Samsara Fleet

Most importantly, user friendly! company is a part of their Beta program and I cannot say enough about how awesome they are. When we inquire about possibilities for a new capability or function, Samsara does the absolute most in efforts to satisfy our request. We plan to eliminate several other systems within our corporation because Samsara is about to replace them all. What it doesnt already outshine, it will after the trial phases. This program is amazing and the people are even better :).

I'm not really sure the purpose of the app other than to see what happening "right now". You can't review anything it was sent to the safety inbox. (And apparently one of our vehicles being wrecked last night isn't in the safety inbox? I will need to check on the computer to see if that's a product failure or an app failure.)

Absolute WORST app! Pointless, unless you're looking to see where something is...thats is. Cant see where its been, there is ZERO "fleet management" abilities in this app. Only in used due to federal mandate, which is also BS for the road striping industry! Was forced to give 1 star, but even that's too many!

Great fleet Management tool. Only suggestion is make the routes visible on the app for fleet managers to view the driver's route progression. Overall, I have done consultant work with various trucking companies and used hundreds of different types of tms and asset location software programs. Samsara has been my favorite so far!! Keep it up team!!

Have used it for a day and love it so far. Needs sat view and stops and it will be complete. Update: app will not load. It gets stuck on solid white splase screen while loading. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

Great interface. Would like to be able to see trip history. It is a necessary tool to see where your fleet has been. Still have to use the browser to view this.

Doesn't give the vehicle number unless vehicle is clicked on. In the webb version, I can see this just by hovering over the vehicle or by being in a certain scale on the map. Extra steps to use the same functionalities so I just use the webb version on my andriod.

App works decently. Certain vehicles still appear even after setting filter to exclude them. App updates automatically upon start without giving the option to do so only over WiFi

Terrible for fleets. They will trap you in a yearly contract because they are insecure about their product which they should be considering how many bugs are in it (portal, driver app, and fleet app) and how unfinished it is. Don't buy into their discounted price because it's discounted for a reason.

Would like to see more accurate drive path, like cutting corners and driving through fields or buildings but excellent other than that.

Editing to acknowledge developer response: I understand you're trying to get things going. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're working on. Since I'm not in charge of my company's contract with samsara, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to email samsara on their behalf just yet. It'll be nice to offload some of the strain of GPS tracking from my workstation at the office though onto my android tablets. However, if I may suggest: Please make sure landscape display mode is available!!

Like many people said. We need to see trip history with times when driver arrived and left location. Even better put dots on the route with time.

i give this 1 becuase it is just a phone book has driver contact but get messages and complete hours on the fleet like this 8 hour 14 hr 70 hr then below put recap 1st recap second. and recap third day and have an audio alert for messaging this messaging should be tied to the main app online as well

Very slow app. Takes along time between movements to update status. Constantly resets.

Very overpriced. Could be more user friendly. Warning Alarm goes off for no reason.

Does not work . G45 and g46 devices die every 3 months . App keeps saying authentication failed . The service and app useless.

It will never open. I have to reinstall several times every day to be able to use it

I just installed app today it was extremely easy and helpful with setting up first company truck is in the parking lot of installation shop...

I need a list of all 90 drivers just like we have in web version of the app.

I've had alot of fleet tracking devices, with camera, samurai is one of the best!!!

App is great. I need more alert options like fuel usage would be great.

Little slow sometimes and lacks access to HOS, have to access via internet browser
