D

Twitch alternative app that exceeds the official Twitch app for Android TV. Which seems to be abandoned by the devs.
