With SA Group Text you can :
★ Import group Text from an Excel file via USB/Email.
★ Create your own groups in an Excel spreadsheet and send messages to them.
★ Insert tags ({nickname},{firstname},{lastname},{nickname},{company} etc) in your text message in order to create personalized messages. When you use this function, each message has a personal touch. For example: Dear {firstname}, Welcome to our dinner party.
★ Use any Excel-compatible applications to create your group text messages. Be sure to save as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook.
★ Send SMS to as many recipients as you need within your Excel file
★ Create a formatted Excel file easily. The file can contain only two columns : Mobile and Message. You can find more example spreadsheets on the app’s website.
★ Create flexible group SMS in your spreadsheet. For example “{family} Family – Practice Tomorrow at 5pm for little {kidname}!” becomes “David Family – Practice Tomorrow at 5pm for little Johnny!”. The names change over and over again.
★ Schedule your messages you want to send at a specific time.
★ Pause and resume schedules. You have to long press the schedule to access pause/resume option.
★ Import and send more 10,000 personalized messages in one time.
★ Send unsent messages. If the app is terminated while sending group sms, the app can continue the sending schedule after you launch the app.
★ Make send report and reply report.
★ The lite version allow you to send 120 messages each time, The full version has no limit.
★ If you provide the recipient's email address in the excel file , the same message will be sent to their email address. In order to send messages via email, you have toa. Enable send mail in the app’s setting page.b. set up an email account to send messages from it.c. add “Subject” and “EmailAddress” in the excel file. you can see the file sample-mail.xls in the app for detail.
Due to SMS limitation, each app can only send 100 messages within an hour. You need to install SA Group text plug-in to extend the SMS limitation.

Used to be a great app, but recently hasn't been working properly, stops in middle of sending, and yesterday stopped sending entirely (been getting code 96 - no quota) tried emailing but didn't get a response. Checked their website and send to download the lite version from there and email them for license code to get full version, so I did and still didn't get a response
Initially i was very fustrated. I couldn't get the messages to send. It seems either the app gets confused on the number of messages. Despite the fact that i hadn't sent any messages, there was message count at the top of the screen of 396. So i downloaded 5 of the sms plugins, giving me 500 sms per hour limit. After this i was then able to send my messages. The developers need to spend more time explaining how the app actually works.
While the interface is clean, intuitive, and minimal, the choice to force the user to browse for an XLS is unfortunate. Not many apps will produce a spreadsheet file on your Android device. Of them, those tend to generate XLSX files instead of the antiquated XLS format. I would gladly pay for a simple app like this if the developer took the time to enhance the method of inputting contact information.
I used to love this app - but recently with Samsung note 20 and above I am sending duplicate messages. (Meaning it sends double of the same message to all the people in the group.) There seems to be no fix.
The app is very good, but when I get numbers from my contact list and save them to an excell file, I successfully send them one message. If I edit some people's details like the First name in the excel file, Next time I select that excel list, it says "error Not column found titled 'Mobile' in row 284" . I have tried to find an error in the presented rows but nothing. Kindly fix it. But either way, the app is very great
This application doesn't seem to work with Android 10. Each time I try to send messages I am asked to grant background permission for plug in but there is no way of doing it in settings. The background restriction button is greyed out. It cannot work even after giving sms permission and removing battery optimization. What could be the problem? My clients need the application. Please give feedback
I send group-text announcements to four social groups every month. I have tried many apps to send group messages. This app the only one that does what I need: I can choose a subset of my contacts based on the "Label" field in Google Contacts. Other features look very good. . This is BY FAR THE BEST such app I have tried - BUT - setup is tricky: one must download a plug-in and give it permission, which is neither easy nor well explained. Minus one star for this complexity.
Good app. Would have been great if: 1. Can schedule. Tried to do it many times amd wasted a lot of hours. It cannot work. 2. Can send more. It is limited to 120sms only. 3. Asked to to download plugins to send more and cannot be done. Bottomline, for simple text.
Hi was very happy with the app previously however more recently it is duplicating and sending two messages. Please help! Tried to erase the app and reload -- same thing.
