I love using this app when I shop at Sam's Club! My membership card is stored in the app, you can even get it scanned at a register if you prefer. As I shop, I scan everything I plan to purchase. It gives me a running total while shopping so not only do you get the price of the items and quantity listed for you to see, but you have your running total as well. This helps with budgeting for me. Then if you have your cc info in the app, you can pay for your purchase right on your phone and then you have an electric receipt you can't loose. No waiting in cashier lines for me. Fast and so easy to use I definitely recommend this all to all!!!

Absolutely love the scan and go feature. I can't wait until it is used by more people so that the people at the door have it in their hand and turned on so that they aren't having to find it, turn it on, get it to the right mode, etc. My only super minor suggestion is the scan sound. go back to the one that the old dedicated app used (the app that is going away now)!! :)

IF this works, it's awesome. However, on my Android, if I accidently touch any part of the screen except the scan button when using the app, all of my cart items disappear. This happens most often when I'm almost finished shopping. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! I really want this to work correctly as it would be a great time saver.

Great app! I'm often surprised how easy it is to capture the barcode, it cuts my shopping time down because there are no checkout lines and the total is added at the bottom of your screen so it's easy to know where you stand if you're on a budget! Then just slide to check out & show your barcode at the door on your way to the car! Wish every store made it this easy! LOL

I love this app!!! Skipping the lines and not having to take everything out of your cart just to turn around and put it right back in. I've never had any problems with the payment options and exiting the club is super quick because your just show them the scan code from your purchase. You also immediately get your receipt and it's stored on the app, so no more receipts to keep up with.

I love and hate this app. I love not having to wait in the checkout line but EVERY time I use this app it will totally break the user interface on my phone. The bottom 25% of my display is repositioned at the top of the screen and this app, as well as everything else is completely unresponsive. The only option is to reboot the phone and rescan my items. This is the only app that causes this to happen and it happens consistently every time I use it.

From 5 stars to 1. No update-just reinstall and doesn't remember your password. Any action that causes an error, gives generic error msg: can't be purchased through app, credit card expired, system down. Scanning with this install is horrible. must have barcode straight whereas before it didn't matter at all. All in all a very stressful trip. Wish I had just used the checkout.

Absolutely saves time and effort. Scan your items as you put them in your cart, pay via app on the way out, show the resulting bar code to the door person and you're gone. If it's got a barcode, it works. No need to pull your items back out of your cart only to have to repack the cart. This app eliminates that tedious step. Can't wait to use it during the Christmas shopping season.

This is a great app that saves time to skip the long lines at your local Sam's Club. However it is very buggy and prevents me from using it at all. I shop for my small business and anything I scan from the bakery such as : sandwich croissants, assorted muffins and pastries gets glitched/bugged if I press the "tax exempt" button. So if I want to purchase two boxes of croissants and I press "tax exempt" it creates multiple copies of the same item and if i want to delete those items, it creates even more problems and the app crashes. It has been like this for months and I have sent feedback on the app but nothing has been done. No idea why it does this

Constantly harrasses you to install Sam's club app. Decline button is in microprint at the bottom of the screen. That doesn't really matter though as no matter what you do the screen pops up and demands you install the app every time you go to the app. Switching back and forth between this app and my list meant selecting the install option (which doesn't install the app) 30+ times in one trip. TAKE THE DAMN THING OFF THE APP!!!!!

Excellent experience. No more standing in long lines at all, of course until everyone gets hip to the new technology. Lol... my only concern is that sometimes the price check scanner does not work on some items and because of that, you have to utilize the 'Scan & Go' Scanner to find out the price. Other than that, I love it. - Be glad once Walmart implements the technology, outside of just the Walmart Pay at the Checkout line. - You get a receipt & everything right on your phone. No more Wallets

It continually prompts to connect with Sam’s wifi network; I click (not now) and it doesn’t allow me to use my 4g --which I have successfully done for months. So I end up going through the checkout because I refuse to use their I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEIR wifi network. I provided feedback twice expressing my dissatisfaction with no response. Notable, after submitting feedback the app would work fine for approximately two visits and then go back to the prompt once again. The only thing I have considered is Sam’s may be trying to get access to our contacts via permission acceptance. SAM’S WHY ARE YOU MESSING UP A GREAT APP!!

