Viewing from device really cool and clear. Excellent app. Definitely news on the go. Great sound and clear pictures. No hiccups. Definitely recommended for the busy man in the office and local people in busy households where there's only one TV Set and many viewers but different channels want to be watched. Mobile is the way to go.

The live TV feature does not auto-tilt the screen to horizontal when you tilt your phone horizontally. It only allows for portrait viewing which clearly offers limited viewing. Terrible user experience and silly oversight that could have been otherwise avoided.

It's a very good app especially with the radio stations. I stay updated about what's happening in SA and across the continent. The only thing which bothers me is that when watching the live news it stays on portrait even if screen is rotated . Fix that please for full screen viewing . Other than that i love it.

Quite a nice app with very useful features. I used it to listen to SAFM, but unfortunately, I have had to get an alternative app because when my phone goes on standby, so does the app, and it's really frustrating to have to put my password all the time and go to the app to get it play my favorite radio station.

The app doesn't automatically stop streaming when it disconnects from Bluetooth so you continue to hear audio through the phone speaker. There also isn't a setting to stop streaming when disconnected from WiFi so you will waste data if you forget to manually stop the app when outside of WiFi range.

The concept of the app is good. The news feed is almost awesome but the "Listen" feature is problematic. It keeps buffering as if thats not enough, it keeps "timing out". Third party apps are way better. My expectations were that the app will meet all my meeds simce its an official app but Nah.

Pauses at times when listening to radio. Doesnt want tl close app. Even struggling namanje. I love that it has all the radio stations so I can change between them. But please work on its weaknesess. Otherwise, we thank you for having it.

Not bad for a start, straight to the point and simple...i think the navigation needs improvement, little slow navigating to different menus, buffering as well and 4k streaming would be great...the exit button does not work, no way of existing the app..great start though!

loving the app as I am now able to stream radio but the issue is that it keeps on disconnecting(app crash) and I have to re-open the app then connect again to start the streaming which is really frustrating to say the list.

it's a very good app we been waiting for it for a very long time but there are errors you must work on as well. First is a screen maximizer and secondly slide watching for videos otherwise thank you very much you did a great job. . now I'll give you three 🌟 for that.

Brilliant application, been waiting for this for the past five years. Please put in a Sleep Timer, so that I can listen to a radio and set it for e.g 40 minutes to switch itself off while I'm already asleep.Also fix the stoppage that happens when the fone locks.

This is the poorest app I have ever used, it freezes when listening to the radio and watching the news. When you are listening to the radio in the background it abruptly cuts and you have to go in the app to open it again. Very poor

Great app but I am still not happy that I cannot navigate back using the phones back control (<) . Fix that and I will never go back to News24 app which is too commercial. Update 7 Oct 2021: Thanks you for fixing the above. Now I can open this App read news without getting irritated.

The digital stream on RSG delivers poor audio quality. It crackles like an FM radio and often pauses and stutters, this while I can watch Netflix over the same connection without a hitch.

This thing cuts out a lot when you are listening to the radio, I've had to replay it 3 times in a space 10 mins or so, it's nice invention for the SABC, Please fix the bugs.

I can never listen to the channel I want to as it never opens it in time! PLEASE fix the bugs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nope, not working at all.

Good job indeed. but you need to improve the App little bid ,things like full Screen mode is very important when watching,Volume too low as well as Exit option. otherwise great stuff

Volume is too low... even when it's on maximum on my phone and secondly one cannot watch video in full screen mode...Such basic things, really disappointed.

This app uses to much mobile data. 10Mb just to open the app. It is fine if you have FREE WiFi but video streaming on 3G/4G is very expensive on this app. I dont seem to find PretoriaFM radio station, is it not part of SABC radio stations?

Its a nice and easy app ever to acces,but it doesnt have an exit where you can link if you want to go out or leave it,it just stuck unable to go out,so they must improve such things,anyway thanks SABC news.

Had to delete it because it just does not do what it is supposed or purported to do. Latest news-aren't, Africa news-it just freezes, it is just a waist of precious time and becomes a stress and an unnecessary frustration

The app is impressive so far. The live stream buffering is very slow and it needs improvement, especially adding 4K streaming.

so installed the app...opened it...but cannot close it...I have to close all my apps to get out of this one. not good at all. I have a Samsung A6. News still stuck on 12 April. And nowhere can i see that you reply to any review!

Nice layout but requires way too much resources. Takes too long to load stories. Too scared to view videos. Freezes alot. Deleted.

Good app, clear audio quality. What is bad the app just stop playing after few minutes and always needs refresh even when allowing background play.

What's good? I get to read the latest news from SABC. What's bad? When I listen to a radio station, it will stop playing after 5mins. I have close and open the app or press play several times. It's a bad app.

To say the least, open the 702 radio app and take notes. Show Line ups, dedicated UI for radio and podcasts. User Experience folks, you can do better than this

Maybe because it's still new but live streaming sucks and drops at anytime, also at one stage couldn't watch full screen. The radio is OK and so is the news articles. I've now reverted to watching 404 on dstv now.

Nice app but please fix radio streaming it keeps on being interrupted almost every 1 to 2 minutes and takes times to play audio again.

This app is really slow for me especially when used with mobile data. I think there are minor improvements needed. Nonetheless, thank you for the app.
