Sally's still hasn't raised the bar on quality. They're like the Forever21 of the beauty industry. Cheap fast beauty. Products with harmful ingredients. No standards on staff. A big deficit is actual targeted hair problems. Ex- You can't find anything specific for hair porosity problems or water resistant hair. Sally's is too busy looking "cool" and has no time left for intenionalisn. And "healthy" products aren't properly vetted. Green washed.
usually I am happy with the app. but I cant seem to get what I need it just keeps loading or it tells me that there is no hair color at all. if you could possibly fix this error that would be awesome! thanks for your time.
Can't update my address, can't search through the inventory and all of a sudden it doesn't remember I have a reward program that I've been earning points for for at least 3 years. I hate the app a lot. I don't know why it's like this, it was functional before.
Customer service is excellent. I've had a couple complications while trying to order but every time I call I'm never on hold too long and they always are nice, friendly and very helpful, Rhonda at Customer Service is amazing and went above and beyond for me!
For the store being so amazing, your digital tools are trash, love you tho! I'm sorry but the app is still terrible 2 years later, how are the approval ratings so high? Who's giving this app 5 stars, between constantly being able to purchase items that are not in stock, to it locking up, it's a blemish on the brand for sure, stick to whoever seems to have made the website better and just get rid of this app, it's Mariah Carey in Glitter bad, it's Gigli level bad, it's Trump's hair color bad
Was trying to make a purchase and do store pickup. Next thing I know, there was a security prompt. Did what it asked and got an error message. Then everything in my bag had completely cleared out. This app used to work just fine a year ago. I don't know what's going on but I may as well us the site.
I can click through the whole app, but I can't put anything in my cart. I tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and same result. Nothing can be added after the last update.
Im having issues with signing into my account. It keeps saying that my login/password is incorrect. So I went ahead and reset my password and it still saying the same thing. I was able to login in the app at least.
App is not working on Google pixel. Tried several different times to shop using app however all I get is buffering, white screen. Please fix the app. This has been going on for months.
Love the app! The mobile website was giving me problems so I downloaded the app and logged. My cart was saved. So much better than the website!

They have the best products. i don't think I'll be buying from other beauty supplies. Im so excited to have start purchasing. my products from them. it's a little bit pricy, but it is well worth it.
App rarely opens anymore. Just says there's a security problem, and won't load past the captcha page. Pretty stupid. Update: 04/18/21 - unable to use app at all anymore, due to "security" problem, but I can log in just fine using a browser. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well.
love the store and the products. The app isn't the greatest on my end. I have alot of issues with placing orders and such. lots of bugs. overall love the store, products and employees. they're awesome.
Idk what is going on, but I can't even shop at all on the app. I get endless error, blank pages and app shutting down.
New update... Looks fine, except when I go to the Shop tab....... nothing happens, it's just blank. Think y'all forgot something.
Super glitchy, I tried to type a review on a product and didn't even bother finishing to type it out as the app kept adding double letters or repeating parts of whatever word I was typing and I had to keep going back and fixing it every 2 seconds.
App is annoying. Works sometimes then just won't work other times. Always pretty slow too
This app is impossible! I literally have to switch between clearing my cache and my shopping cart just to move one item at a time from "in store pickup" to "ship to me", and it still takes the app 30 seconds to a minute for each request to process if it even does. App is SO slow. Frustrating almost to a point of shopping elsewhere. Also, if the product isn't available at "my store", it shouldn't even give the option of checking that delivery method, just personal opinion.
No stars I've never got to order on the app because it gives me problems every single time I've earned rewards and points by shopping at the local stores but this app sucks and after seeing the first handful of reviews I browsed please just shut it down..
Their app in all its versions seems to be lacking. I think the severe issues with including reward or coupon codes are resolved, but the app really lags. I click "Add to bag" and by the time it actually adds it, I've already clicked it again because I thought it didn't take. The categories are super broad, which should make it easier to find something, but you end up having to add a bunch of filters, which the app doesn't like. I think a great company should have a great app!
I'm having all the same problems, the glitchy at times, but can't do anything without the "Security Issue" message popping up and then off and on and off and on.....really quite annoying and don't understand how the people running the app don't know about it or just haven't fixed it for some odd reason, but it DOES NEED TO BE FIXED, if it keeps running the way it is there won't be an app to run cause everyone will surely delete it! I Love the app when it's working properly
Good app, very responsive. Doesn't give accurate stock of products or brands that are represented in store, but its slowly updating. I like that you can use the rewards in-store, and I like the descriptions and ingredients listed. Usually accurate descriptions. I wish they would list the ounces of product in the descriptions. You can't always see it on the pictures.
It doesn't function that well. I mean, you can browse stuff and make purchases, but the "try on" feature looks like a bad snapchat filter, and you can't check what your local store has in stock. Plus every time I open the app it shuts my music off. Kind of a pain. Not any better than the website, might as well just save the space on your phone.
First off let me say this is one of the best realistic apps I have ever used. I'm a hairstylist and I'm always changing my hair color so I love this app!!!!!!! I think it's also great for people that use Sally's products which I don't because I buy professional products but you can try all the different brands and colors to get exactly what you want. Plus you can finish your look with makeup to see the finished look 💄💋
Wow, Idk what happened but this all is painful to try and use. I had it on my old phone and used it about 6-8 months ago and it was kinda slow but it still worked fine. Got a new phone and just reinstalled it and I can barely get it to function, it just loads forever. I literally had it open loading for 30 minutes while I was dying my hair, so I just closed it. Will be deleting it.
It's better than using the webpage to order items. The interface is easy and the product colors are more reflective of the true color, which is definitely a benefit when you are buying hair color or cosmetics. However I can't say it's a huge time saver when compared to shopping off the web and I really wish they would have an opportunity to livechat with a representative. The in-store experience will always be a lot more informative but then you lose out on the digital coupons.
Good Morning I simply love the New Sally's Beauty Supply App and am giving the app a five star rating because it makes shopping easier for the things i need. I also am impressed with the Color view option, by allowing you to view what it would look like using your camera before you purchase. It really takes the guess work out of finding all that Sallys has to offer. The app is fun, innovative and easy to use. I love it!!
Website and app both have a buy 2 get 1 free promotion. Added 3 items included in sale to my cart on both website and app. Even went through to the checkout. Never took the cost of the third item off. Idk if it's a glitch or just a poorly designed sale, but I will be shopping somewhere else.
