The relationship between Service Provider (AT&T), hardware manufacturer (Samsung) and software architecture (Android/Google) is, well, "weird" and unlike anything I have experienced in more than a dozen years of tech. experience. Updates are automatic but, patches are not explained. I don't have software "pushed" to my car or refrigerator, so why this model on our phones? Still learning to accept this much connectivity in life and hopeful it all works out safely. Thanks Samsung!

My tablet suddenly started telling me it was out of storage space even though I don't have many apps on it. It kept happening even though I cleared my cache, deleted duplicate files, and removed unused files. Well, well, well, this app was the cause. I don't know where it came from or why it was on my table but it was responsible for taking up nearly half of my usable storage!!! Samsung was always bad about bloatware but this is next-level, even for them.

My Galaxy Tab S3 all of a sudden started running out of storage space. I kept deleting apps but as soon as any storage came available it would disappear overnight. I eventually discovered that the Samsung Members app was eating up all my storage space - almost 10 gig!! I was able to uninstall the app (which I never used, think it installed on the last update) without hurting anything else. And magically I have storage space again. It might be a great app but it sure messed up my tablet.

Hate to say It's a useless app because I like Samsung, but this is a useless app. All it does is take up internal storage space. Can't move it to my external drive. Can't uninstall it from Settings. I've tried uninstalling it from Play Store, but it reappears a few days later when it's updated. When I try to disable it in Settings, I get a warning that says it may cause errors in other apps. Downloaded the equally useless new blue app, but it doesn't replace this useless one.

App doesn't really work on my S9. Keeps popping an error message on the startup screen/dashboard: "An error occurred. Something unexpected happened. Please try again later." The "Troubleshooting" and "Recommend" cards have spinning icons and no content. I've tried deleting and re-installing the app, but still gives me the error. However, diagnostics works fine.

I deleted this app completely after I discovered it was taking up literally 22 GB. (not a typo, really 22!) So I just deleted the entire app. Crazy. I think it happened after the last update. I wasted an entire day deleting and moving stuff to try to regain my storage. I was getting constant warnings. Finally figured out this app was the cause. It is now gone. Good riddance.

tried it again after several years. still don't see the point to it. the information given really isn't that great nor important. you can find better resources searching online. and last thing you do is troubleshoot a device while using same device. Also, the diagnostic told are questionable. Speed test showed no more than 1/3 my speed and battery in fair condition. this phone is less than a year old, battery is great. every other speed test showed my full speed. This app just has 0 purpose.

This version is garbage on my device. I get "Something unexpected happened. Please try again later" every time I open the app. It doesn't show any of my registered devices. Just spinning circles. I've cleared the system cache, factory reset the phone, and tried installing in safe mode. Still doesn't work.

Horrible. This app sucked so much storage that I had to delete photos and other apps just to get functionality returned to my phone, only to have the app bloat a few hours later before I realized that this app was the problem. By the time I realized what the issue was, I had already ordered a new phone: a non-Samsung. My first non-Samsung in years.

Horrible..all of a sudden my phone like everyone else kept saying I had no more storage left. Went through 2 days of moving and deleting things I thought I didnt need. Turns out this app was the SOLE REASON for the problem. It was taking up over 23GB of storage! Funny how it doesnt say it takes that much if you look at the current download specs. That's ridiculous. Once I figured it out I uninstalled it. All the storage warnings went away. Maybe I'll reinstall if it doesnt do the same thing.

I enjoy my Samsung. Sons have iphone 8+. The ONLY thing i like better about their phone is the larger screen size. My intent is to get a new Samsung 10 upgrade as soon as i find the right promotion (sale). The only reason i didn't give 5 stars, is because i saved chosen files/apps to my "private folder," & wasn't prompted after saving, so i ended up saving unwanted apps to my private folder. Now, i can't figure out how to remove files/apps from my private folder.

