Okay, I have a Pro subscription. I can't even download songs with high-speed internet. Let alone the mobile data. I turned off data saver mode, turned on sync over cellular but no. It won't download a single song. I don't know what's wrong with it, I even uninstalled and installed it again. I'm fed up with this BS service. I'm cancelling the subscription and moving over to Gaana. Thanks to your developers.
The famous songs and artist can be found on all platforms. Saavn, a few years back didn't have a lot of indie artists. That changed. And that resulted in me paying for the service. The android app is good. I wish it had dark mode. The Windows App must be improved. It doesn't feel right. Crashes a lot. Minor bugs like it won't respond to play pause button sometimes. If this continues to happen I'll switch to Spotify as soon as it launches in India. Please fix your desktop app.
This app isn't optimised for Android 9, and that irks me to no end. Here are the problems I'm facing since Android 9: 1. No more Music Player banner in the notifications 2. Auto crashing. I'd play a song, and it automatically crashes, stopping in between a song. 3. Doesn't buffer music automatically often. In between songs, there are like a 5 minute gap, and I have to open the app to get the song to buffer. Then it doesn't take more than 5 seconds to buffer. If the developers could address these issues and get back, it would be great!
This is a wonderful app I would say. Just a little request, after the new update I can't see the background playback. There used to be a control panel for playback control earlier but not anymore. This is inconvenient if you are driving or so and want to switch the song/forward/pause/play etc as it was easy earlier right from the lock screen/home screen. Please fix this.
This app did work well initially. However while searching a particular playlist on this app in my phone I am unable to find the songs inside it. Its showing completely blank. The app is updated as well still nothing has changed. While it does show the complete list of the songs if I open it in the laptop. Why does this happen? The app is getting useless for me if this is going to happen with each n every playlist I'm gonna open. Need help
It has a big music database. Especially I like the Equalizer option in the player. But I would love if it had auto cache the played song for a limited amount of time at least. It's download doesn't seem to work properly on my device. It gets stuck while downloading songs. It's an 'ok' music streaming application. The premium subscription isn't at expensive either.
This is the most buggy music apps I've ever used from phone to pc. Random crashes, logouts,skipping. It has a good collection of songs but dear god these bugs are a real pain. Even after using this for over 2 years now I've seen no change in their attitude towards fixing bugs that was obvious to miss, like why cannot I use the media buttons in pc when I hover over it? I have to open the app and then pause the music if I want to, sometimes it just decides to close without an option of reporting the bug either. I'm changing apps after this subscription is done.
This is my favorite app amongst the bunch on the store but, it's disappointing. The developer don't seem to fix the long existing problems in the app. The search feature is garbage. It works sometimes or straight up doesn't. The music too sometimes is not playing at all even with a good data connection. I'm just fed up of the bugs but I'm not ready to swith to any other apps. Jut hope that the developers fix this.
The option to search for songs is sometimes a bit confusing. We have to type in the exact name of the song or album to get the result. I just wish it was was somewhat like Google ...so when you type in a name of the song or a album even if it's wrong (the spelling) it should show results similar to what we typed in. Also add Japanese songs . I can't find many Japanese songs.
The is very nice and lovely. but some things i want to see is that 1. if i select a song a list of similar type of songs should be generated as my playlist..which is happening also ..but after like 10-11 songs ,those same songs start to repeat..which is kind of annoying. 2. The search engine should be better ..like spelling errors should be traced. 3. mostly i dont remember the name of the song..but i remember lyrics ..so i would love it, if it allows can recognize the song by the lyrics.
By far the most irritating music app available on the market. I am into my 4th month of subsciption. Once all my downloaded songs have been automatically deleted and the app was logged out without even the phone switching off. And now most of the songs that I'm searching are shown as unavailable. They dont even respond to your e-mail. Please go somewhere else.
user interface is great. I am in love with it and it's lot easy to find albums and songs, one doesn't need to dwell much on searching.the only problem that came to me is that the playlists created by me are not arranged alphabetically and it makes harder to look for the playlist. it would be great if this problem gets solved. I will be thankful for it.
I have been using the app for about nine months with pro subscription. Everything worked perfect until now when the count of downloaded songs on my device has increased to 150+, the app just hangs in offline mode after playing 6-7 songs. Or keeps playing same 6-7 songs in the loop. Have to force stop the app and clear the cache to re-initate, only to be hung up again. I have a decent device with good storage and memory capacity, with minimal utilisation at any point of time. Seems like some bug fixes required here. Such poor in app experince is forcing me to switch to a different platform.
Yes, it's a very great app to use with almost all the songs from the world including the YouTube series song and that also in the free version, very data efficient and easy to use. And if lyrics are made available for the songs for sing along will be great. As this may be also be helpful and more enjoyable. Anyway 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.
The tech team behind the app are poorly experienced. The app experience is WEAK. For example: If you log out and log into the app using another phone - its a pain, as the app as many bugs are figuring out your subscription plan. Secondly, deleting a song from the playlist is a punitive process. It should be as easy as a left slide on your smartphone, with an option popping that should prompt asking "are you sure you want to delete - yes or no" thats it. The app development team needs to learn from Spotify, Apple Music or Sound cloud.
i have nothing against the content, i love it. the app is a different story. it starts playing randomly when you pause it and try to open some other app 20 minuts later. have been embarrassed in meetings on multiple occasions. i hope the developers take note. im using the app on a pixel 2 xl device. come on guys, Spotify can do it, so its possible for sure.
I have been trying to reach these idiots from centuries now. There is no option of cancel subscription anywhere on the website or in the app as suggested in FAQs. I am not able to cancel the subscription and the subscription gets renewed on its own every month. This simple feature should be easily available and visible. I have searched everywhere but it can't be found anywhere in my account where it is supposed to be. I have written so many emails but have got nonsensical replies. There is no phone number to contact and get the issue resolved.
I would actually give it a 5 for the content it has but my problem is with the software. When I'm listening to music and pause it, after a while when I'm doing something else on my phone the music starts playing. When I open the open it actually says the song was paused but that's not the case. I was using an iPhone before and thought it was an issue with my iPhone but then I changed to Samsung and the problem persisted. We are all paying the subscription and I don't think a problem ever exit.
Even though I have a good broadband connection and all video and audio sites keep running properly, after some time of usage this app keeps telling me - Check your internet connection or having difficulty playing song and none of the songs would play. It never happened before but started appearing almost a month back. And no matter whether you kill the app, upgrade it this issue still persists. Very frustrating!
Hey Saavn! I am an old user of your service and have never been disappointed. But from a few weeks, I' ve been experiencing several shutdowns of your app. The song that is played stops immediately in between. Due to this, I have to face a lot of issues. Also ads. They are now playing more than my songs. I will only give three stars. You lost two stars because of the unexpected shutdowns and tremendously long ads. Hope you'll look into this. Thank you!
