Finally, I was hoping they would fix the unpacking files fail issue for almost two years already, now I can enjoy playing SNK games as I usually did, STILL, I do wish they support controllers such as Xbox's & Playstation's to say the least.
Good port of a classic, the controls are little small on screen so precision can be trying. Otherwise a fun time-killer from the old arcade days
The game itself is great, just like the real arcade game. Sadly, it's almost unplayable with a virtual joystick. Would have been great if had the same simple control options as kof-a 2012 👍. The buttons work fine. Doing the correct joystick movement is where the difficulty lies. Even a simple fireball style maneuver is challenging. Hope to see it improved in the future.
I'm trying to play it with my ps3 controller using sixaxis enabler but it doesn't work properly. In the middle of the battle it goes to the main menu and can't go back to the fight. It would be great if you guys could fix that. Playing with the controllers on the screen is not that good. I'm not rating it very good now just because of that issue. Thank you
THIS GAME NEEDS IMMEDIATE FIX! Game's a nostalgic trip. Touch controls are responsive excluding the joystick. Bluetooth Controller support is broken, character's color breaks when selecting a character, bluetooth multiplayer support doesn't work, and on the lowest difficulty, stage 2 AI has too much input reading, literally can't pass that stage.
I want to love this blast from the past, but controller support is broken. Direct Input and Xinput both somehow confuse the game and you back into the menu mid-fight. Please don't suggest buying a new controller, it works perfectly with properly developed games.
If you're gonna charge for a game with touchy controls, then you really need to crank down the difficuly a bit. I play a lot of fighting games, and 2-3 opponents in the AI is sped up, reading/countering every move, AND favoring them with background help. Really? I love SS, so c'mon, make it playable at the very least since you're charging $$$! Smh... :\
great play, great characters...remind me of the old samurai showdown....matter of fact I just bought the newest samurai showdown. the game only lacks control. I seem to be jumping more than moving forward. it could just be me. maybe after getting use to it I'll have a better feel for the game. But overall great game!
Game needs to be played with a controller cause touch screen controls just can't get it done. Unfortunately Bluetooth controller support is garbage and just takes you back to the main menu after a few minutes of playing.
I am so mad right now, how could DotEmu mess this game up? How did this game get past the quality rest, if there was any? Physical controls for this game is even WORSE then KoF98 (playing it with my Beboncool controller) , if you jump and press a button, it triggers the menu. Half-circle and a button triggers the menu to show up. Have that happen too many times during gameplay is enfuriating, to say the least! How could SNK let them do that to their own game?
It's a port of a great game that functions perfectly well, but lacks features from the Neo Geo version, such as the ability to save. It works, but there's probably a Neo Geo emulator out there for Android that can run this game and save it too.
Loved this game since I was a kid playing it in the arcade back in the 90's. Same awesome game I played back then. Only complaint is the controls and the lack of compatibility with bluetooth controllers for my phone.
The game keeps going to the title screen, it's not compatible with Android controller. SNK has great games but should work a little bit more on its mobile platform.
It is good game. Brings back a lot of memories playing it when I was younger however the controls are challenging. It will be great if it could work with a keyboard or game controller. That will be awesome.
Great game, good port. Feedback. Make controls little Better / responsive, move list clearer an extended (all moves). An if at all possible, make number 3 for Android please, 10/10 would buy again
Game is sluggish and touchscreen controls are stiff. This is a shame because it's a classic fighting game.
Honestly this game is too dam difficult. And there's no easy mode. People don't like games where it's too hard to beat to early in.
Great game but no external controller support. Picture yourself trying to play a complex fighting game such as this one with a touchscreen. Yeah.

Low rating because game said unpacking files fail i use to play it on my old phone now i can't on Galaxy S 21 Ultra .By the way i love the game i play it on my Xbox and back on day on the Neo Geo Plaese fix it .
Got a new phone and now I can't play the game anymore due to the files won't unpack. Upgrade for more advanced phones please...
Game keeps going back to the title screen when starting the first match. Kind of disappointing because I remember playing this game in the arcade and how much fun it was.
Why does the game gets difficult immediately after 2 matches on the "EASIEST" difficulty? and trying to input commands seems to be a chore, also sp button is broken.
Pretty good conversion of this classic! The controls function surprisingly well, more than a more combo-centric game like Garou for a touchscreen.
Plays as well as you'd expect a stickbased fighter to play with touch controls, but great graphics art and sound.
Would have loved to play this as I am a huge SS fan. However when playing with a Bluetooth controller, the game goes to the menu half way through a match with the game continuing to play in the background. Can't get a refund either. So thanks SNK.