First of all, I was annoyed to no end that my old phone wouldn't accept the app update, and had to purchase another phone. The new, improved app on my new, improved phone (LG V20) takes WAY too long to focus and scan the bar codes. Now instead of burning time waiting in the checkout line, I have to waste time scanning each item I wish to purchase. Most aggravating.

I started using this app about 3 months ago and have to say it's been great. I walk thru the store and scan items as I put them in my basket (easy to remove items also), then just slide to pay, show the barcode at the door and I'm out of there. No standing in line, registers or contact with employees or other customers. Only problem I've had with it is getting it to use my reward points when checking out, sometimes it takes them and sometimes it doesn't. Use this app!!!!!

The barcode scanner improvement is amazing. Much faster and haven't had any that won't scan, unlike the previous version. I can check the price on some items that don't have price tags. This app makes shopping at Sam's actually enjoyable. I'm surprised I'm usually the only one using the app when I exit the store.

Good, but could be better. My main two issues are that the cart can be too easily emptied (just grabbing the phone wrong) and the payment methods need to have the option to be "nicknamed." A few times now I have accidentally emptied my cart bc I grabbed the phone wrong and hit the wrong button with a finger, or end a call and phone freezes up for a second and when it starts working right, the cart is suddenly empty. There needs to be "confirmation" or something added before cart can be emptied.

Scanned a little over 43 items yesterday using this app. Attempted to checkout and kept receiving a network error (Oops something went wrong). Management informed that it wasn't an issue with the scanned items within my shopping cart because I was under the $500 limit. Therefore, I was instructed by management to restart app and assured that all items would still be saved in cart. I restarted app and all items were erased from cart. Management opened up a register and checked me out due to the inconvience of this app. Apparently, this has been an issue for awhile that needs fixing! Note: local Sam's offers wifi so this wasn't a phone service issue in case you were wondering. I also notice that this app doesn't give you the option to view lowest ratings first. Beware some of these high rating reviews are false! You should be able to view the edit history of each reviewer.

As soon as I get to my club, I can start scanning with ease. Every item has scanned on my first try when I used the app, even if the UPC code was upside down. I didn't expect this app to be so easy to use. It really is simple to do a quick and efficient trip through my club with scan and go.

I was a little concerned about this app after installing it. I read other users having problems with it and worried I might have the same issue. I have had no issues, works like a charm. I make sure I'm connected with Sam's WIFI and then scan and go. I wish more stores had tools like this.

Great app. I could just scan all my items and pay using my card, without waiting in line. But, the app has some serious problem. It worked fine with my initial membership. But after my membership expired and got a new membership (not as renewal, but as a secondary card from my other family member), it won't let me sign in anymore and says to make a new account. When I tried to create new account, it won't let me, saying I am already registered. I don't know whether expired old card is the cause of the problem, but now, my only choice is just keep using this without signing in. It is a big hassle. Maybe, this app is not very well tested for some special circumstances.

Was really looking forward to this app saving my time in the grocery store. But Everytime on 3 separate occasions I click slide to pay and it acts as if it is going to work then says error and to see a cash register. I go look at my bank and the money came and out and got immediately reversed back in my account.. don't understand why the transactions aren't going through. Hope they fix Soon because I really want to use this app!

App is stuck offering "choice" to use Sam's club free UNSECURED Wi-Fi before you can select to scan items, when I opted for "no thanks" for the Wi-Fi it returned me to scan and go page, which as soon as I tapped on the scan and go it would offer me Wi-Fi again and so the dysfunctional cycle continued until I gave up and waited in line to check out. Please fix this bug. And yes I did check and my app is updated.

This use to work. Now I can't even get into it. It won't accept my password or even let me change it. It just says an error happened. And my son got a different error than I did. He went shopping at Sam's Club but wasn't able to finalize his items to skip the line. He gave up after trying to reinstall and had to just go through checkout. The regular app still works.