DEVELOPER SUGGESTIONS/ FEEDBACK- Would be great if updates had an option to ROLL BACK to previous version. Some updates are more irritating than anything, esp when so much is changed that you don't even recognize your phone (or the app/ functionality in question)... COMPLAINT- Not even sure if this app is part of what now happens when all apps are minimized, but the CLOSE ALL button is in a BAD SPOT & too easy to mistakenly hit it when that's the LAST thing you want to do! Move to TOP of screen

This app is HORRIBLE!! I have not idea how it got on my phone or why. I fought for a week trying to clean up memory space on my phone that has 64gb... that's right 64gb!!! More than enough memory for my music, pictures, videos, apps, and more. But this app took up over 23gb!!! I couldn't take pictures of important events today because of this!!! So thank you Samsung Members for allowing me to miss capturing sweet moments with my kiddos!!!! NOT HAPPY AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!

This app filled up the internal storage on my phone. I was having problems with my phone running out of space. After uninstalling apps and deleting files found out this morning it was THIS APP! Was using 36 GB of data. Deleted it all and just now it was back up over 1 GB of data again. This app is supposed to be helping not CAUSING PROBLEMS. I couldn't even post to the community about this problem because I guess their server is having issues. I just uninstalled it since I can't trust it.

Does not work on Samsung Galaxy S9+. It crashes before you get to the login screen. I was trying to open it to find out what is going on with the MASSIVE bluetooth issue for the phone "app". It keeps pulling calls back to the phone from bluetooth devices without any user actions to cause it. It also is hit and miss on having the speaker phone usable (muffled sound coming out, muffled sound sent to the other end, or both without moving the phone between calls).

would not update, unistalled, tried to reinstall, it stated that I didn't have a WIFI connection, would I like to go ahead, data charges may apply, did that even though I have a strong wifi connection. Still would not install. Only reason why I messed with it was because the phone kept on sending me messages about a failed update. Was not even using it or needing it in the first place.

Jon. M. Feb 17, 2020

Never used it once, but it came pre-installed on my phone. It mainly spammed me with "you might want to restart your phone, it's been 7 days" messages, but I never signed up for a membership. After the most recent android software update, this worthless app suddenly ballooned to fill my whole storage space. It was taking 12GB (TWELVE!!!) by the time I realized this was the app continuously filling my phone storage with bloat. I couldn't even take a single photo. Uninstall this bug-laden garbage.

Mat. C. Feb 27, 2019

Rename the app "Paul Walker," so at least people wont be surprised when it crashes. edit: Thanks developer response for doing the cursory Google search for fixing the problem. I too tried to do what was instructed, but still- nothing. If the problem persists, please call a randomized number and navigate several transfers to the point of frustration and futility.

I have to give a zero rating. Because my phone has been giving me nothing but trouble when I try to do anything with it. Facebook keeps spinning, going nowhere and stopping. I cant even send text messages, and when someone calls my phone, and the answering service goes on, they will get constant and repeated feedback over and over in Spanish language. And I definitely dont speak Spanish!!

Storage Eater. So I was having a file system notification that would not go away no matter what I did. It read to many files created backup and reset factory. After trying everything else and googling how to fix the last resort was to uninstall apps by file size. I saw that this app took 23 GB of data. So I uninstalled it since I do not use it. During the uninstall the notification went away.

I bought a samsung phone earlier this year and it is a lot better than iPhones, in my opinion. I had an iPhone for the past few years and it was annoying. The battery would go to quick and if dropped once, the screen would shatter. I've had this Samsung phone since February and although I have dropped it several times, the screen is still intact. Samsung also offers better performance apps.

The app is fine. It would have been much better if i had understood up front that i wasnt talking to a live person and was being routed through the equivelent of an IVR. I kept trying to type responses instead of selecting a choice because i wasnt sure of the category. I would have just guessed and moved on. Probably because of this, respoonse time was slow enough that many times i wasnt sure I wasstill connected. Next time Im sure it will be great! Question was answered..there was no problem and Im happy. Thank you for allowing feedback. The app did say it was new to be fair.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. For some bizarre reason, this app has the extreme tendency to eat up all remaining space on your phone. Was out of storage on my 64gb S8+, and when I looked at the apps list, it was taking up 44 *Gigabytes.* I suspect that Samsung might be attempting to pull an Apple, and make their users want to upgrade. Samsung Customer Support seems to be wholly ignorant of this issue. (Do note that I have only ever used this app once, shortly after installation)