'SA Group Text Lite' is a great app. It's made my job easier. SOME PROBLEMS 1. why doesnt it support "xlsx" format as I'm using latest version of Excel. 2. Why do I need to tap allow button for every single message. I checked it on Samsung OS 7 also but that works fine.
It was perfect. I like it. Please repair it. After updates it is not working. When Im trying to load files. They are not accessible. Box apears /storage/emulated/0/ExcelSMS And nothing happens. I WILL PUT 5 STARS AFTER REPAIR ;)
Issue resolved -> I try to send the messages to 4 contacts in an excel sheet. but its getting failed again and again and providing the -> Fail(102) uid 10189 doesn't have Android permission Send SMS After developer's guidance, this issue has been resolved and this app is working perfectly.
very easy to use but i encountered a problem with the auto sms feature i created several files for autosms with this file format Autosms-birthday-02-26-2020-07-30 but i was sent out today jan 27, 2020, why is that? this is the send time it happened. Autosms-cathy birthday-02-25-2020-07-30 this one was sent out jan 25, 2020 as well. please fix this bug. other than that,. this app is really superb!!
after update it says download one group sms plug in... tried to download plug in but doesn't work. great app, but not currently functional. please fix asap. EDIT: Working again. Plug in downloaded after numerous attempts. Good to have this app working again.
Why i cannot send messages in back ground, it only send in foreground. When I switch to use other apps, it stop sending messages, when I switch back to the app, it send perfectly. I use Samsung j6+
I love the app so kudos to the developers,recently I upgraded to Android 10 and now the app won't send messages despite having the plugins,I've granted all permissions but its refusing to send messages claiming that I need to grant the plugins run in background permission.
Dear developer, after the feb 22nd 2019 update, the app can't send sms. It displays 'boolean' error when u try the send messages. Before the update, the app has been working well. Please help me
It's a great app but constantly tells me I sent 100's of text within the last hour and I haven't sent any in a day. I've downloaded 3 of the plug ins and refuse to download more.
As of 2/22/19 the actual (SA Group Text) app can no longer send SMS. You will get an Error. The only way to send SMS is through installing the (SA Group Plug-In 1) and then manually enabling SMS permissions for the Plug-in through system settings.
I can no longer setup this app to send sms by granting permissions. I can't setup it as default for sms. Now, when I send texts, I get all the messages in my outbox.
This app was great! But it has become unreliable. It sends out old files despite old files being deleted. Will not send new imports
Looked really good - till I went to send a bulk txt. It tells me I need to download a plugin, but the download never starts. Tried atleast 50 times. Wifi, 4g, no difference.
I love this app though it may not be optimized for Android 11, it's not sending sms despite having granted all permissions to the plugins
Dear SAMAPP Team.. I am waiting for your message since 6 months... but you didn't replied... 1 very important update required .. For Auto SMS, time should be accepted in hh:mm:ss format (dd-MM-yyyy-hh-mm-ss) It will be more accurate to send sms on fix time (start sending sms on specific seconds).. Like send Happy New Year Message exactly on 23:59:50 , so it get delivered to recipient exactly on 00:00:xx ... hope you understand and implement it... I also can pay for this feature to be implemented for specific user... with Regards
Very good. It works well. Just one thing i want to send some numbers with having point(.) but it converts integar number. Suppose i want to send 2.5, the app converts it to 2. Can you help me to solve this.
It's a good app. But it should also support excel xlsx format files . Presently it supports only excel 97 that is xls format only. pls take care it in next version or updation of the app.
In general this app is good one in my past experience. I can't uunderstand why it asks for atleast SA LITE PLUGIN to send our regular messages. And if at all it never download from Net always. Fed up with the Waiting process yo download this said plugin. Let me know what should be done please
I've tried over and over to use this on my android. It won't let you delete files or edit. It looks like this is great iPhone but I don't have that. If you can help me, then by all means but for now it's a no for androids.
Have not been able to open this program since upgrade to android 10 (essential PH-1) always worked well in the past though, hopefully a cause or fix will drop soon. Updated, I sent feedback/bug report to developer, realizing android 10 just came out and so few have been able to update to it yet. The developer promised an update with bug fix and delivered in a day! Outstanding!
