Used to work great, but has since gotten more buggy. Every now and then the title of the saints gets messed up with all these random symbols, making them impossible to read The audio completely doesn't work anymore, with the play and so buttons doing nothing. I stopped using the app and just go to the Franciscan Media website for the saint of the day now. This app needs good work.
Loved the old version but this one none of the buttons work including playing the audio. I'm so glad I didn't uninstall the previous version because that audio does work.
Isnt the icon too small to even notice? Was it done on purpose? I find it too small to always overlook it…hard to say that it even existed on my phone! It looks too any compared to the standard size of other apps. Not sure about the purpose of this small size? Do I need some setting change?
I love this app! The very brief audio about each saint's life is the best!~ You do have time to learn about the saints. Additionally, you can read a more thorough saint bio & search within the app. A great app to have & organization to support. ❤️
I have a new Samsung S 20. App freezes up. No audio. I uninstalled but will try again in a few months. The website is great.
I always wonder how the Church Fathers were able to keep the Tradition of the early Christians which has maintained the history of these Saints. Infact, TRADITION AND SCRIPTURE is truly the work of HOLY SPIRIT. I have personaly benefited a lot.
Great idea. Needs someone to assist the developer by editing lots of text, including removal of & ; etc from Saints' names. This week only 2 of 7 days have the correct Saint shown on the correct day. For Catholics it is a greater benefit to honour a Saint ON their memorial day.
Wonderful app. I learn a lot and it encourages and humbles me. It provides you with varous examples how to live a meaningful life for the greater glory of God.
On Friday 8th May 2020 the Saint was not displayed properly on the screen. The program went wrong. I do like the app.
I use to love listening to the SOD readings but now the audio button no longer works on my Android.
This app allows me to start my day with some inspiring thoughts about the saints. It's quickly becoming my morning habit.
Great. Read about Saints that other apps focus on, merely mentioning another Saint shares that day- other apps seem to imply that their Saint of the day written of, is the most significant.
Please add an option to make the text larger. Besides that, great app.
My only complaint is that the daily saint bios rarely include any dates or years, for historical reference.
I have been inspired by the lide of th saint even in a short story. The music and format ofvthe app is grest.

It is ok. But I don't find Saint Alphonsa. The app needs to be updated. But I don't see any update option.
It's been 3 years since this app was last updated, I'm surprised Elijah feast day is not on the 20th July as he is the spiritual Father of the Carmelite order.

I enjoy starting my day by reading about Saint and how they were inspired to live the word of God.
using version 2.2.4 on my samsung a10+ ; text works fine, as does the calendar feature. However, pressing on the four bars on the top left from the main window causes the app to hang. If I go in into the app info screen and click on those same four bars a menu comes up on the left (as is presumably expected). The playing of the sound file does not work (app just says Player Status STOPPED). Pressing on the play symbol causes the app to mostly become unresponsive - with no sound being heard; can not for example click on 'Calendar' once this happens. Hope this info will help in making the app better. God bless.
