I absolutely recommend this book to any who read the first, and continue to recommend the books afterward as well. Still, as a warning to those who haven't read the first, I'd suggets you do. The whole series is a good read.

Good continuation of the series, not my favorite book so far but it is definitely not bad. Cliffhanger really did take me by surprise as the author really shook off the expected cliché of a 'boss battle' at the end of every book, I did not see that ending coming and it was a great set up for the even better 3rd book! I really hope that the author adds more into the romantic aspect of the game going forward with book 4 & beyond because that is the only part of the story really lacking! Great game

It seemed a bit shorter than the first book, I ended up finishing it within a day but its still just as good! But then its still a bit pricey, for the first book it was around four dollars. I wish it stayed that way but hey, at least it was worth the six bucks! I highly reccomend this, and cant wait to read the third!

It won't let me use any of the names I want. When I try to use a name from the previous save it continuously gets the name wrong, and won't let me try and use a different one. I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall both the first and second chapters several times and it doesn't fix it. I even went back and replayed the first one with a different name and saved with a different email, and it still gives me the first name that has a typo in it for some reason.

Out of the current 4 instalments I liked the settings of this one the most. It took a turn from blood and katana, but I enjoyed how the writer brought a town of arts to life through his writing and extensive knowledge of Japanese culture. This series really is something you can lose yourself in.

Now the sequel to what was an amazing adventure in book 1, has now took a strange turn. Not as much suspense and action. Its sad to see choice and host authors get dragged into producing multiple books which is what I think happened to this author.

First 3 books in this series are incredible and well written.. Sadly I can't say the same for the 4th book. The direction it takes feels wrong after the first 3 books, I'm hoping there's a 5th installment that'll fix the story because the way the 4th book goes feels cheated imo.

Less exciting tome than the first book, but definitely a brilliant experience where you have the chance to create a great story with zero talent 😂

Left my review on the first one but, again, I love this story! Would recommend to anyone.

Very fleshed out story. I still like the first one better tho, mainly because of the faster pacing and an epic conclusion.

Great story which regrettably made me buy part 3... This one's fun though.

Great story!

I have regrets. This was the equivalent of a filler episode of a show. Not as bad as a clip show, but not really adding much. It was fine. Not $6 fine. I'd wait for a sale. Between a tedious chess tournament and pointless vac-cay it felt like just killing time. Characters had feeble arcs with no resolution and in the end we didn't even kill the second spirit which would have at least accomplished something.

Jef. S. Sep 20, 2016

Silly me, I thought the pace would be killing one demon per book. Instead I get a shogi tournament arc that both the player character and I just wanted to be over, yet turns out to be the majority of the book. Cliffhanger end is a cheap shot. Choices affect very little--the game will proceed with the same events regardless. A disappointment.

Fun to play. Book two a little disappointing compared to first book. Could have been a little longer aswell, i completed the book and was a bit peeved to find i have another so called cliffhanger. Still no update to 3rd book release so would advise not to pay and play if you want to complete the game. At moment have to wait for next chapters release and no indication of when that may be.

If you did not read and love the first story then don't bother with this one as its not as good. It feels weighed down by the last story. Very few of your choices amount to a lot, it's nice too see the actions of the character you crafted in the last story. Still good and worth the price, but it did not fill the very big shoes it had.

While the story is written well, it's not suited to be a game unlike many of the other good games here. Other ones let the player choose how their relationship is with each character but here it's whatever the author wants. The kid your guarding is always standoffish to you, your character always has lingering feelings for their ex, and you don't ever feel like your doing what you want to do because no matter how you respond, your character still does stuff on it's own.

After what felt like a lifetime of waiting one of the best stories ever started by hosted makes its return to the scene. I loved how much deeper into the mind of my Ronin I was able to go, and the romantic elements were done in a passionate, yet tasteful manner.I was beyond delighted to read book 2, and I can't wait for the next one.
