ATTENTION: For B-Series you have to install an application on your TV which is kind of a hack. Read the following paragraph or visit the website linked at the bottom (http://quist.de/2011/02/remote-control-samsung-tv-with-android-phone/?lang=en), otherwise the remote won't work for you!!!!!!
If you have a C-Series or D-Series TV, make sure you activated "Remote Control" in your TVs Menu under System-Settings. If there is no such setting, your TV is not supported.
The following TVs are supported without modification:
• TVs from 2010 with Internet@TV feature: Models greater or equal to LCD 650, LED 6500, PDP 6500
• TV from 2011 with AllShare feature: Models greater or equal to LCD 550, LED 5500, PDP 5500
• TV from 2012 with AllShare feature: Models greater or equal to LCD 550, LED 5500, PDP 5500
• Bluerad Disc Player released in 2011 with Smart Hub feature
The following TVs are currently known to be unsupported: C490, C5100, C6300, C680, C687
ATTENTION: For B-Series it is necessary to install the SamyGo application "Remote Lan Control" on your TV. If you don't know what this is, don't install this app. More information about how to install the application on your TV can be found in the link at the bottom.

Works very well comparing to other apps like this. As my personal recommendation, use a static IP for the TV. I'm also a bit disappointed cause this app could do a lot more (like turning on the TV) especially when you have a rooted TV with Samygo on it..... Please make a add free version of it. Please!
It's not a B model and it found the tv automatically but just doesn't work. Uninstalled and I very much doubt I'll ever install it again. I used to love it but not any more
Please consider releasing a paid ad free version. I'll never click on the ridiculous ads but I will pay for an ad free version.
It didn't worked on my Samsung TV and also an error occurs on my phone that it's not connected so smart experia users don't be oversmart I have Expedia also but it don't work on any of the folliwing. I have Samsung HTC Sony apple micromax lenovo HCl and Alsoany more
Would be happy to pay for a version that doesn't have ads. Otherwise this app works perfectly.
The ads are very annoying so 1 star for that other than that the remote works good. Will change my rating when you remove ads or make a pro ad free version.
Works on my 55" Samsung 6300 series tv. So nice to always have a remote when the kids lose the main remote.
Found my tv on search but when trying to use controls it said it wasn't connected! It either works or it doesn't. This didn't.
Must be Cuz I ain't got no fingers, lost both arms and legs and upper torso in the war, so I use me tongue.
Love the way the kids exclaim when I turn the TV down from the dining room :-)

Have Samsung 40J5300 TV. Any remote control app including this is unable to control my TV. At least this app told that my TV is rejecting the conn on port 55000 which is the default port for any wifi remote control. Have international Note 2 stock 4.4.2 rooted. How can I fix my problem?

Works perfectly with my Samsung LN55C650 55" TV. I only wish it could turn the TV on as well. But, I accept the limitation. All other remote functions work well and are instantaneous from anywhere on my wireless network. I only with I could figure out how to make Amazon's Echo / Alexa work as a remote as well.
