This app stinks . I purposely bought the camera and a Samsung phone so they would work together . I could not have been more wrong . When I can get the devices to connect the connection speed is slow typically taking over a minute to transfer a photo of 6mb . The devices constantly disconnect from each other while transferring files. I've reinstalled the app several times on my phone to no avail . I'm on holiday at the moment and as soon as I get home I'm binning the pair of them . Avoid
Have not use my samsung camera for a while. Tried connecting n downloading onto latest Android phones. It just did not work. Terrible, cannot connect and when do, only downloaded partially and shut off. Frustrating. Recalled that it worked previously. Tried with old samsung S7 edge. It works seamlessly, as it should. Samsung need to tweak this so that it work with current Android phones.
I opened up the app and tried to connect the camera and the phone. It eventually took too long and the camera gave up. Wouldnt connect no matter how many times I tried it did not work. Also YES my camera was compatible with the app. There was also a button to press so I hit it and it broke the app. Terrible. Dont even try. Im disappointed Samsung. ):
Very disappointed. Have had pictures on my camera forever and finally got around to moving them and after having to connect manually every time the app closes right before the transfer is complete. What a waste. With the money this company makes with it's phone's you'd think they'd figure this out.
So you take away the Mobile login app which was clunky but worked fine and was good for holidays (for saving pics onto a bigger screen) and replace it with something which doesn't support my camera (which I can still buy lenses for so is still 'current'. Very disappointed.
Worked last year, but now is broken. Auto connect doesn't work, can connect via manual wifi selection. Once connected you can't see/transfer pictures and if you take a picture it starts the transfer and crashes the app. Useless. Samsung S9 and NX2000
Just awful. Takes forever to connect camera and phone, and when it eventually does and a file is sent, the app shuts down and the file is lost. This is the only means I have to send my pictures from camera to phone easily and now I have no way to do it Please fix it, this is a dreadful app.
This application requested permission acces to my S9+ camera and stored photos, both of which I permitted but when it asked permission to handle and make phone calls, of course I denied such permission. A graphics programme does not need access to these phone's functions. The application would not then open and required access to the phone function. This application is a dangerous fraud and I urge you to NOT download it or, to do so at your own risk.
Very hit or miss to connect with the camera in the first place, the app doesn't even include something as simple as a basic intervalometer. The would completely remove one of the main failings of an otherwise excellent camera ... no remote shutter port.
I got my new S20 mainly because I wanted this app to work again. Still crashes every time I use it, and it acts fine at first but then it goes back to home screen. As android users we should be able to use the app, it saves a great deal of trouble.
The remote viewfinder works fine, which I'm very excited about, but every time I try to download anything from my NX2000, this app crashes just as the download finishes. So all in all I'm fairly dissatisfied with the quality of this app. The camera however is pretty cool
This app just gets more and more difficult, and is practically unusable. It crashes constantly and makes my camera extremely difficult to retrieve pictures from. Then, what is the point?
I would have given this a 5 start when I had my Samsung Galaxy S7 but I've recently switched to a Google pixel 4xl and now the app closes while transferring photos from my Samsung NX mini or it won't even connect at all. Really disappointed in the app. I don't believe this is the phones or Samsung's fault but the apps fault. Please fix this connection bug!
I can't even connect with my camera and I paid lots of money for it plus the lenses. I know Samsung discontinued their cameras but it's not fair that I can't even use the software to transfer my pics. They should reimburse everyone who bought these cameras and lenses. It wasn't cheap so the least you can do is have the app that works and support!
when it works it works well. For people complaining that it doesn't work with versions of android past 8.0, samsung have said this is the case. I'm disappointed that samsung have stopped supporting their cameras but they did announce this several years ago, and have no longer been producing cameras or lenses for that time, so we can't really complain.
This app is totally malfunctioning and does not work. I am having trouble connecting my camera to the WiFi and when it finally does it only can send 1 pic and closes the app itself. So frustrating..
Disappointed. Used this for years not i had to transfer one by one. Not all at once on my phone. I had android 9 for awhile and its okay. Now i have updated to android 10 and it stops after 1 file transfer. Had to transfer one by one. Please update this app.
We still own these cameras, and use them. They are made so well, that they don't fall apart after a year, nor has the quality become obsolete. The least Samsung can do is allocate resources to update the OS compatibility once a year. 😶😐😑
This app is useless. Cannot retrieve any photos Cannot use the viewfinder What is the point? Dear Samsung Tech Support, please issue an update or at least release the software code in order for more capable people to be able to help us. You have rendered the Samsung NX camera useless without offering any back-up/support for thousands of users. Shame
Useful if you want to stare at loading screens. I was able to connect a WB35F camera and my Android phone... Briefly ... And uselessly, because I couldn't use any of the features such as Remote Viewfinder. Remote Viewfinder used to work...
Seems like it does not work well with my Galaxy S10+ It will receive one picture then force shutdown and the app will fail on sending pictures. I restart the application and it still will not work.
Typical abandoned app. Constantly crashes. Cant find the camera anymore. Kneecapped features that just go on a whim. Welcome to the new world of live software. Constantly changing out.
difficult to connect, had to turn my data off, then worked fine. Would be great if it was possible to transfer RAW files, now andriod supports RAW and lightroom mobile and snapsneed can both edit raw photos
Just as others have reported, worked fine on my S7 and OK on my S8, I now have an S10e and it will only transfer one file at a time then closes the app. Also only able to sync with camera manually now. Such a shame
Abandoned app. My name is Samsung WB200F smart camera this was me ! Early days enjoyed very much of this app. And very impressed about the new technology I can share photos to phone. And this app can remote control me. NOW all changed time pass even never connect. Smart camera was miracle many years ago. I was died.
Camera takes ages to connect (up to 15 minutes) and when it finally does. As soon as I begin importing photos, the app just closes itself. A waste of time really.
App used to work fantastic. But after my phone updated to Android 10. The app no longer works properly. It will launch and connect to my Samsung WB1100F camera. But when trying to transfer photos, the app crashes. I have to go back to cable transfer of my photos. I really liked the wifi transfer though, as I used it to automatically transfer photos I just took to my phone.
