SALT - Watermark Your Photos

This app doesn't do anything except add text or layer photos in the most basic way. You can't create a watermark, because there is no function to adjust opacity/transparency. I have no idea why this has such a high rating, unless it is popular around senior centers, where basic added functions get confusing. What is in here is just a small fraction of what already comes in the stock photo editor functions of the most basic devices out there.

I would never have installed this app if I had known what it was like but the reviews were all positive and generic. This is not a watermark app. It's a text over your photo app which is a standard feature on every device included in the camera. A watermark is transparent, can be oriented within the photo so as not to interfere with the subject and can include a copyright. Additionally, the app doesn't state until it is installed that you must pay for credits to use the app once the initial 60 credits are spent. Uninstalling immediately. Smh, I'm not even disappointed ...just disgusted

Unable to use previous credits. I switched phones and haven't been able to get my previously paid credits. I can't even try because the subscription ad keeps coming up when I try to save a photo. I'd appreciate some help with this. I loved the app until this issue and the new sub service.

Downloaded with the assumption I could create a usable watermark without having to purchase a subscription...well, I could have, sort of. Need to subscribe first to get 3 days free use. Not griping that there's a fee to export a creation, but I'd have never downloaded in the first place had I known. So I missed that detail or it's not made clear, either way, for my level of need there are better options available. Unusable for what I was looking for.

Rated to get the credits from the app. Will rate again with a real review after use. Update - It's handy to have the sizes for Facebook, YouTube and the like build the n as crops but where are the rest? 1:1, 4:3 and 16:9 (plus the opposites) are not much of a choice there are several more crops that are common. Also being able to adjust the opacity would be nice. Otherwise simple app to use.

Free to install only. I liked the layout and ease of use to create a logo or put my name on a photo but its $40 yearly or $7.99 a month. With first 3 days free. So can't tell if it really works on the actual photo. I always forget to cancel these things and I hate having my credit card at a company I don't know. No ads popping up so that was nice.

i used it Everytime i uploaded a photo. i made my water mark, and I attach it very easily. two things that would make it better, would be to integrate it to Lightroom so i don't have to make an extra step. if it integrated I wouldn't have to export from lightroom and into salt. Two.. I'd buy the app with a one time purchase, but im not buying credits constantly. uninstalling.

Love this app, it does it's job and is easy to use. The only thing that bugss me is if you're text gets put in the bottom left I'm unable to select it because I will end up selecting the option to change the image size ratio...

13/9/19 Edit/Update: company contacted me immediately after my initial review and gave me my missing credits. Still hate that we have to pay a subscription to add a watermark. After my credits are done I will be looking for another app. Shame though, it was my fav app for watermarking. 8/30/19 Purchased 1500 credits in this app last year. Used about 70 credits. Bought a new phone today and after switching the app over with smart switch it doesn't allow me to restore my purchase.

It is perfect for what it does. I designed my watermark and the app stamps every pic in a jiffy. The only issue I have with it at the moment is that it seems to export the watermarked photo with an inferior quality to the original photo!

Works really well for what I need, watermarking photos of my arts and crafts. Really helpful people too, I've emailed twice and both times, very fast reply and sorted issues straight away, no probs at all, really appreciated that. Great little app.

$60 a year for a watermarking app ($96 if you do monthly installments) is insane. The UI is nice and it does what it says, really well - but its not worth the same price as an adobe CC photography license to have photoshop which allows you to do the same thing and so much more.

This app is perfect for what I'm looking for! My only complaint is the whole poits thing that you need to create content. I'd rather just pay once to use the app than paying a subscription...if it weren't for that it would be an easy 5 stars.

So far so good, besides the credit system which is annoying. Not easy to switch to/find the edit menu once you navigate away. Sometimes the "Edit Text" text gets saved and can't be erased.

Not a free app - you have to buy credits to be able to share yr photos... They should say this up front! Worse, it is a subscription model - you pay ("credits") per picture posted/shared... There are better and easier to use free apps out there.

I did not had a fun experince with this app. I does not let you customize the watermark acc to each and every image. Instead u have to use an already designed logo or text water mark or u have to design a new watermark in the form of an image or text. Worst part abt this app is that it does kot let u cahnge the opacity of the watermark, acc to the slected image.

monthly payment to be able to download your watermarked image, a 3 day trial doesn't cut it. for what it is, it isn't worth the monthly price. Your "best" isn't nearly as good enough to gain my support. there are free apps that do your job better, your just being greedy.

Amazing app! Every other watermark app i tried either didnt work, wouldn't find my logo in my pictures, or you couldn't choose placement. This app is very easy to use amd saves right tp your pictures! If I could rate 6 stars i totally would!

I love how easy this app is to use, and the fact that I can save my logo and not have to search my photos for it every time. However, I don't think I'll stay pass the 3 day free trial. It's missing the ability to add a shadow to the watermark. This is an essential for me, and I'm so sad this app doesn't have it

I needed to watermark my art and this app did precisely that. Simple to use, no ads, no hassles, plus the opportunity to get free credits vs paying for credits. If you are an artist or photographer, a crafter or baker, an artisan of any sort you should protect your online images with a watermark. This app is exactly what you need. No need to look any further.

Okay, it's good. It does what it's supposed to. HOWEVER, you cannot pay for the app once. You use "credits" every time you save a picture. This may be fine for most people, but you should be aware of this. If you plan on exporting a bunch of pictures, it will cost you, continuously.

Watermarke, is an amazing and most unique application. It makes easy for business to take photos. You can easily add text to photos and you can choose font out of a variety of free fonts. Install it and enjoy.

There is no option to Put watermarks on a whole map of pictures. Just have to put one at the time and that takes a very long time to do on 50+ pictures. And some pictures wont even watermark be put on it gets in to the App Map but no watermarks. Wont pay for a subscription for this for that very reason

I really liked this app until I got a new phone and lost ALL of the unused credits that I previously purchased and the customer service hasn't been any help at all!! So I guess my only option is to subscribe monthly when I had over 500 unused credits before I upgraded my phone. Horrible horrible business!!

Not as good as a watermarker since it makes you chose sizes that might not fit your required file size. It's not canva. also the functionalities are too limited even for a free vesrion, no undo button & other ux disasters. At least it could have been a decent watermark app.

Wow this is nice app fo add watermark on photos so as photos can give a nice and stylish look. You can create unique photo designs by simply adding text to photos or can also chose different kinds of fonts from the menue. Overall experience of using this app is awesome and unique thats why i am giving five star.

Not sure y they crop my photo ratio to 1:1. Not that user friendly and lack of a lot of features. So time to uninstall. Not sure y is it so high rating.. Not very bad but really still got a lot of rooms for improvement. Give it a miss this time. :)
