Not sure what all the one star ads are about with complaints about crashing, not loading, not earning enough etc. You see or view ads, the revenue is relatively low but what do you expect? I've also found some days the ads generate more than others (much more occasionally) so play around and try it out. I like that with the ad revenue earned I can choose to donate it to the various Global Goals causes, and enjoy reading the articles that also earn ad revenue.
Doesn't work properly. It crashes after using ads and you can't exit. You get a penny per ad and it's too hard to earn enough to make an meaningful donation. Good idea but let down by poor execution. Doesn't even seem many companies are onboard with it so not even a lot of ads. Will look for something else as this simply does not do what it is intended to do. Sorry.
I enjoy the fact, that it keeps searching for new ways to help those in need. With that I dont only mean humans but animals and generally nature too. KEEP GOING! Some people say, that by watching an ad only earning few cents doesnt help, but think about it! If many people do it and you are one in million: just do the math!Its totally worth it
It's a good way to contribute to a better world esp those who don't have alot of money. I like I get to choose where I want it to go. Read a few articles watch a few videos isn't difficult thing to do. We do it everyday but on this you make a few cents thay add up to donate to good causes. I like the out of box thinking of ways to create change. Good job!!
I didn't install this app, I have no idea when it got pushed to my device. I don't do advertisements. I'm heckkin certainly not going to install an app that increases the number of ad's on my device. Apps that get pushed to devices need to have a simple interface RIGHT UP FRONT that asks for permission to live on my device. A NO response and it gets deleted, never to return unless intentionally re-downloaded.
Its supposed to show ads when you're like, mid-opening the phone on the lock screen. So you basically have no lock screen but thats literally it. It does that, but the ad doesn't even give you points for anything. I've gotten a total of 20 cents in a week to donate, and 14 of it was the first day. The rest I had to manually open the app, and it just gave me 2 cents. So basically an Ad-based Charity thing that doesn't even work. I mean, you can donate your own money yea. Fix or no-go.
An app with a great purpose. Admittedly it's a little buggy, and I don't use all the features. Yet I've been able to earn and donate money to charity by using to my time to watch ads. Because Samsung matches donations, I've managed to raise over $1000 and donated to nine goals without spending any of my own money. This app is fantastic for those without spare cash, but who are willing to spend their spare time. Love the initiative Samsung 🤍
I absolutely love this app. Hands down the #1 app in my book. What a great thing to be able to be apart of . Gives people like me who normally can't donate due to bills, ECT.. a chance to do something as well. What's better then opening up, playing a video, playing a game and being able to donate from there. Way cool. Keep up the great work everyone. Thanks Samsung!!!! Way to take part & action.
I like having the opportunity to do more for the global goals. The app has been a great discovery. Having said that, I think there's some UX improvements to be made. And I would like to have a triggearable add to be seen, just like in some games that let you earn lives or gems that way
Such an easy, fun way to learn about the Global Goals! I had fallen into despair over the fate of our planet but this app has me excited to be part of the grassroots folks joining together to make a better world than has ever been before. I appreciate the opportunity to make tiny donations earned while learning (and matched by Samsung), and very small donations I would not send by mail without a SASE. Even the game downloads offered on this app have least intrusive ads!
Great app but the ads that appear for earning money should've been different every time. If I watch an ad for the first time then all the next apps will be the same one. Please fix it.
Love this app so much, I'm not on my phone much but I still build up quite a bit of donation funds! Plus samsung takes what you made and donates what you did plus some! All the goals are such amazing things to donate to and love that you can choose other goals instead of just sticking to one goal the entire time! Definitely one of the best things I've seen samsung do, and the app works flawlessly for me making it so fun and easy to donate!
I love this app, getting money for a cause of your choice by just charging your phone, then Samsung doubles the donation, you can also use a credit/debit card and watch small adds for 8 cents (just don't actually watch them).
I was trying to delete this application from my google play store coz it keeps a "pending" status to update. The app is currently under my uninstalled apps but still with the status pending, which doesnt allow to update other apps. When i tried to delete it, the google store stops operation and closes the app. Please delete it from my pending list!
Only giving one star because I want to be noticed. I love the apps idea. It's very easy to make money. But for the life of me, I cannot verify that every penny goes to charity, or at least the vast majority. I want reassurance that I'm doing good for the world, and not just for Samsung. If verification is received, I will happily give 5 stars and continue to make money for charity ❤️
Samsung is doing a great job, it's so easy now to do a helpful thing for others, even if you don't have money to donate, you can earn money by watching ads to donate, we can't get not so much money to donate by watching ads but even a single rupee is helpful for anybody, loved this concept, Great app.
I like this app. It makes me think & feel & care about the world and the people who live in it; those in need & even those who are not. Sometimes I have trouble finding the exact goal I want to donate to and so I will just donate to any one of them. To me they are all very worthwhile goals. Today I want to donate to end all poverty everywhere, if I can find it. It's goal number ONE.
Download it if you want to watch ads to help the world. Yes this app has ads, but the revenue is donated to many categories of fundraisers depending on your choice, way to go samsung.
I could not be happier with the amounts I've been able to donate, just through watching a few 30 second vids and scrolling ads. Literally $16 in 3 days. I could never spare that much out of my wages. I can support such good causes too. Just fantastic
Great concept! Good causes for sure add some videos of the funds raised actual being used to help the specific cause. Play ads during videos and make more donations. I think there could be other ways to monetize and generate more donations.
Great way to earn money to donate, it's absolutely 💯% free of charge, for a good cause for our fellow humans here on earth and it doesn't require nothing but just a 'Lil bit of ur time every now and again! It's respectfully very FREE!!!! Try it for real, I absolutely love it and it doesn't bother me or take any extra time out of my day to make a difference in our world when we are in such dier need!!!!
I like the idea that people are bringing awarness to people using modern technology. Mobile phones are nearly used by everyone and it wouldn't hurt to download this small app. Its for a good cause.♥️
It seems to be a great app, but I don't earn anything while charging and neither with the wallpapers. The only way to earn is to watch ad videos.
Improve more. Topics are very interesting and it should be more understandable for the nomads as well. Hope you better your app much more and help more globally. Thank you Samsung. 😊
I don't much about this App, and I haven't yet donated myself, so I neither know about where the actual donations go after being donated. Are the donations being properly used, who benefits from the donations? But the idea of the App is great, getting money off of adds and sending it to people who need it, that's a great idea. I just don't know how it works in the real world.
Well, an actual app that ties in global charity goals with user exposure to ads. Im game. Im already exposed to ads but this allows me to monetize my viewing habits and donate to something meaningful
I wanted to update my review. The error I previously commented on was fixed. I was able to click on and give the donations. I have earned over $55 in donation money in under a month. It is a great concept.
Absolutely LOVE that I am able to donate to charity while having ads on my lock screen or having them play while I doing other things..plus the longer videos are pretty informative too! Get this if you want to donate to charity in such an easy way!!
All around great app to learn about global events and crisis. to be able be apart of it with no coast to join but given donating money just to watch ads.. if u think this is a way to just get easy money its not for that purpose.But only for TO GIVE BACK TO THOSE IN REAL NEED OF HELP.. 🤝🏼🤙🏼
Ads don't show up and when I try to watch the few that have a watch button, I get a little pop up that says ads are unavailable. I've uninstalled hoping that would fix the issue and it didn't, I also have it set to earn while charging, but that stopped a while ago. I love the idea of this app and would love to be able to earn more money to donate to these causes, please fix these issues!
