This is a scam the app wont open. "This app has stopped". I contacted Sakar. The device will not work unless you sync it to the app.No help.they say GNC produced the product and the app and is out of business. I am returning the tracker and they should close down the Sakar fitness apps!
I just want to know why I get a Bluetooth, with no password that comes with it. I was so excited for this; however, it seems like everyone else is right about their low ratings.
This stupid POS won't ever sync the data. It's impossible to use this for motivation when it takes 20 minutes to try to log your info. I hate that I wasted my time and money on it.
Synced just fine the first time. When I accidentally let the battery die in the wrist band, I had to re-sync it and the app has crashed every single time.
I have to re-sync after it dies, and it never does sync with my phone. Do not waste your money on any of these products!

This app hardly works at all. I installed the Vidonn Smart Band app instead. It works much better, plus it notifies you of incoming texts by vibrating the band and displaying a text bubble on the display. None if these apps work very well however, unless your phone supports Bluetooth LowEnergy (4.0).
The band won't connect to my phone or the app. Customer service was so very very rude! He yelled at me to press and hold the triangle over and over as I tried to explain what it was doing in a firm voice because he yelled at Mr he hung up. I emailed and got no response. The Web address for support is not valid. Don't bother! Spend a extra $20 and get something else.
The GNC Fitness band was a waste of time. Glad I was able to return it. The unit stopped charging after just 3 days. And it only synced when it felt like it. So my recommendation is don't waste your time no matter how much you think you'll save. Better to pay more and get a good one that meets your needs.
I bought this band on Black Friday for $20. I should have known better. I was fooled by the GNC branding on It. It won't connect to my phone half the time. I walked 4 laps around my house (about 80 steps) and it read 31 steps. The app buttons don't work 1/2 the time either. Don't waste your time or money on this POS!!!
It does sync sporadically on occasion. Never shows or allows connection on my Bluetooth connection. Typically grayed out in the app but sometimes shows red. The alarm works if you set it on the phone. If the blue light is working and I walk away from my phone, it buzzes. So, it's connected somehow. But it's more gimmick than device. A geeky looking cheap watch. Don't waste your time or money. Oh. And if you sit next to someone with an I Phone, apparently with an apple watch, it buzzes constantly.
Don't waste your money. Tried twice to get help from customer service. Their only solution was to reinstall app. When that didn't work they wanted me to send them back at my expense to be replaced. Guess this just proves you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
Complete junk. If your looking for an expensive piece of plastic for your wrist, with zero functionality this is the app.. and GNC fitness trackers are for you! 1st year android programmers write better apps then this half baked junk.
Having bought this and installing the app and reading the reviews I was very apprehensive about it's functionality. The pedometer worked fine for me, was way easier to hook on my shirt and walk than it was to strap on my phone like I used to do. I just keep it on all day. Only problem I had at first was that it kept saying when I tried to bluetooth sync,' pin pass code key incorrect.' I kept trying n miraculously it synced. I'm pleased it works as it says it would. Do give it another try! It's very handy.
The app does not function. Though after calling tech support and syncing it. The functions never seem to work. It will not measure any metrics unless you set it to work out mode. And even then the app won't measure it but the device will. It's a total waste. I've had better for a whole lot less. I just thought it would be worth the try to "upgrade" clearly that was not a wise move on my part...
