SAFE
The application follows the benchmarks and global standards provided by Mitre Corporation, US, CIS(Center for Internet Security), US and uses data sources like NVD(National Vulnerability Database) by NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology), US and Android security bulletin by Google to determine the SAFE score.
The SAFE score is a number from 0.01 - 5.00. The higher is the score, the better is the security status of a device. The overall SAFE score is derived from four verticals on which the device is monitored viz. Device Settings, Active Connections, Installed Applications, and the Operating System. After security assessment, we get the following scores corresponding to the verticals indicating the security status and we create the SAFE score using these numbers using the patent-pending model:
Configuration Score is a security score measured by sensing the device configuration setting such as device encryption, screen lock type, sleep duration, etc.
Connection Score is a security score determined by assessing the state and the configuration of the network connection like WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, etc.
Application Score is a security score evaluated by performing the basic security assessment (manifest analysis) on the installed applications.
OS Score is a security score measured by analyzing the maturity of the underlying operating system. It is obtained by identifying the security issues in the OS using the device's security patch version and data source from NVD(National Vulnerability Database) and Android security bulletin.
The application also allows users to improve the security posture of the device by redirecting the user to change the insecure settings pertaining to the active connections and the device configuration. It also helps users to understand permission distribution across installed applications and accordingly delete the unnecessary applications that are taking too many permissions.

It says I need to change settings that are already set the way they suggest, and it claims apps have permissions that my OS settings show I've specifically denied. So it's not accurate at all. And going in to my settings to confirm ever single one is a pain. At least if it would automatically take me to that permission it wouldn't take me so long to double check that they are repeatedly wrong.
Potentially good, but inaccurately reports several settings and takes a hit on my security score because of it. On my Pixel 3 XL it says I have "speak password" enabled when I don't, and says "install from other sources" enabled when I don't. Those and a couple of others.
Simple app for a quick overview of your device security. Score system pointless as you can't change the lowest score which is your OS. You may like to be safe but after all your OS is the biggest security risk so is going through all these suggestions really doing anything as its the device itself that's the biggest security risk 🤔
Seems like a good app to check your security settings. However the developer needs to update the app based on Android 9 version. It is simply not able to detect the right security settings of the device and gives a wrong score.
pretty useful as to show all in one place. application view is useless because no filter on "bad" applications. Also showing "voice passwords" when all available voice options are disbled, so, likely, a "false positive".
It's a good app. Tells you many things that could be a security threat. But I would have loved if I could ignore certain things that I know I am willing to remain open so that I could get a better score. But not cutting starts for that since its not really a show stopper.
Need to improve and continuous update. Does not support fully for Android 9. unknown app sources, Sim lock and speak passwords are not detected so it always show negative. Application analysis should be improved. Rest were good. If there is no vulnerability then it gives 4.20 / 5 as max score. Hope this has some substantial proof for the score allotted.
Does not go beyond analysing apps .. shows message 'select at least one app' flash message and goes on for hours. reset to factory mode and tried still the same... disappointed after hearing so much about you folks!
make a update from where user can directly disable permissions from your app rather than going to app setting and disabling.. and u can make a update where it shows us which permission is necessary and which is not for the app just make sure of this two updates!! Thank you!!
I guess it's soothing in a way, to watch the "analyzing apps" page cycle... the way that listening to hold music is soothing. If that kind of purgatory is what you're into, then this is the app for you.
This app make me disapointing because it open and saw the white screen and write analysing app i have waited for 5 hours but it dosen't work. I started to googling but no reason found. I have uninstall and reinstall serval times but no working.my android verson of my mobile is 8.0! But it dosen't work.that's why idecided to rate 1 star. If you fix this reply to my feedback and i will reinstall this app.
The app is very informative and simple to use while checking the security of your phone and installed app. Also gives score based on security settings. Must try app.
Amazing application. One click solution to check your device maturity. Easy to use and self explanatory interface. Loved it.
An Excellent App. You get to know how vulnerable your phone is ( susceptible to hacking). That is - how much SMART (or actually unsmart) you really is in using your SMARTPHONE.
Does not work. Scanning for 10-15 minutes. Sometimes a toast says select an app, but there are no apps to select.
It keeps rotating by saying ( Analyzing app ) and says ( Please select at least one app ). I wait half and hour but app doesn't start I've tried reinstalling too.
in just 2 mins safe app shows me my score and i dont have speak password and etc things so this app is really helpful to insure that your smartphone cant be hacked so this application is really good interface is good and the size is really good without any permision asking this app will check all your securities so at the last app is really good i also tried lucideus unhack app and they really worked hard on this app good work team.
Its been approximately 236 years since my great great great great great grandfather tried to open this app and got stuck on 'analyzing apps' screen and it is still loading to this day, And i am so happy to be a part of this, to see this day . I hope my grandchildren will also see this beautiful and annoying analyzing apps screen.. i wish their grandchildren also might not get through that screen and hinder our family long running tradition.. It previews the phone's information and gives a detailing about risk factors and its precautions one should follow. It should be a must used app no one in India or any other developer have so far developed this type of app and best part is its totally free.
Think it has an issue with Android Pie. Analyzing Apps but goes on for ever and the buts a bar saying select an app, nothing happens (Oneplus 6)
Its not working! Screen is struck on spinner showing that something is getting analysed but, it never ends.
This is a very helpful app...to know the security level of the phone.....before installing i saw the review of 1stars all complaining that it does not work....but it totally works on my mobile.
like many others, I cannot get beyond the dnake chasing its tail! Then I occasionally get told yo choose an app, where from, I can't see sny apps shiwn by the the app.

Twice I let this app run for hours (cleared app data & cache in-between). never got past the point where it analyses app data.
Does not seem to support android 9 that well in that it identified deficiencies in my device that were not true. Advice to mitigate said deficiencies did not apply in most cases to android 9. Deinstalled.

I downloaded this app many months ago, but it has never worked on my phone. It makes it to the "Analyzing Apps" screen, but never past it. I've tried letting the app run for 24 hours, but no joy, it was still "Analyzing Apps." I've periodically tried reinstalling it a few times, but that didn't help. I tried googling a solution; nope. So, I thought I'd hang onto it for a while to see if the next update fixed anything. . .and, it's still broken. That said, today's the day, I'm done with it.
