Works but not as many features as other apps. Features that would be beneficial would include the ability to set up automated text reminders to your guests, when rebooking have an option to create a standing appointment, see the entire guest history or at least the last 6 visits and what they were for and keep no-show guests on the book so we can remember who they were and if they are habitual offenders
K.I.S.S. I used to love Salon Iris back when it had a simple user-friendly UI and excellent technical support. In recent years, this app's functionality has really suffered. SI is super slow and frequently has issues connecting with the server, keeping us from being able to access our schedules remotely when we need to.
Since your update on Dec. 1 I can no longer find formulas it has been replaced with notes ..this is a problem..where are my customers formulas
Salon Iris I'm so disappointed in you. I used salon Iris for years, but after my business blew up it just doesn't do what in need easily or efficiently. Their app which is what my business uses mostly doesn't have most of the features. You have to log into the "cloud" on a desktop ( it's not mobile friendly) and my salon is ran on tablets and not desktops. Huge inconvenience! You can't call and talk to help unless you pay for it, and the chat you wait for 30 minutes. I'll be switching soon.
I wish the mobile app couldn't swipe to move appointments, too easy to make a mistake, and that the online desktop version had an easier way to skip to multiple stylists (IE ahead 2,4,6, weeks, and then back to today.)
I use it daily. I wish there was a way to book appts with out having the computer on, then maybe when the computer is turned on, the receptionist can confirm appts made off hours. Food for thought
Latest update took away key features. Not happy about that. I want to be able to customize my schedule into 15 minute increments again, and I do not like that I cannot resize the columns. It makes it a massive pain to see everyone's schedule, and it jumps around each time it *updates* to the most current version of the schedule. When you flick over to the next few employees, it bounces around and seems buggy. Please for the love of all that you find holy, PUT IT BACK
Completely pointless. I got the app so I would be able to schedule appts on my phone when I am not at my salon. In order to do that, my business computer and salon iris has to be on and open 24/7. I am not going to leave my computer running 24/7 to accommodate the app 🙄
Salon Iris is very easy to work with and very professional. I had an error message pop up when I tried to register, didnt think anything of it and was going to try again in another day or so. I got a call the very next day and was helped immediately. Natalie with their customer service was very nice and very helpful.
I love this app... it does everything our larger salon needs. We get a lot of business from our website provided. I would recommend this app for anyone in this industry, whether you are a large salon or an individual.
Love the how easy it is to manage appointments and you can even alter your services with out affecting the original service info. My customers love that they dont need to call the salon to book their appointments. I can book appointments at any time.
This app crashes All. The. Time!! I can't get into appointments it keeps shutting down. Even after updating it.
Horrible. It only keeps information half the time. Extremely uncooperative and unreliable. Don't use it.
I enjoy being able to access my schedule from anywhere. It would be awesome to have some sort of notifications for day of schedule changes and or additions for the salon staff/service provider.
Almost perfect, but I really need them to create a calendar widget! So I can see my schedule at a blink.
I use this application for school. It works great for what we need it for. I like that it includes a service list, as well as a client history log.
Great app to complement the web version. I can run my skincare studio on the go and access all the reports.
I was contacted within 24hrs asking me questions about my business. There is nothing on the app stating how much it costs. Its wasnt useful and there was no widget...
Everytime I got to text a client, it crashes. There isn't a new update.
Glitchy and I have not been able to access my formulas or previous visit history. Super annoying

The app is pretty glitchy! And still wont give me online appointment request notifications. I have made sure this feature is turned on in settings, my salon admin has double and tripple checked that I have permissions and i have contacted support multiple times. And they just say they aren't sure what the issue is. Also the app keeps kicking me out and i have to re-log in every time im using it. It is very frustrating to use now. It was fine over the past two years until 2-3 mo ago.
