While the intent of this app is a great idea, it has some bugs that need to be addressed. For example, textures on a few of the fittings will load as a jumbled mess. Othertimes, it won't load all of the customization options for the sword you want to build, and if you go back to customize one of the swords you saved onto your wishlist, the app starts to load in additional sword graphics that were not there before.

I have continuously lost my swords, because the app randomly closes out. Copper is spelt "Cooper" and the descriptions sometimes do not close when I push the button, causing me to have to save the sword, which takes a long time to do. Besides the problems, it's a very good app that I would recommend to friends.

This app is ingenious and great. I do have a few problems for you to take a look at though. Every so often turning of the katana freezes up and you can only zoom in and out so I have to go back to view sword for it to unfreeze. Also copper is incorrectly spelled "Cooper" several times throughout. Otherwise this app is perfect. Thanks! I was wondering what that button was for!

Great concept, but it's not up to date. I tried the online form before getting this app and I wasn't pleased when I found that some of the features and enhancements to add to the swords were missing from the app (like the double bohi option, a few sword bag designs and the kiriha zukuri kirissaki). Other than that major issue, a few grammatical errors here and there, and the fact that loading is a bit slow (understandable), its very nice.

Depending on your budget, you can actually create and order some high quality swords at reasonable prices with this app. There are a lot of combinations and features but I hope to see more in depth customization options in the future, such as choosing the depth of the sori or the style of the kissaki. Overall it's really a one of a kind app and probably the easiest way to buy completely custom swords online. Keep up the good work!

I didn't know that the blade and handle length can also be customized - yes, they do that! Just go to their website too and click "custom katana" or any sword of your choice. I cannot find that option in the 3D app, but in the app, you can visualize what your order will look like which is really wonderful.

The samurai swords app is very cool. But you must be knowledgeable in the selections so you won't just choose randomly. Esp. the steel part. Go to their website they have a handful of info about it. Though the fun part is the designing (choosing the designs, materials, colors)

This was really good and informative app however while you're trying to select different options not long after you start the app it will automatically close itself out which is extremely disappointing and very freaking stupid. so while I can clearly recommend this app understand that you're going to have to deal some BS when you're in the middle of deciding what you want and you better remember your options or your choices or you want to run through all the options again.

Saw some people complaining about the appbut when Intried it out myself,realized it was pretty neat! Cool designs,great quality materials, you'll never go wrong with this. I ended up ordering my own customized swornd and I just need to wait for it to get delivered. So far, no issues occurred while I was making my sword. All went well.

My only concern is the Color Match for the Ito Wrap & Sageo. When I place my order I want to be sure they match. Plus the Specs on the Blade, usually the better blades thickness tapers from the Tabaki to the tip. This is critical information. However thus far, this is a great tool to design a unique Katana. Of course expanding the selection of parts exponentially increases the likelihood of your customers possessing a 1 of a kind creation.

I thought that this app only had cool features but luckily, it's more than that. Whe I got my first order, I could easily tell that they used high quality materials to produce an excellent sword.. The sword was really functional, the wraps around the tsuka had nice color , feel and were very secure. Definitely using this app again to buy new samurai swords since they really make high-quality pieces.

A pretty good app. Fun to use (even if I can't afford the swords lol). A lot of good sword part options. Would be cool if you could upload custom models. Pros: 3D model updates real time, allows you to save swords on a wishlist. Cons: some options (blade tip style, double blood grove, straight blade) aren't available. The model sometimes doesn't respond to touch.

This is an overall excellent app. After downloading, I started tinkering with the choices and options available. They were interesting and with that time checking, I ended up ordering a samurai sword for myself. I don’t think the prices were bad, especially if the Samurai sword would be given as a gift. Not sure if I missed it but it’d be great to also include the estimated time of when we can receive our sword. All in all, kudos to you guys!

I have always thought that all samurais looked the same but after discovering this app I figured that they do not look the same. There are lots of different sizes colors materials and design. I had a hard time controlling the view of the sword at first but I guess it was just me being old and having poor dexterity.

This 3D-rendered app makes everything more realistic. You're also given an option to add a background which makes navigating easier. Textures aren't that bad, but seeing the samurai sword itself is a lot better. I highly recommend this app for those looking to buy customized swords.

Samurai Sword Store’s app made it easier for me to get acquainted with my new hobby which is learning about Japanese Swords and collecting them. I really learned a lot from the history, manufacturing, different types of steel and swords, and its maintenance. For me, this is what a good shopping website should look like!

I like the oriental feels when I customize my katana. The graphic is 3D which makes it more realistic. The app is smooth running and user friendly because of the double tap for description - made it easier for me to customize more and end up with the design that I like. Thumbs up!

Got my custom sword last month and ever since, I've been using it for tameshigiri. In fact, it's really durable and sharp, making it great for test cutting. Perfect for enthusiasts who enjoy the convenience of smartphones and want to have their own customized sword for use. I really recommend buying swords here since it's not only about the app's nice interface, but the swords are actually great too.

I received my order a few days ago and I'm really glad that I got the exact thing I wanted. It's not just the design that's good. The blade is also more durable than I thought. I immediately tried cutting harder targets which my old sword couldn't do. I'm really happy with the fact that I can get a customized sword through a very convenient app.

When I ordered my first katana here, I was worried about its quality. I thought that the sword would break easily but fortunately, it was much more than what I had expected. I chose T10 steel for my blade so I could use it for tameshigiri. It's amazing that I can really cut advanced targets using it. In fact, it's one of the best swords that I have.

This app is one of few ways to get a customized sword. I hope after other blade lengths are added, that different geometries/sugata and tip/kissaki lengths are added. Different handle lengths might also not be too costly or time consuming for the developers or forge if it were added and would increase customization. I would recommend this app. More hamon would be nice.

The general concept is very nice but when I click on go back, it won't. Sometimes making a selection on fittings or blade type I have to repeatedly press the button for it recognize the selected item. I certainly would hope that the quality of the sword would not be akin to the quality of this particular app. Many improvements need made. F.Y.I. I'm offering constructive criticism with hopes that it will help.

Decent concept, yet needs improvements. Image would tend to freeze up and refuse to scroll. When accessing the description of each part, their explanations were generic, and would also freeze up the screen. Not truly customizable in size or pattern (hamon - only has two options) of the blade. Cookie cutter parts, which is typical for Chinese production katanas. Nicely made, but they just are not truly a "custom made" sword. They should be labeled as multi option production swords, which is true.

I'm a cosplayer, and having a real customized samurai sword helped me take realistic pictures. Glad that I could pick the materials, styles and colors that I want down to the littlest detail! Great app for those looking for sword materials, I highly recommend it.

Cool app, awesome visuals, and easy to use system. Even a kid will be able to navigate through this. It’s visually appealing and you can have the enjoyment of customizing your own samurai blade. Whoever thought of this is awesome.

Everything that I need to see is here! From the new feature--customize your own sword, to ready made swords, and other varieties. Not to mention the informative background on the swords, and how to maintain them. I don’t need to go to other websites to watch videos on how to maintain and know something about my product. All-in-on app, indeed!
