Samba Server
No root is needed!
Works on:
- Mac OS X: will show up on the finder automatically if on the same network
- Windows: only works if you have a rooted device since windows does not support non-standard SMB ports. Also, if you use Windows 7 you might need to find out how to enable it since the server only accepts guest logins and Windows 7 automatically uses the currently logged in user.
- Linux: only works if your device is rooted or you can specify the samba server port

**In this version you can add one server (Samba Server or Dynamic DNS Updater) and three directories per server. If you want to be able to add unlimited items please buy Samba Server Pro. If you buy the pro version you will support development, will be able to add unlimited items and see no advertisements!**

- On the settings page of the app you can set the maximum log items to keep, whether to keep a WIFI lock (prevent WIFI from disconnecting automatically), keep the device alive, keep the device alive full (keep the screen on, battery intensive), set to start the app on boot
- You can search/filter the log, or set it to be automatically sent when the log limit is reached.

Doesn't work. When trying to add a server it goes to black screen and then crashes. Moto G5S+ Android 8.1
When trying to use the app it becomes unresponsive, blank screen, and eventually crashes.
Its working just fine, my only problem is that using the phone as a hotspot and server at the same time wont work. is there a way to do or fix this?
2019-03 Ph1 Nougat. Launches but wont do anything. Attempting to add an SMB server does nothing, any other controls hang the app.
Crashes. Soon as you try add server it hangs (galaxy S20). Tried reinstalling a few times. Shame because really could use this app
Doesn't work on Samsung J5 Prime. It opens, then crashes when you want to add a server
Did not work, smbclient returns "protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT". LAN Drive SMB Server does work.
Says it works on none rooted devices. Immediately warns me that my device isn't rooted.

Requires root!!! as it locks up to a black screen when I deny it root. WHY is it even ASKING for root when it says in the description "NO ROOT IS REQUIRED"!?

This app is realy usefull and easy to use.
doesnt work on pixel 3 connecting from macbook client
add server LITERALLY, FREEZE MY PHONE FOR MINUTES, then crashes X( ... sorry, same thing after reinstall, also this app will NOT work anyway, on Android 8 without root, be cause ports limitation, I tried another app which treat this (and you don't :P ), and changed default samba ports ... but, far too much work to connect from windows on samba with custom port (and I'm not in the mood to play money to buy a paid app for a simple transfer), therefore I solved my problem by using an FTP server witch worked flawlessly with custom port ;) ... LE, LAL, after looking around, seems like other ppl complain about same thing ! therefore you have a problem in your app, not me in my phone :P ... also rating of your app is really low, I bet it is be cuz of this, too bad :(
