Samsung Tectiles

The TecTiles 2 (V2) along with this app work great! Perhaps the prior review by the other person was based either on a prior software version, they may not have been programming them correctly or attempting to program version 1 of the tiles. Assuming they were following the easy to understand instructions in the app, then it was more than likely a previous software version flaw that has since been fixed or version 1 of the tiles. But I can confirm that TecTiles 2/V2 work with this app.

Purchased the Samsung brand TecTiles, opened the pack, tried to program one and was told they are not supported on the Galaxy S5. Went back to the store and all the packs are exactly the same, so I'm unsure what brand to buy. Also, no refund since the pack was opened.

If this is Samsung NFC tag writer I expect better settings support. Every morning when I wake up I have to setup on my smartphone Multi window ON, WiFi, Sync ON, Smart stay, screen rotation and sound on. I will really appreciate better support of this app for my note edge.

It definitely needs more setting options. Very very limited to what settings you can adjust. I also think that all settings should be able to be toggled. What harm could arise from allowing this? Zero. I don't want to check in or open apps, I just want to adjust the settings of my phone and I feel a little let down. :( If there were access to a significant amount of settings, then I would rate this 5 stars without hesitation.

I saw so many updates . I didn't see the changes in the list. We must need mobile data on /off

I assume nfc adds extra draw on the battery. The tag that I have has too little storage to do much, I can imagine having several for different places but I don't really have the need to change several settings, launch apps or get my phone out every time I arrive at one of these places. A bit of a gimmick but I like the idea.

Note edge +tec tiles= nfc tag not supported. Me wth

I love what they can do, I just wish they worked when the phone is in a case. Will not read tag with even a basic hardshell cover on the back of my device.

My old textiles or not compatible, apparently nor is the phone. Samsung neglected that fact.

I got the Samsung Brand TecTiles from my provider. After trying to program got a message that this tag not supported. I have a Samsung Note 4.

Hey Samsung, thanks for NOT telling us they are unsupported with Galaxy S4! I found this out AFTER I bought TecTiles! I finally found out that I need TecTiles 2 so I may use them with my S4. Tsk, tsk...

Samsung TecTiles + Samsung S6 + This Samsung App. Tiles were a waste of money.

This app can't work with older tiles. Pls fix this issue.

Upgraded my phone (note 4) but now all my tags don't work

How can it be that its own app (samsung in a samsung phone) cannot be moved to the SD card? samsung Galaxy S4 mini

I can't seem to find some of this supports activation of the Hotspot or not. I was wanting to turn that on when in the car so my wife only devices would work.

This app does not work with older samsung brand tec tiles.

For me I am using Galaxy S5 and I got no problem... Just that I cannot send any messages using WhatsApp but instead I *MUST* use the default messaging app... Plz update😀

Would be nice if it had more options, like no notifications when tectiles are activated.

Selecting the application to launch was crazy...was not even sorted by name.

Bought textiles because, you know Samsung note 4, Samsung Techies should work right? Wrong, wasted money........ Thanks Samsung 😢😠 was looking for a doggy peeing on Samsung emoticon, I guess no one invented that yet.

GS4 update to most recent software.

The app functions but refused to program any of my textiles... What gives?

I am new to using these and I love them. Currently using them with my Galaxy S7 Edge.

Updating your app multiple times without providing a change log? Rookie mistake. Bad Samsung.

I would like more features such as sync on or off

Works on Note 4 but if only the app looks more modern
