Salt Lake County Library

This app is super slow to load up. It's been like this for years. I always thought it was my phone but then I got a new fast phone and it was still a slow app. Sometimes it doesn't even get past the logo screen. Fix your broken app slcolib.

I much prefer to use the app verses the website just because of the convenience and the app works well. The design needs a bit more work but it works and it's intuitive. My biggest gripe about it is it doesn't have a wishlist option at all. The overdrive app does and so does the slco library website so why doesn't this one? I NEEDS this feature. I would give 5 out 5 stars if they would just add this one feature.

This app has always been great to use but over the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to get past the logo page or even all the way into the home page it just continues bto load but nothing happens. Please fix.

I like the app, but since the latest update, it constantly crashes. I rarely use it now because if this problem. Please fix!

Functionality is minimal. Links to other services don't recognize the County library system, navigation is pathetically over simplified. Waste of time.

Easy to use. Getting more streamlined over time. Reasonable about fines, and actually helping avoid fines. I like the SLCounty events posted under library events. Good for kids and adults.

It lets you look up what you want, but man is this app slow.

Used to work. Now it just says offline. Uninstalled & reinstalled app same thing.

It's nice that now that the world has closed off to everyone I can still rent books

I love, love, love my Salt Lake County library app. It has been a lifesaver with the pandemic shutting down walk in libraries!

Now much slower than using web browser. Junk written by idiots

It won't let me return books, it has the button greyed out. It also doesn't work on audio books. It shows it's playing them, but nothing happens.

New version is better. Biggest complaint is that I suffered through the old version for so long

The older version was better. It took into account holds when showing the number of renewals available on a checked out item. Had to pay an overdue fine as I could not renew the item as shown! Would have returned it on an earlier library trip if I had known there was a hold on it. Please fix!

The old app was far superior. This app is a lot of work that just isn't worth it. It is easier to just log onto the website. It doesn't separate your requests so you have to go through the entire list to see statuses. No sort options. "New" millennial style interface but lost all real functionality. I wish they would go back to the old version or atlest not force people to upgrade.

Instead of sorting by category, please, please sort by due date! I had to pay fines the first time I used this app, because you changed it. I would give it a higher rating if not for that.

This new version is awful. The search for items doesn't work at all. I'm sitting here with a book from the library but when I filter search for that title or by author it says not found-nothing for anything is found. I'm uninstalling it. Maybe the next version will work like the last one.

Having problems reading some books. I check them out, go to read them, and it just says there was an unexpected problem. And now I can't return one of the books; the button is greyed out. So I can't read it but can't return it either.

Renewing items is a pain, how about a filter to sort by due date? Or don't make it automatically return to the top of the screen. Otherwise I really like it.

Easy to use, simple, very useful for frequent patrons of the library system.
