The wonderful experiences and splendid sights of those journeys were telecast by Asianet as ‘Sancharam’, a realistic visual travelogue. The viewers, who have always been fond of travel and knowledge, welcomed ‘Sancharam’ with great exuberance.
In his turn, Santhosh George went about capturing in his camera the sights of the various lands, which the viewers haven’t seen and presented before them the diversity of world countries, as they longed to see. After 16 years since he had started travelling, ‘Sancharam’ has turned out to be an exclusive, round-the-clock exploration channel. And that is Safari.

Very nice app...very helpful when you don't have televison while travelling....keep it up
Any plans to release a version for andriod tv? I tested this apk on andriod tv, but the resolution had gone for a toss and also the remote keys doesnt work. It would be really great to have an andriod tv version of Safari as these days smart tvs are gaining more tractions. Opening in broswer is an option but then it wont be a replacement for a dedicated app.
Best channel. period. Now the app is great...they updated it with everything i had complained about... I strongly suggest such a minimalistic redesign for safari's website too. Also i recommend adding features like online purchases/DVDs/books etc. just like in the website A lot to go! Cheers!
I am giving this rating for the channel and its contents rather than for the app. The app could be more userfriendly with options of fast-forward inbuilt. Also interface could be more agesensitive. Not all could navigate through this app easily.
The Best Paltform for anyone whom love to learn anything. Love it from the beginning when he started doing Sancharam, then from there to this. Love it. Always an inspiration. :) Have a few suggestions in the app would make it always a step ahead. * Quality Resolution options in videos. *Please make a team whom can provide English Subtitle as well Thus this programme will reach to more audience. :)
The app is so straight forward and good in almost all aspects. Still there are some minor improvements that can be done. An option to change the quality or resolution of stream is necessary.
Safari channel is the discovery channel of Kerala. I see 'Sanchariyude Diary Kurippukal' every week on TV. I recently started going to hostel. Nowadays I see the episodes on the Safari TV app. Thanks a lot for setting up this app. It is very helpful and flexible. I can see any episode at any time.
Most all the programmes are really nice and it'll give we people more knowledge about most things around us. i like to watch Sancharam all the time.. But, my only problem is with your Android App ,it doesn't function properly. App take too much time to load the programmes.
safari TV app is available for Android TV ?
All the programes of safari TV is up to the mark. .but Very sorry to tell this for a long time when we open the app it is very slow to open and the videos are buffering. Please do not ignore this.
For the past few months I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app as I can't see the live TV. Not only on my phone but I've tried this on different devices.Kindly do the needful to rectify this.I love this channel and watch it whenever I do get an opportunity.
App is very helpful to explore world by visual and knowledge. App can be improve better ways sometime its lagging while playing videos. I have given 5 star for the good values that safari TV have. Wow. New design. I didn't expect that from a Sancharam channel. Refreshing new look and ease of access to previous uploaded content. Loved it. Sacharam is a top show and I have been an avid viewer. Keep up the good work team.

Can't select the resolution! Even if we select the resolution from the bottom-right drop-down menu, it automatically switches into "Auto". Please look into the issue.
The best tv channel I have ever seen. It has very beautiful and useful tv shows. I love it. When there is no electricity in home, this app helps to watch the Safari TV channel live. I love this app.
Application is good but it has stopped working about two days back. Each episode is eagerly waited to be watched. But to the dismay it has stopped functioning. NB: It is back to normal on 5/9/20.
Safari channel and app are very informative but for about a month videos are buffering and takes lot of time for loading. I hope this issue gets solved.
I can stream 4k videos on other video streaming services, but Safari TV app struggles to stream even at lowest resolution. It's an unpleasant experience. Btw, I love Safari TV programmes.
Very good app. I see lot of comments says that the live TV is not working. That is absolutely wrong..... The live TV is working and it is a very good app.
I was missing this channel in my cable operators catalogue but this app with cast option made me happy! Only wish is if the channel can be viewed in HD so that the video quality matches the content quality it is famous for.
The telecast is breaking very often on this application. On TV it is quite OK. Kindly resolve this issue. I am regularly watching this channel on TV, but sometimes I have to resort to watch on my mobile device when this problem is encountered.
Live tv is ok but there are issues with old episodes playing. It's taking too long to load even if we have faster internet. Please fix the bug.
App is good but unable to view full screen in mobiles .can you add an option to wide the screen as like YouTube.There is no option to change video quality too .I hope you understand our concers.
1080p video clarity is not upto the mark on chromecast,looks like 480p and flickering too,,live videos are just like on 40 inch TV,, very poor quality!!
Please add cast option also. It will give a good viewing experience in big screen. Some time video get hanging while playing. With these changes app is 5 🌟.

Safari TV is the only one of its kind in India. The programmes have well researched, well narrated and informative content.
Safari chanel is knowledgeable chanel. All programs also high standard, But whenever i try to watch live program or old video, always it's showing loading..loading...loading.. then what is the use of this app. Specially 9.30 pm to midnight. I am charging internet for watching this chanel but no use.
it was what we had been looking for. A much awaited updation of the Safari channel's app make me greatly happy. The great thing is that it has been packed with the facility to watch our favourite past programs at our convenience. Safari has become one of the best exploration channel in any language of the world. I was an avid viewer of this channel since its launch. The live program's window is not as fit to the screen as that of old programs. Hope it will be fixed. With best regards.
