This great and actually saves time, but now it has become a question in mind since I usually move with someone.... I request that you add a function where I can order two or so rides heading to the same destination because I can't always have to separate two rides from different phones as sometimes money is on one account. And add option of paying for another person from wallet.
It's difficult getting rider... Sometimes you won't know you've gotten order until the driver calls... My last experience was terrible as the last driver called and swear that that is how they will cancel my life, simply because I didn't know I've gotten a ride while I was trying to cancel ride and order again due to network.... Also, finding it difficult to top up my wallet from my bank.... Since then I've stopped using safeboda ooo
Edit: everything related to the app works as intended, but the map seem a little bit complicated to navigate with during a trip. The payment is intiated by the rider ~not(and only the rider can see the cost of the trip, this is not right in the case of a cash payment trip) true~. (Useful tip: if you get your first free ride coupon, use it on a trip that costs almost 400 naira.) One quick request, how about you integrate an online voice call into the app to reduce cost?
I appreciate the services you provide. However I request that you add a provision for ordering a second safeboda so that when you are travelling, say, like two people, you can use one phone to order for two safebodas. Thanks
The app is really nice, the challenge is when it comes to depositing, it allows only specific numbers with the so called "violating the rules of the app" if you can work on that update, the better so that we maybe able to use various numbers for depositing. Thanks
Very fine service, the only issue is tat I can't order for two rides to the same destination at the same time. I find that I always moe with someone. It becomes hard for me to order a ride because it is only one ride per time. When that is fixed, I will give 100000stars
User experience of this app is soooo gross, at times you'll search for 30minutes and not see a ride. Your riders too, a lot of them end up not going to your destination, this app should only show the riders open to your destination. As a product designer, I could join your design team.
It's very good, though many times delays to connect to a safeboda guy; safeboda guys don't want to operate on cashless for reasons best known btn them and the company. Some safeboda guys are deliberately too slow 🐌 🦥 so as to increase time for journey and get higher amount. All in all, Safeboda is convenient, cost effective to passenger (not sure though for the rider 🤔 😅 )
Now I can rate/recommend Safeboda App 5 Star+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💫🌟, because of the feature I have been expecting is now available on the latest safeboda app and that's the option of send money (sending money from a customer to another customer). I tried it out this morning, with my roommate and he was beside me, I make sure he was with me to check on the speed. I imported my contacts on the app, searched for my roommate's contact and sent him money. Guess what? It's faster than speed of light (3×108 m/s).
Yess it's services are great but their hotlines are not efficient the fact that they are not available on weekends. Services like these shud not have dayoffs because people might have issues on weekends and can't access the services. Plz try to improve. But other than that it's a great application for daily usage.
I recommend the app to be used I have used it for two years and every time I had an issue or complaint I raised it and it was fixed at all times, I advise my friends and all the rest to use the app because just like any business mistakes arise not by choice but they are solved so pardon their mistakes and look at the good you received from the service....thank you Safe boda
No good this time really, the rider took me, got lost along the way. Since my data was done, we were saved by asking from fellow boda guys. On arrival, the bill was inreased I think because of first getting Lost, and I was supposed to add, so disappointed I paid it and the rider still didn't give me my balance mbu he didn't have it, a journey that initially was ranged 7k-8k took 9k from me... So bad😡
I have been using this app for close to 6 years now. The experience has always been great despite a few hiccups. I however, have gotten a few concerns vis avis suggestions to share: Firstly, it's very true like some colleagues have already shared that your app sometimes takes long loading, especially when canceling trips, some of your riders are rude and have no customer care & others seem to never have credit to call. Plus, consider giving we your clients helmets as its too UNSAFE sharing one.
Pls! this is my first time trying to use the app but trust me its so annoying that i registered with my line and didnt get a code, then i decided to Use a friends number and i got the code. Right now i wanna edit the name i used to register, but nothing like Edit on the platform. So annoying... BANK sef dey edit number talkless of a mobile app. pls work on it. THANK YOU.
It's very annoying that you ppl just increase your price anyhow, I have always taken safeboda to work at the a rate of 250 but today it suddenly increased to 350. There wasn't traffic on the way, same distance and yet high rate. You guys are sick. After budgeting tee fare for a particular amount, you still went ahead to increase it all of a sudden am so disappointed in you guys.
Extremely great when buying airtime , data all other services . Except you have to add an option of calling as in adding both riders mtn and airtel bumbers
Pretty useful app. Safeboda revolutionised the boda industry in Uganda. Making it safer, cheaper and more reliable to travel on a boda. They are now trying to revolutionise the payment industry. If you don't buy airtime and pay for utilities using safeboda you are literally throwing away free money.
The riders are very good but the problem is with the maps. On the map, my safe boda was being shown to be taking another route far a way from me yet the guy was actually parked in front of me .
Your app is so frustrating when it comes to pay bills.... the networks are poor Sometimes i load money on the safeboda app and it doesn't load yet its been taken off from my mobile money.. Paying bills and it brings null 😡🤬 so annoying
The app is easy to use and reliable at the sametime, Safe Boda has become my day to day mode of transport because it is safe and less risks of theft like other boda boda riders. Much thanks to Safe Boda👏👏
So far All the riders I have used are amazing. But I have noticed bad ones when I am driving around. I'd suggest that you keep giving them refresher courses in road usage, communication and hygiene...thanks.
Ever since I updated , bugs only. I can't even order a ride. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but all in vain. Fix that please. It just says retry, unavailable, ... Get that looked into
Very good services. Only that the Boda guys doesn't always use navigation tool to locate you or take you to your destination. They mostly ask questions.
I have a bug, I had a ride last week (cashless) which is still ongoing until today. I tried calling customer support but it only stays on that automated voice telling me how I can top up my mobile money. Please fix these issues.
Of late the rates have gone high, it the app shows less money than what is charged at arrival...this is ridiculous. How do u tell me the journey will cost me 5500 and at arrival its 9500!... I gave up with safe boda
Some of the people you use need customer care skills, they are very rude mostly this whole finding change. I don't think it is the customer's responsibility to look for change. Let them engage the customer and find out whether or not they have big notes, so that change can be gotten to avoid exchanges...please handle that.
There is still a delay when you order so please solve it, Can't access notifications on the app if I didn't open them on time, You make the account two have both airtel and mtn, Wish the app can operate without data for atleast small tasks like deposits and orders, In case my phone is off, the safeboda guy should be able to make an order for me, In case I don't have money in my wallet give me a loan payable on next deposit.
Recently, rates have gone up but that's not an issue because it's fair when one knows how much it would cost beforehand. It becomes a problem when the final fare EXCEEDS the estimate stated (by up to 25% in my experience). 3 times in a row. And no, it's not an issue of traffic (duration) or distance (the map now tends to pick the longer route while the riders take the quickest).
