Samsung Smart TV :Keyboard

This app works for Samsung TVs but not for apps on the tv. i.e. I wanted to be able to use the keyboard function for youtube search, but it doesn't accept the input. Got a refund. Update: the functionality of this app may not necessarily be related to the app but the TV apps. It appears that even wireless keyboards will not work with the tv apps other than the internet. So if you are not interested in the keyboard in this app but just the remote abilities than this app works fine. I have changed the number of stars from 2 to 4 as this limitation of the keyboard does not seem to be an app issue but the tv apps.

Just wasted money buying this app. Nothing works on it. It connects via my WiFi network to the TV but none of the app remote features work. The mouse feature also does not work. As soon as you touch the mouse pad on the app, the app must closes on my phone. Weird thing is it worked in its free version a few months ago. Decided to buy full version now and nothing... Useless

Works great for me. I love the mouse and keyboard feature as well as all of the other features it has. I would love for the power on feature to work via LAN. I have another app that will turn the TV on. If you end up perfecting that, I don't know what else could be improved!

Got the pro version to get a keyboard, only to discover that the keyboard is not accessible to many apps. The remote runs in the background, but not for long. Once it stops running the TV, you have to shut it down and restart it. It needs work, but is fun

Update: The issues seem to be fixed in the recent version 1.40 of the app. This app now works much better than Smart Things which is the Samsung app. Thank you for the fix. Paid for the PRO version. The app used to connect to the tv sometimes. Now it wont work at all. And it cant turn the tv on or connect if the tv is off. Very disappointing.

While the app kind of works, I've had NOT AVAILABLE blinking every second on my TV ever since. Samsung blames this app and says my only option is to reset the TV and that will delete all my channels, descriptions, channel order, apps, logins etc. Wish I never downloaded this and just waited till I received my replacement remote.

NO WORTH TO INSTALLED AND BUY. Spend the money to buy the mouse and keypad control , however it is unable to function all the time. It always shown searching icon and search for nothing at all. Should spend the money to buy a real remote control instead wasting money for this apps. Can make refund? Really disappointed and frustrated with this apps eventhough just spend penny money.

I absolutely love this app! My Samsung TV Remote stopped working so I found this app after trying about 5 or 6 other apps that I couldn't get to work once they were downloaded on my phone. Finally this one worked! I ended up paying the one-time fee of $3.95... instead of having to watch an ad each time I needed to use the remote. It was totally worth it! So, yes, lol, I love this app. It works great with my Android phone and my 55in. Samsung TV

Not so confortable with the keyboard and keypad function, maybe you can include the scroll function on it. Of cause its work only on TV browser due to the TV os i think. Overall, i found that this app is good. Good joB guys ;)

Have had this app for a while and usually works fine but crashes every single time I try to connect it to my tv now. Every time!! I've paid for the full version too and can't even use it at all atm.... Hope it gets fixed ASAP

I paid the money to get full access and after a week ot wont connect to my TV anymore. my TV tells me to type in a pin but theres no option to do so in the app. it just says "failed to pairing" over and over. Awful. waste of money.

I paid 3.99$ . For full version. This very good application for Samsung smart TV . But I have a problem , the connection between TV and mobile cut off suddenly each time , and need to restart the application . For app's developer PLEASE HELP .

Hi, this app really works but only if our device locale is left-to-right like English. On right-to-left locales such as Persian or Arabic, buttons are misplaced and touchpad not working.

Downloaded last night, paid for full version. Was working perfectly until opening again this morning and it is stuck on the searching for TV screen! Unhappy. Please refund or fix

Keeps crashing, app worked fine on my iOS phone, now I've moved to Android, cannot get it to work again, when it did work it kept coming up with the authorise button, which defeated the purpose.

Wouldn't even open. Kept crashing just connecting to the TV. Detected the TV well but crashed every time trying to use it.

I wish it had a keyboard that allows me to type my titles or some sort of .voice command, it's still a decent app and can ease navigation to some extent

It's good if you buy it. But it never remember my internet.. After every 2 minutes I have to exit the app n go back in.. it's the only time it works. Wish it can just work all the time whenever I click on the app.

Un40mu6290 dosnt work with the keyboard. I pay for the this app and it pops open the fist time i try to use it and then dosnt work. Now i cant even get the qwerty keyboard to open in the app. So disapointed. Im going to go back to not paying for android apps, waste of money.

Downloaded this apps specifically for the keyboard feature which DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!, all features seemed to work fine except for the one i payed for.A total ripoff and a waste of money

Please fix the absolutely continuous crashes, even when not running the app in the foreground. Paid for premium for the keyboard option, now disappointed.

this app is amazing and i will buy its pro features but it has one problem,if you try to add a new device it just keeps searching for new devices and never finds any and i cant even go back to the main menu even though i already connected my Smart TV for it

Just doesn't work. This is a con, do not buy. App loads, as soon as you touch the touch pad it crashes. Absolutely rubbish.

app developer does not respond or fix broken app.... uninstalled 1.40 and found 1.39 APK and finds TV....Broken App update to 1.40 broke finding my 60 inch Samsung. All other software remotes work. Simply wont find device. Support will not respond to emails. Sad because I really like this remote. Need faster updates and fixes.

although great app it is not able turn my TV on despite the fact that I'm able to do that by simply cast YouTube to it.

Did not work as advertised. The keyboard does not work with my TV and has a bug where it refuses to open again after one try. I have since asked for a refund.

Struggling to locate the Samsung TV on my Samsung pad. Maybe a manual ISP option would make it easier to connect. Works find on my phone (S9) but even that had a hard time finding the TV as well.

Keyboard doesn't work with the tv software or apps at all and it disconnects from the tv after you push a few buttons! Need a refund!

absolutely fantastic application! Pro version for mouse and keyboard is also working. much much easier than using the remote.

Edited review... Am using the paid version for about an year or so. Now it's crashing Everytime I try to connect to TV on my WiFi.
